CLEANING OF TERRACE: Cleaning of dry leaves, dust, silt, scrap materials, vegetation, bushes, fungus, algae, green wild creepers and like other loose materials such as brick bats, metal etc. from flat / slope roofs, rain water gutter, parapet, chajjas, catwalks and cleaning the rain water down take pipes, water spout pipes at all heights etc. and as directed by the EIC during the entire monsoon period. The rates are including cost of polythene bags. The collected debris shall not be thrown from terrace. The collected debris shall be kept at one place for further transportation to dumping yard. Note:- Contractor should visit the site before quoting the rate for this item.

CLEANING OF PH SERVICE SHAFTS: Cleaning thoroughly the existing service shafts behind RCC jali / behind gents & ladies toilet at all floors including cleaning thoroughly out side surface of the existing cast iron soil and rain water pipes of all wastes, removing rags, loose material, cob webs, cloth pieces, broken concrete pieces and all deleterios materials including lift and lead charges, cost of all tools, tackles, plants, accessories etc. all complete and as directed by the EIC.

CLEANING OF OPEN STORM DRAINS: Removing of silt, dry leaves, murrum, small boulders etc. completely from the bed of open nallah, drains, open rubble pitched drains, canals & disposing the removed earth within a lead of 50mtr. during monsoon / non-monsoon period. The rates are including removing of green wild creepers etc. including silt thickness on the drain bed upto 150 mm thick.

CLEANING OF COVERED STORM DRAINS: Removing of silt, dry leaves, murrum, small boulders etc. completely from the bed of closed drains with RCC / CI grating, box culverts etc. having depth not beyond 2.5 mts. and disposing the removed earth & debris within a lead of 50mts. including removal and putting back the RCC / CI grating properly as required during the entire monsoon / non-monsoon period and as directed by EIC.

CLEANING OF GULLY TRAPS: Cleaning of Gully Trap / Gully Chambers and stoneware pipes upto adjoining Inspection Chamber and CI pipes from Nahani trap to Gully trap. The rates are inclusive of removing and refixing CI cover of Gully Trap / Gully Chambers.

CLEANING OF STORM CHAMBERS: Removal of silt, dry leaves, mud, soil, grass, debris, etc. from storm water collection chambers manually after removing C.I. covers & re-fixing the covers at proper location including disposal of retrieved material to a lead of 500 mts., at CT&CRS building.

CLEANING OF INSPECTION CHAMBERS, MANHOLES OF SEWAGE LINE: Cleaning of Sewage Manholes / Inspection Chambers of canteen, toilets, sewage line etc. carefully by mechanical means or with sewage cleaning tools complete all as directed by EIC. Pipe in between chambers will be measured seperately. The rates are inclusive of removing muck, solids and disposing the same beyond 2 km distance. Pumping arrangement for water is to be made by contractor at his own cost. The rates are inclusive of pumping as required if any.

CLEANING OF SEWAGE PIPE LINE: Cleaning and removal of sewage or drainage wastes, muck etc. from horizontal, sloping RCC/CI/PVC lines of all dia. (burried underground/under roads/exposed) connecting to sewage inspection chambers, manhole chamber etc. by mechanically / manually as desired by EIC including cost of labour, tools, machines, transportation etc.

CLEANING RCC PIPE STORM DRAIN: Cleaning of existing storm water Hume Pipe lines of different diameters / pipe culverts and at all locations such as road, berms/ lawns, buried inside the building etc. which are partly or fully filled with silt, small boulders, dry leaves, grass, etc. by disposing the removed debris within a lead of 50 mtrs and as directed by the EIC.

CLEANING JUNGLE: Clearing Jungle including uprooting of rank vegetation, grass, brush wood, trees and saplings of girth up to 30 cm measured at a height of 1m above ground level and removal of rubbish upto a distance of 50 m outside the periphery of the area cleared as per specifications and as directed by the EIC.

SURFACE DRESSING: Surface dressing of the ground including removing vegetation and in levelling not exceeding 15 cm deep and disposal of rubbish at a lead up to 50 M in all kinds of soil complete as per specifications and as directed by the EIC.

TRIMMING THE BRANCHES OR CLEARING THE SITE OF FALLEN TREE: Trimming the branches or clearing the site of fallen tree of girth measured at a height of 1 m above ground level including trimming of branches or cutting of trunks and branches, removing the roots and stacking of serviceable material and disposal of unserviceable materials complete as per specifications and as directed by the EIC.

LEAD CHARGES FOR LEAD UPTO 4 KM: Lead charges for lead exceeding 3 km but not exceeding 4 km by mechanical transport including loading, unloading, stacking, levelling etc. (Note: The rates in respect of Item are applicable for NET Quantities arrived at after making deduction for voids @ 30% from corresponding TRUCK Measurement). Note: Transporting of debris at disposal ground, disposing , stacking, leveling & statutory charges if any will be responsibility of the Contractor and no extra charges shall be paid for the same.

Debris Beyond 3 km but upto and including 4 km

SUPPLYING MAN POWER IN MONSOON: Supplying man power along with necessary pans, spades, shovels, pickaxe, punjas, ropes, small special spade, raincoats, safety shoes, etc. @ labour per day upto maximum any number of labour as and when decided by EIC to work for 08 hours per day/night in monsoon period to carry out the cleaning of choked drains / grating grills / hume pipes / footpath by removing the dry leaves, silt etc. and also carry out seasonable departmental work allotted by EIC from time to time.

Providing and laying in position CEMENT CONCRETE OF 1:2:4 (1 cement, 2 crushed sand, 4 graded stone aggregate of nominal size 20mm) including consolidation, finishing, curing etc. complete as per specification and drawings but excluding the cost of Formwork shuttering, centering and steel reinforcement at all Levels.

Providng and fixing at or near ground level PRECAST CEMENT CONCRETE 1:2:4 IN KERBS, Using 100% manufactured sand, edgings etc. as per approved patterns and setting in position with C.M 1:3 (using coarse sand) including consolidation, curing, cost of required centering, shuttering, finishing smooth with 6 mm thick cement plaster 1:3 (using fine sand) on exposed surfaces complete as per specifications.

Supplying and providing CANVAS HOSE PIPE with SS Male & Female Coupling, instantanous spring lock arrangement of approved make and weight as specified in the drawings or as directed by the Engineer in charge.

MAINTENANCE OF MONOBLOCK PUMP SETS (DEWATERING PUMPS) of capacity 0.5HP / 1.0HP/ 1.5HP utilising for Monsoon Emergengy Response and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Maintenance including oiling, greasing, cleaning etc. as & when required.

Overhauling of Motors / Starters

Carrying out Civil Engineering works like surveying & leveling, checking of formwork fabrication, reinforcement fabrication as per drawings, witnessing sample retrieval & testing for various construction materials, ensuring concrete ingredient ratio in PCC /RCC works, ensuring proper mixing of approved ingredients & waterproofing admixtures for mortars and brickwork, plaster, flooring & waterproofing works, and other civil & PH works including supervision of construction safety as per BARC specifications & relevant documentation, compiling, binding and preparation of tender documents, preparation of RA bills & Agreements overall as directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Note : (1)Each Job shall be carried out by one qualified Degree holder with 1 (one ) year experience/Diploma holder with 3 year experience /Licentiate in Civil/Construction Engineering / Technology conducted by Board of Technical Examinations / University/ Autonomous Govt / Govt recognized recognized Polytechnic/ Institute. (2)Deployment: The contractor shall deploy one Engineer for each job for minimum 26 working days per month for minimum 8 ½ hours per day with 30 minutes of break, in General (Ist / IInd) or on Round the clock shift including Saturdays, Sundays & holidays whenever necessary as per the discretion of the Engineer-in-Charge during the contract period. (3) Period of work: The contractor shall carry out 1 (one) Job per month as per requirement at site for the period mentioned in NIT.(4) Mode of measurement : Measurement will be per job basis. A single job shall be carried out by deploying one engineer exclusively for the particular job.(5) Engineer should be engage after scrutiny of BARC Engineers and approved by Competent authority. (6) In case the Engineer does not work for 26 working days in a month, then the payment for the month will be worked out on pro-rata basis considering actual number of working days.
