Earthwork in embankment :Earth work in embankment by Mechanical means by truck carriage with locally available ordinary/normal soil excluding sandy and rocky soil free from roots & vegetation and filling in uniform layers not exceeding 25 cm thick including ploughing or roughening or benching the seats, removing all debries, breaking clods up to 4 cm cube, dressing as per design section and compaction in layers not exceeding 30 cm in thickness and core cutter soil test at every layer and every 500 m distance, etc. complete as directed. B. Compaction with vibratory roller of 80-100 kN capacity. (2.24.1) For initial Lead up to 1.00 Km for all lifts.

Turfing with grass sods of largest possible rectangles of 12 cm. minimum thickness placed closely including dressing earth pegging with Jati bamboo split, watering till the grass grows for a lead up to 90 m and all lifts, etc. complete as directed.

B. Construction of Sluice Gate (1 no):Plain/reinforced cement concrete in substructure complete A) With Crushed Stone II) P.C.C. grade M 20 (i) Nominal mix (1:2:4)

Plain/reinforced cement concrete in substructure complete A) With Crushed Stone (IV) RCC Grade M 25 (i) for height upto 5m.

Supplying, fitting and placing TMT (Fe-500 D) reinforcement bar (From Primary Producer: TATA/SAIL/Esser Steel/ Jindal steel/Shyam steel/RINL) in substructrue complete.

Providing and laying flooring laid over cement concrete bedding complete as per drawing and technical specification Clause 1303 III) Brick on edge laid in cement mortar (1:3)

(FORM WORK) Centering and shuttering including strutting, propping etc. and removal of form for Walls (any thickness) including attached pilasters, butteresses, plinth and string courses etc.

Earthwork in excavation for structures as per drawing and technical specifications Clause 305.1 including setting out, construction of shoring and bracing, removal of stumps and other deleterious material and disposal upto a lead of 50 m, dressing of sides and bottom and backfilling in trenches with excavated suitable material. Providing and laying of boulder apron laid in wire crates with 4 mm dia GI wire conforming to IS:280 and IS:4826 in 100 mm x 100 mm mesh (woven diagonally) including 10 per cent extra for laps and joints laid with stone boulders weighing not less than 25 kg each.

Bored cast-in-situ M35 grade R.C.C. pile excluding reinforcement complete as per drawing and technical specifications and removal of excavated earth with all lifts and lead upto 1000 m. including providing plasticiser (Masterplast PL-1/SPL-2 or equivalent), air entraining and water reducing plasticiser ( asterplast PAE or equivalent) and accelerating plasticiser (Masterplast ACPL or equivalent) conforming to IS-9103-1999 (Pile diameter-750 mm) (Qnty. 53Nos. x 10m. =530RM.)
