Amount

Excavation in trenches, not exceeding 1.5m wide and not exceeding 1.5 m in depth for foundation laying of pipe line etc and getting out in hard/dense soil complete all as specified and as directed.

Returning filling including spreading, levelling watering and well ramming in layers not exceeding 25 cm thick in hard/dense soil complete all as specified and as directed.

Removing excavated surplus hard/dense soil to a distance not exceeding 50 m and depsoiting where directed at a level not exceeding 1.5 m above the starting point complete all as specified and asdirected

Supply and Laying in trenches galvanised steel water tubing 80mm dia of medium grade with and inclding all fittings such as bends, elbows, tees, unions, nipples, short pieces etc as requierd at site, laid in trenches including dismantiling and taking out old unserviceable pipe line along with fittings from existing connections complete all as specified and as directed Note:- (i) Excavation and earth work shall be measured and paid separately under relevant item of BOQ.' (ii) The rates quoted inclusive of cutting, jointing and testing of the pipe (iii) All other fittings requierd shall be provided by the contractor at his own cost. Cleaning of 5000 Glns under ground sump by draining out water from the tank with portable pump sets, removing sludge, mud or any other foregin materials from the bottom and cleaining internal surface by wire brushing washing internally by using bleaching powder and applying 2 coats of lime washing including re-wiriting the date of cleaning, capacity of the tank etc complete with white paint on black back ground complete all as specified and as directed at ASC Pump House.
