MAINTENANCE OF AIR FILELD AREA AND RUNWAY SHOULDERS AT AIRFORCE STATION YELAHANKA

Maintenance of airfield area/ runway shoulders by using manual labour for cutting of grass upto height of 3 inches from the runway shoulders and cleared zones of runway and taxi track both undershoot area,sign boards,DTGMs around SWTs, Around WDIs,runway lights and taxi tracks lights , all papi units, over drains,chambers, route markers all as directed by Engr-in-charge Note:- (i) The labours shall be employed on both north and south side of runway within four feet radius of taxi track light and DTGM. (ii) Minimum 9(NINE) labours and one supervisor shall be employed 8Hrs shift daily except on sundays and holidays for grass cutting and deweeding with necesary tools and equipments. The rate for tools and equipments deemed to be included in the quoted rate. (iii) Areas around two nos runway controller huts are maintained by grass cutting minimum four meter all round the each controller hut. (iv) Two grass cutting machine of Make:STIHL and Model No FS 400 shall be provided by the contractor for garss cutting/weed cutting and the rate for the same deemed to be included in the quoted rate. (v) Required petrol with oil make :Servo ( 1.5 Ltrs /Day/Machine) for running of grass cutting machine shall be provided by the contractor and rate deemed to be included in the quoted rate. (vi) The rates quoted deemed to be included cost of uniform ,shoes etc. (vii) Daily attendance register will be maintained by the contractor in consultation with concerned JE and get signed from Engr-in-charge atleast once in a week. (viii) Daily logbook to be maintained by the contractor for grass cutting machine. (ix) Supervisor shall give the report on daily basis(Morning and evening) to the concerned JE E/M and Engr-in-charge and In charge of runway shoulder (x) The contractor shall issue the uniform and shoe alongwith name of labour at the front and name of company at their back of the uniform to identify them easily.The contractor shall get the approval for uniform and shoes tht has to be provided for the labours in writing from AGE E/M before procurement.
