EXTERNAL ELECTRIFICATION Supply, installation, commissioning and testing Outdoor type Automatic power factor corrector (APFC) capacitor bank panel floor mounted ,weather proof made out of 3.15 mm thick CRCA sheet , out door type and structure duly fixed on structural channel, fixed on ground by PCC works ( 1:2:4 Type B-1 ) and net cementing the same, the cubicle panel should have enamelled danger notice plate, duly painted with coats of powder coated paint internally and externally on the surface all as specified and directed. Note: Contractor shall provide minimum 70 Litre DHPP'N' for the testing of DG set on full load current upto continuous run of 12 Hrs till achieving satisfactory output at site. Testing and commissioning of the transformer shall be deemed to be included in rate.
(I) ENGINE (a) General: Suitable four stroke compressed ignition, 25.5 BHP, 1500 rpm, radiator liquid cooled, continuous duty with 10% overload capacity for any one hour in 12 hours running, 50°C intake air temperature. The prime mover provided should be as per IS specifications. (b) Air intake system : Should comprise of dry type intake air filter mounted on engine, one in number vacuum indicator mounted on intake piping. (c) Exhaust System: Should comprise of one exhaust manifold, dry type, mounted on engine, one exhaust silencer which should be positioned in such a way that the exhaust gas is not sucked by the fan on the radiator, thereby affecting the cooling system. The silencer should cater to the noise level tolerance prescribed in the relevant IS/BS. The silencer should be provided with flaps with a provision so that it will open only when the generator is running. The complete exhaust system shall be properly supported so that entire lot of the exhaust system shall not fall on the DG Set.
(d) Fuel System: Should comprise of disposal type element fuel filter, pressure type fuel pump mounted on engine, non return check valve in fuel supply and drain lines, wire braided hose between filter and pump, electronically controlled fuel system with EFC control with digital electronic governor and engine mounted actuator. The fuel tank must have proper locking arrangement. (f) Lubricating System: Should comprise of lubricating oil sump mounted on engine, gear driven lub oil pump mounted on engine, lubricating oil cooler-fresh water cooled integral with engine cool out circuit mounted on engine, oil filter lubricating with cap and lubricating oil dip stick for oil level check mounted on engine. The system should be capable of feeding lube oil to the main end & large end bearings, cam shaft, valve rocker gear and all moving parts. (g) Starting System: Should comprise of suitable voltage DC electrical starter mounted on engine, with suitable maintenance free batteries to be mounted in trays (having rubber insulation) on the main frame with in-built charging unit. Supply and install , testing & commissioning self supporting outdoor type totally enclosed LT panel of size not less than 800 x 650 x450mm compartmentalised design , IP65 dust and vermin proof of suitable size for 440 volt , 3 phase , 4 wire system made out of 3.15mm thick CRCA sheet and built up on rigid frame work of having front and rear hinged doors with neoprene rubber gasket including danger plate , earthing strip point and ventilation louvers at the rear side bottom detachable gland plate complete with suitable size of zinc/ chromium plate and nuts , bolts, and washers etc. The panel shall be powder coated CPRI approved and treated with 7 tank process and incoming / outgoing cable holes fitted with cable glands at the bottom. The panel shall be embedded with 50x50x6mm MS angle iron frame and 30cm above the normal ground level complete with suitable size foundation with PCC (1:24) type B2 and fitted with following accessories complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in -charge Note: all internal connection of MCCB from bus bar made by using aluminium bus bar of rated capacity
DEMOLITION/ DISMANTLING/ TAKING DOWN Taking down DB,s etc any type and capacity complete all specified and directed.
Taking down Old MCBs & MCCBs any type and capacity complete all specified and directed.
Taking down old Sub Main Wiring any type complete all specified and directed.
Taking down Old LT outdoor type Panel any type and size complete all specified and directed.
Taking down old GI Earthing complete any type complete all specified and directed.
Taking down old LT cable of any type including bricks etc. complete all specified and directed.
Note:- Schedule of credit (Sch 'A' Part- XV) amount of Rs 2,19,821.25 shall be deducted from the total quoted amount of BOQ.
