Material & Labour for Earthing complete with copper plate 600mm×600mm ×3 mm thick electrode buried directly in ground (earth pit not less than 3 metres deep below ground level) with top edge of the plate not less than 1.5 metres below normal ground level, connected to 20mm×3mm copper strip as earthing lead by means of bolts, nuts, check nuts and washers, galvanised iron or steel 15 mm bore galvanised iron medium grade watering pipe, 40 mm bore galvanised iron light grade pipe for earth strip protection, including all excavation earth work in any type of soil, PCC 1:3:6 type C1 for chamber of internal size 300 mm x 300 x 300 mm with 120 mm thick wall and 700 mm x 700 mm x 150 mm thick bed concrete, RCC 1:2:4,type B1, reinforced with welded steel wire fabric or XPM jali (weight not less than 4.00 Kg/Sqm) with cast iron frame, funnel with wire mesh, test point etc all as shown in electricalplate No. 5 connected to earthing test point all as specified or indicated including testing on completion, Complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-charge.

Note: (i) Earth strip and GI protection pipe up to length 7.5m shall deemed to be included in rate of above item. (ii) The earth resistance value shall be less than 1 Ohm. Failing to achieve the value contractor shall re-do without any extra cost. (iii) Earthing will be done in presence of Engineer-in-Charge.

Supply and fix copper strip 20mm x 3 mm with saddles & ceramic insulators and fixing screws etc for roof/down conductor above ground including jointing with rivets/ brazing etc all as directed by engineer-in-charge. Note:- (i) All the strip will be fixed with the help of ceramic insulators, nut& bolts in a proper manner all as directed and specified by Engineer-in Charge. (ii) All the joints will be connected by brazing work.

Supply and fix test point terminal block made of gun metal / phosphorus bronze/copper of size 75x75x25mm drilled and screwed including 3 Nos 8mm dia 25mm long hexagonal head screw all as specified and directed by Engr-in-charge

Supply and fix air termination single pointed Copper rod of size 12mm dia and 300mm long having one side threaded up to 30 mm all as specified and directed by Engr-in-charge. Note:- All the air termination will be fixed with the help of ceramic insulators, nut & bolts/ anchor fastner bolts, PCC foundatio in a proper manner all as directed and specified by Engineer-in Charge. (ii) Rate of ceramic insulators, nut& bolts / anchor fasteners & bolts is included in the unit rate quoted above. Nothing will be paid extra.

S & F GI tubing medium grade for mechanical protection of earth strip for lightning protection & by means of MS clamps with necessary bolts, nuts and washers etc complete all as specified of size 20 mm bore, Complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-charge. Note:- (i) GI pipe will be used to support the Air termination. (ii) There will be Insulators between the GI pipe and Airt ermination and copper strip. (iii) Rate of ceramic insulators, nut& bolts / anchor fasteners & bolts is included in the unit rate quoted above. Nothing will be paid extra. (iv) Necessary welding work/ bending / drelling work is included in the unit rate quoted above.

M&L for PCC 1:2:4, type B1, using 20mm graded crushed stone aggregate as in bed block coping cells etc. all as specified for base to errect the GI pipe and Air termination all as directed and specified by Engineer-in-Charge.
