RECANNING OF CHAIRS, FD-279, FD-229, FD-280, FD-282 (a) Removing of old unserviceable plastic cane from all sorts of chairs i.e chair dining, chair writing, chair easy , stool dressing CB etc (except chair verandah) including recaning with new cane of white colour of size 3 mm wide and 0.60 mm thick (flat) alround for border of seat and back and 2 mm wide and 0.40 mm thick half round for remaining portion, complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer - in - Charge

RECANNING CHAIR VARANDAH FD-359 & FD-256 (a) Removing of old unserviceable cane plastic from chair verandah, painting with one coat of synthetic enamel paint (White) after preparation of old painted surfaces, including recanning with new cane of white colour of size 4 mm wide and 0.60 mm thick for seat and back, closely woven as per mat pattern all as shown on drawing and also including providing new rubber shoes at the bottom of legs after removing of old shoes complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Change.

(b) Painting steel and iron surfaces of the chair complete by spray painting synthetic enamel paint of white shade including preparation of steel and iron surfaces (Priming with red oxide primer shall be done wherever welding is carried out for the broken joints and also replacemnt of old unservicable required parts and filler coat applies).

(c) Supply and fixing 04 Nos hard rubber shoes to each chair verandah as per drawings.

Sofa Set 4/5 Seats FD-373 (a) Replacement of seat and back cushion 100 mm thick made of cool foam (Make : Sleepwell/ kurlon ) of 32 density duly covered with well finished best quality tapestry cloth not less than Rs 250/- meter shade and quality shall be approved by Engr-in- charge/GE.

(b) Replacement of long, front and back rail made of well seasonedsheesham wood duly plained / smoothened after taking out the old unserviceable one of 3 seater chair.

(c) Replacement of long, front and back rail, rest all as per item No. 3(b) here in before but single seater.

(d) Replacement of short stiffeners well seasoned 1st quality sheesham wood all as specified in drawings after taking out the old existing unserviceable one of 3 seater /single seater

(e) Replacement of front legs of well seasoned Sheesham wood all as specified in drawings after taking out the old existing unserviceable of Sofa Chair 4/5 seater.

(f) Replacement of back legs of well seasoned Sheesham wood all as specified in drawings after taking out the old existing unserviceable of Sofa Chair 4/5 seater.

(g) Replacement of Arms well seasoned Sheesham wood all as specified in drawings after taking out the old existing unserviceable of Sofa Chair 4/5 seater.

(h) Polishing all new and old surface with two caots of french polish after preparation of old surface complete all as specified.

Chair dinning Cushioned /long back FD/E6/MAP/ 10 (R) (a) Replacement of seat cushioned 75 mm thick made of cool foam (Make : Sleepwell/ kurlon) of 32 density including ply wood 12mm thick suitable for seat duly covered with well finished best quality tapestry cloth not less than Rs 250/- meter shade and quality shall be approved by Engr-in- charge/GE.

(b) Replacement of front legs made of well seasoned sheesham wood duly plaine/smoothened after taking out the old unserviceable front legs

(c) Replacement of rear legs rest all as per item No. 10 (b) here in before

(d) Replacement of front and back rail well seasoned sheesham wood all as specified in drawings after taking out the old existing unserviceable rails

(e) Replacement of side rail well seasoned Sheesham wood all as specified in drawings after taking out the old existing unserviceable side rails.

(f) Replacement of back rail stiffner , side and middle stiffner well seasoned Sheesham wood all as specified in drawings after taking out the old existing unserviceable stiffners.

(g) S&F second class hard wood corner / bracket (L shape) of size 50mm x 50mm x 20mm thick fitted with screw between side rail to legs.

(h) Polishing all new and old surface with two caots of french polish after preparation of old surface complete all as specified.

Chair easy Cushioned FD-358 (a) Replacement of seat cushioned 75 mm thick made of cool foam (Make : Sleepwell/ kurlon ) of 32 density duly covered with well finished best quality tapestry cloth not less than Rs 250/- Per meter shade and quality shall be approved by Engr-in- charge/GE.

(b) Replacement of back cushioned 75 mm thick made of cool foam (Make : Sleepwell/ kurlon ) of 32 density duly covered with well finished best quality tapestry cloth not less than Rs 250/- per meter shade and quality shall be approved by Engr-in- charge/GE.

(c) Replacement of front legs made of well seasoned sheesham wood duly plained/smoothened after taking out the old unserviceablefront legs.

(d) Replacement of rear legs rest all as per item No. 11 (b) here in before

(e) Replacement of front and back rail well seasoned sheesham wood all as specified in drawings after taking out the old existing unserviceable rails.

(f) Replacement of side rail well seasoned Sheesham wood all as specified in drawings after taking out the old existing unserviceable side rails.

(g) Polishing all new and old surface with two caots of french polish after preparation of old surface complete all as specified.

(Repairs to Chair CBA Spl with hand rest FD-75(M) (a) Removing old unserviceable seat of chair CB special with hand rest and in lieu providing new seat of chair CB special with hand rest as per specification mentioned in drg (including fixing materials). FD-75 (M) SH 1/1

(b) Removing old unserviceable back seat of Chair CB spl with hand rest and in lieu providing new back seat of chair CB special with hand rest as per specification mentioned in drg (including fixing materials).

(c) Removing old unserviceable hand rest of chair CB special and in lieu providing new hand rest as per drg.

(d) Painting to steel & iron surface of chair one coat by spray gun with synthetic enamel paint of olive green shade after preparation of old surface complete all as specified.

Chair school with handboard (MAP) FD/MAP/E6/05 (a) Removing old unserviceable one piece pvc seat and back of chair school with handboard (MAP) and in lieu providing new one piece pvc seat and back (Blowplast or equivalent) of chair as per specified in drawing including fixing material complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

(b) Removing old unserviceable handboard of chair and in lieu providing new handboard made out of 18 mm pre-laminated particle board (Exterior grade) of size 600 x 300 mm with PVC edging shall be provided at all around the board with screwed to 25 mm hollow steel piece pipe to be inserted on 20 mm MS road welded to frame complete and including welding of steel frame the broken joints also painting with one coat of synthetic enamel paint shade blackwith providing four nos new hard rubber shoes to each chair complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Replacement of U/S ply top of Charpoy IP with new Hard top (Drg FD/MAP-II/01) (i) Removing of unserviceable plywood from Charpoy IP, Supply and fixing the 12 mm thick plywood sheet on top, suitable for Charpoy IP as shown on drg. of size 1980 x 900 mm (BWR) as per IS-303 with mild steel galvanized iron nuts & bolts of size 70mmx6mm with GI washer ( heavy weight) and including electric welding of loose long rail, short rail, legs, centre stiffener 25 x 25 mm square MS tube and cleat tube size of 25 x 60 mm x6 mm of MS pipe by continuous welding around the broken joints and also replacement of old unserviceable above parts with new parts where required and also including painting with one coat of synthetic enamel paint (Black) after preparation of old painted surface with providing four nos new hard rubber shoes to each charpoy IP at the bottom of legs after removing of old shoes complete all as specified and directed by GE/Engineer-in-Charge. Note :- (i) Cost of minor repair like welding to frame if required etc is deemed to be included in the quoted rate. (ii) Cost of all type nut bolts and washers, PVC shoes and painting of the charpoy IP to be included in the quoted rate.

Replacement of U/S ply top/ Nylon Newer of Charpoy GI Pipe with new Plywood top, FD-220 (i) Removing of unserviceable plywood/ Nylon Newar from Charpoy GI Pipe, tightening of loose check nuts, elbows, long rails. Short rails, legs (i.e., complete charpoy) and supply and fixing the 12 mm thick 7 ply, commercial type BWR, exterior grade (water proof), ISI-303 marked of size 1980 x 900 mm fixed on top of GI Charpoy as shown on drawing with mild steel galvanized iron nuts & bolts of size 70mmx6mm with GI washer ( heavy weight) and three stiffner made out of MS flat iron 35 x 5 mm parallel to short rail duly painted black will be welded between the long rail (All as approved by GE and directed by Engr -in- charge.

(ii) Removing of unserviceable long rail of charpoy GI Pipe and supply and fixing new long rail duly threading both side /welding properly made out of GI tubing 32 mm bore medium grade duly painted portion all as per sample available. Threading/welding of new rail as per best trade practice and as approved by GE. Make of GI Pipe :- Jindal/Prakash surya/ Tata/BST. Note :- Unit of measurement of this item is 'Each' which shall comprise of removing, supply and fixing of one long rail and all as specified.

(iii) Removing of unserviceable short rail of charpoy of GI Pipe and fixing of short rail made out of broken long rail obtained from Srl item No 3 (ii) above threading/welding of both ends of short rail as per best trade practice duly painted with aluminum paint of welding portion and directed by Engr-in-charge. Note :- Unit of measurement of this item is 'Each' which shall comprise of removing and fixing of one short rail and all as specified.

(iv) Removing of old unserviceable 3 way elbow 32mm bore and supplied and fixed in position new elbow ISI marked all as per sample available in BSO's Yard complete all as approved by GE and as directed by Engr-in-charge

(v) Removing of old unserviceable check nuts and supplied and fixed in position new check nuts to Charpoy GI Pipe all as per sample available in BSO's Yard complete all as approved by GE and as directed by Engr-in-charge

(vi) Removing of unserviceable leg of charpoy of GI Pipe and fixing of leg made out of broken short rail obtained from Srl item No 3 (iii) above welding of both ends of leg as per best trade practice duly painted with aluminum paint of welding portion and directed by Engr-in-charge. Note :- Unit of measurement of this item is 'Each' which shall comprise of removing and fixing of one leg and all as specified above/directed by Engr-in-charge.

(vii) M & L for electric welding of long rails, short rails, legs of 32 mm bore GI tubing by continuous welding around the broken joints duly painted with aluminum paint of welding portion all as directed by Engr-in-charge. Note :- (i) Unit of measurement of this item is 'Each' which shall comprise of welding of each broken joint all as specified above/directed by Engr-in-charge. (ii) Welding rods shall be ISI marked.
