Edge Scraping of runway, PTT, Taxi tracks, Dispersal area by cutting cutting grass, vegetation, shrubs, bushes, small trees etc. manually to the entire satisfaction of Engineer-in-Charge including sweeping and removal of entire rubbish/cut grass/ vegetation etc. outside MoD land complete.

Cleaning of open drains/Nalas having size as under by removing grass/vegetation/sarkanda etc including removing of earth, mud, stone aggregate/boulders, brick bats or rubbish etc. filled inside /alongside the drain(s) to the entire satisfaction of Engineer-in-Charge and removal the same outside MoD land complete: -

Drains/Nalas having any depth but bottom width more than 400 mm

Drains/Nalas having any depth but bottom width less than 400 mm

NOTE: For measurement, area shall be measured as inner girth of drain i.e bottom and two sides of drain.

Clearnce of shoulders of air field by cutting grass, vegetation, shrubs, bushes, small trees etc.using petrol bush cutter of make STHL FS-40/0450 or equivalent, alongwith one operator and one helper on hourly basis from 0900 hrs onwards including sweeping and removal of entire rubbish/cut grass/ vegetation etc. outside MoD land complete.

Clearnce of shoulders of air field by cutting grass, vegetation, shrubs, bushes, small trees etc. using & proviiding tractor with mulcher alongwith one tractor driver and one helper on hourly basis from 0800 hrs, on hourly basis to the entire satisfaction of Engineer-in-Charge and removal of entire rubbish/cut grass/ vegetation etc. outside MoD land complete.

NOTES APPLICABLE FOR SERIAL ITEM No.3 & 4 HERE IN BEFORE:- (i) Contractor (himself or through accredit agent) shall visit the site alongwith necessary machinary & manpower indicated in serial item 3 & 4 above well in advance daily to get directions from Engineer-in-Charge to carrying out work as per time schedule indicated in serial item 3 & 4. (ii) Contractor shall provide minimum 03 Nos ( 2 working & one stand by) set of machinery and manpower. (iii) In case the contractor fails to provide the requisite machinery and labour within three days of written/verbal/telephonic/email demand, a penalty @ Rs.1000/- per day shall be recovered from the conractor.However in case of shortage of labour, the recovery shall be made @ minimum wages of male mazdoor, decleared by CLC plus 10% penalty. (iv) Working hours will be accounted from the actual starting time of work at site and not from the time of reporting at site. (v) Contractor can be directed to provide plougher /leveller (kraha)/trolley with tractor in lieu of mulcher as per users'/site requirements. (vi) To accounting the period for payment a Log book shall be maintained at site indicating working hours with location, date & time and shall be signed by contractor, concerned JE and Engineer-in-Charge. Log Book complete in all respects shall be produced before GE while claiming every RAR/Final Bill. (vii) In the autumn season i.e. Sep to Dec or any other period during the currency of contract when there is no growth of grass, vegetation, shrubs, bushes, small trees etc, the cutting and removal of the same shall only be done with written orders of GE, if required at site. No claim whatsoever shall be entertained on this account. (viii) The cut grass/vegetation/shrubs/bushes etc shall be sweeped with brooms from the area of runway and taxi track immediately after cutting.
