Clearing, scrapping and grubbing road land by manual means including uprooting wild vegetation, grass, bushes, shrubs, saplings and trees of girth upto 300 mm, removal of stumps of such trees cut earlier and disposal of unserviceable materials and stacking of serviceable material to be used or auctioned, upto a lead of 1000 m including removal and disposal of top organic soil not exceeding 150 mm in thickness as per Technical Specifications Clause 201 for Rural Roads of MORD.

Dismantling of existing structures like culverts, bridges, retaining walls and other structure comprising of masonry, cement concrete, steel work, by Mechanical Means including T&P and scaffolding wherever necessary, sorting the dismantled material,including by cutting of reinforcement from the dismantled concrete and disposal of unserviceable material and stacking the serviceable material with all lifts and lead of 1000 m as per Technical Specifications for Rural Roads of MORD.

Dismantling including dismembering of Steel Work in all Types of Sections upto a height of 5 m above Plinth Level excluding Cutting of rivet as per Technical Specifications Clause 202 for Rural Roads of MORD.

Dismantling of flexible pavements made of bituminous Courses by Mechanical means and disposal of dismantled materials upto a lead of 100 m, stacking serviceable and unserviceable materials separately as per Technical Specifications for Rural Roads of MORD.

Earth work in excavation in hard soil,laterite rocks and disintegrated rocks by mechanical means for area grading / surface preparation work including removing, spreading or staking the spoils within a lead of 1000 m as directed by EIC.

Earth work in filling for surface preparation / area grading work with excavated earth obtained from cutting for area grading. Including watering and ramming etc. layer by layer as required to complete. (Payment to be made on the basis of measurement of finished quality of work)

Filling by sand in layers not exceeding 300 mm as directed and consolidating ,same by thorough saturation with water ramming complete. Including the cost of supply of sand. [Payment to be made on measurement of compacted quantity.]

Earth work in filling in low land, ditches etc. with good carried earth arranged by the contractor within a radius exceeding 5 km. but not exceeding 10 km. including cost of carried earth., in layers not exceeding 300 mm. including breaking clods and consolidating the same by amming and dressing complete. (Payment will be made on profile measurement before and after the work)

Removal of rubbish, earth etc from the working site and disposal of the same to a distance of 1 km by loading into truck and cleaning the site in all respect as per direction of engineer in charge.

Box cutting or filling in Road embankment in hard soil or dis-integrated rock by mechanical means including spreading the spoils properly over the flank as necessary or on berm to approximate grade & camber and rolling the sub-grade with power roller to proper camber and grade as per direction and satisfaction of Engineer-in-charge including uprooting and removing plants and jungles when and where necessary

Depth up to 150 mm.

For each additional Depth of 150mm and part thereof.

Granular Sub-base with Graded Material (by Mix in Place Method) - Construction of granular sub-base by providing graded material, mixing by mix in place method with Rotavator at OMC, spreading in uniform layers with Motor grader on prepared surface in proper grade and camber, compacting with vibratory roller to achieve the desired density, including lighting, guarding, barricading, including cost of all materials, machinery, tools and plants including cost of quality control complete as per Specifications for Road & Bridge Works of MoRT&H.

Supplying ,Laying, spreading and compacting stone aggregate of specified sizes to WBM specifications in uniform thickness, hand picking, rolling with 3 wheeled road/vibratory roller 8-10 tonne capacity in stages to proper grade and camber, applying and brooming requisite type of screening / binding material to fill up interstices of coarse aggregate,watering and compacting to the required density .

Dry stone pitching 22.5 cm thick including supply of stones and preparing surface complete as per approved drawing or as per direction of EIC.

Providing and laying in position cement concrete of specified grade excluding the cost of centering and shuttering

Manufacturing, supplying and fixing retro reflective sign boards made up of 2 mm thick aluminium sheet, face to be fully covered with high intensity encapsulated type heat activated retro reflective sheeting conforming to type - IV of ASTM-D 4956-01 in blue and silver white or other colour combination including subject matter, message (bi-lingual), symbols and borders etc. as per IRC ; 67:2001, pasted on substrate by an adhesive backing which shall be activated by applying heat and pressure conforming to class -2 of ASTM-D-4956-01 and fixing the same with suitable sized aluminium alloy rivets @ 20 cm c/c to back support frame of M.S. angle iron of size 25x25x3 mm along with theft resistant measures, mounted and fixed with 2 Nos. M.S. angles of size 35x35x5 mm to a vertical post made up to M.S. Tee section ISMT 50x50x6 mm welded with base plate of size 100x100x5 mm at the bottom end and including making holes in pipes, angles flats, providing & fixing M.S. message plate of required size, steel work to be painted with two or more coats of synthetic enamel paint of required shade and of approved brand & manufacture over priming coat of zinc chromate yellow primer (vertical MS-Tee support to be painted in black and white colours).Backside of aluminium sheet to be painted with two or more coats of epoxy paint over and including appropriate priming coat including all leads and lifts etc. complete as per drawing,specification and direction of Engineer-in-charge.

Mandatory/ Regulatory sign boards of 900 mm diametre with support length of 3750 mm

Detail survey for the road work and - survey of a corridor over which spot levels and hinderences to be ascertained at fixed interval along the width & length of the corridor to determine the best possible route & formation for the road.

Preparation of drawings ,submission for approval and distribution of 5 copies to Nalco and DCPL

Preparation and submission of As built drawings post construction .
