ROOF TREATMENT
Demolishing cement concrete 1:3:6 or richer mix (i/c equivalent design mix) manually/ by mechanical means including disposal of materials within 50 m lead as per direction of Engineer – In – Charge on floor.
Providing and laying water proofing treatment in bed of roof slab by applying cement slurry mixed with water proofing cement compound consisting of applying (a) First layerof slurry of cement @ 0.488 Kg/sqm mixed with water proofing cement compound @ 0.253 Kg/sqm. This layer to air cure for 4 hrs minimum, (b) 2nd layer of slurry of cement @ 0.242 kg/sqm mixed with water proofing cement compound @ 126 kg/sqm. This layer will be allowed to air cure for 4 hrs minimum followed with water curing.
Providing and laying of grading roof for water proofing treatment with cement concrete 1:2:4 with graded stone aggregates 20 mm nominal size.
Providing and laying APP (Atactic Polypropylene Polymer) 3 mm thick water proofing membrane, black finished reinforced with glass fible matt consisting of a coat of bitumen primer for bitumen membrane. The laying of membrane shall be got done through the authorised applicator of the manufacturer of membrane (MAKE : SIKA WP SHIELD 103 P) including painting with aluminium paint of approved brand.
Finishing walls with Acrylic Smooth exterior paint of required shade on old work (one or more coats applied @ 2.20 Kg/10 sqm) complete including removing white or colour wash by scrapping and sand papering and preparing the surface smooth including necessary repairs to scratches etc. complete.
Repair to plaster of thickness 12 mm to 20 mm in patches of area 2.5 sqm and under incl cutting the patch in proper shape, racking out joints and plastering the surface of the walls etc complete with CM (1:4) mix.
Providing and applying white cement based putty of average thickness 1 mm, of approved brand and manufacturer, over the plastered wall surface to prepare the surface even and smooth complete.
Distempering with oil bound washable distemper of approved brand on old surface (one or more coats) including removing oil bound washable distemper and preparing the surface smooth including necessary repairs to scratches etc. Complete.
