M&L for chemical earthing using 3 Nos of corrosion resistant Earth electrode copper claded high tensile low carbon steel alloy having 17.20 mm dia and lenght 3.00 mtr long (minimum) The electrode shall be bonded with environment friendly earth enhancing BACKFILL compound including necessary testing complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge for the grid of three earthings for Equipments. Note :-(i) The Earthing shall comply to IS - 3043 (ii) Three Nos earthing shall be made for each grid and it shall be connected together for obtaining lowest earth resistance which shall be less than one ohm. (iii) Electrode and grid connecting copper strip of size 20 x 3.15 mm shall be welded using exothermic welding for interconnecting the earth electrodes and from earth to grid point up to15 m along with 40 mm dia GI light grade protection pipe. (iv) The carbon based compound shall have a resistance value of less than 01 ohm. The compound shall be filled up to required level ie (3 .0 mtr ) of earth pit (v) The dia of bore hole for earth electrode shall not be less than 100 mm depth of 3.0 mtr from GL and the extended rod shall be driven to a total depth of 3 mtr.

(vi) Provn of earth pit chamber of internal size 300 x 300 x 300 mm depth with cast Iron cover slab for each Earthing all as directed by Engineer-in-charge. (vii) Necessary earth work excavation in any type of soil, returning filling and making good by pouring water on the surrounding area complete for proper compaction of earth. (viii) All the joints Except test point shall be welded/ brazed properly and the copper earth strip whenever laid on the wall, floor etc shall be fixed on FRP/ DMC insulators not more than 500 mm apart also included. (ix) The contractor shall have to give guarantee for maintaining earth resistance of less than one ohm for a period of 05 years certified date of completion and to deposit security deposit for Rs 2000/- per each grid for a period of five years.

Supply & install copper strip of size 20 x 3.15 mm buried in ground / fixed on wall etc complete including exothermic welding at joints complate all asspecified and as directed.

S & F of GI pipe 40 mm bore, light grade with with all fittings and fixed complete to walls and ceilings or laid in floors, roads, paths etc complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply and fix out door type weather proof test point box with hinged door locking arrangement, made of 3.0 mm thick MS sheet of size 300 x 300 x 150 mm comprising of Copper Bus of size 25 x 6 mm 200 mm long mounted on FRP/DMC insulators, duly fixed inside the box mounted on 40 x 40 x 4mm angle iron legs (02 Nos) with a clearance of at least 0.30 mtrs above GL and 0.30 mtrs below ground including PCC foundation and providing data plate of size 600 mm x 450 mm made out of 3 mm thick MS sheet fixed at top of the junction box on angle frame with nut bolt washers, duly painted with two coats of synthetic enamel paint of approved shade for identification of different earthings, over a coat of red oxide primer including digitally writing the Earthing data on seven lines with suitable size letters and users recommended colour complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply and Fixing of Air Termination, Single pointed, copper rod 12 mm dia and 300 mm long complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply and Fix DMC / FRP insulators, of suitable size to seperate the earth strips from the walls, duly screwed on the walls and making holes in the earth strips by drilling and fixing the earth strip rigidly with the insulators with GI bolts, nuts, washers etc complete all as specifed and as directed.
