(iv) Seal the nozzle with thixotropic epoxy adhesive after the refusal of grout material from the nozzle. Earth plate shall be surrounded by alternate layers of charcoal or coke and common salt in 15cm thick in layers & 15cm of width all around, sides, bottom and top of earth plate including 20 mm bore GI light grade pipe for watering and including funnel, wire mesh, PCC chamber pit made with PCC (1:3:6) type C1 (using 20 mm graded stone aggregate), Pre-cast RCC pit cover made with RCC (1:2:4) type B1 (using 20 mm graded stone aggregate) duly re-inforced with 8mm dia TMT Bar @150 mm c/c both ways, one lifting handle made of 8 mm dia TMT bar embedded in cover slab, including necessary form work, excavation and earth work in any type of soil, returning filling and disposal of surplus soil to a distance not exceeding 50m, complete all as specified & shown in electrical plate No. 3 of SSR 2009 (Part-I) including testing on completion and including taking out/dismantling old unserviceable earthing system complete all as directed by Engineer-in-charge. Note:- (i) PCC chamber shall be constructed at least 1.5 metre away from the earth electrode and pipe for watering shall be provided in slanting manner. (ii) Earth testing arrangement at site should be done by the contractor as per direction of Engineer-in-charge and Satisfactorily test report forward to E8 section duly signed by all concerned along with running payment.
Material & labour for earth continuity conductor or main earthing lead fixed to wall on batten with saddles or chases or buried in ground/drawn in conduit/pipe or fixed along pole for loop earthing, down conductor etc. or any other indicated situation as required by using 4mm dia GI wire complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.
MISCELLANEOUS B/R PORTION
Cutting out bricks of old brick walls built in cement / mud mortar, forming toothing for, and bonding new into old work including value of new materials entering old walls and jointing and pointing (measured on vertical face in contact with old wall only) including new brick work with sub class old size 'B' bricks built in cement mortar (1:6) all as specified.
Supply and fixing MS flat iron hold fasts for jointing bond between column and brick wall including embedding in concrete and screwing etc complete all as specified and directed.
Dismantling of old concertina coil of any dia including stacking properly and refixing the same with new clips etc complete all as specified and directed.
Preparation of new surfaces and applying fire retardant paint two coats as per manufacturer's instructions on surfaces of any description of steel surface exceeding 10cm in width or girth complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and fixing 20mm dia, 300mm long wedge type chemical fasteners as per manufacturer's instruction and shown on drawing complete all as specified and directed.
Supply and fixing plain galvanised mild steel sheeting as in 1.00mm thick in ridge hips valley gutters drips and straight flushing with grade of zink coating 275 complete all as specified and directed.
Hard core of gauge not exc 20mm, deposited, spread, and levelled in layers not exc 15cm thick, watered and rolled / rammed to a true surface using broken stone or boulders.
Coarse sand deposited ,spreading and levelling in layers not exceeding 15 cm thick including well ramming and watering to a true surface as required.
