Supply, install, test and commissioning of minimum 50 KVA/40 KW DG set diesel engine driven Generating set with alternator out put Voltage 415 Volts +/- 1% at set value of 415 V at a frequency 50HZ +/- 0.5% with STD inbuilt control panel and AMF panel to be errected inside acoustice enclosure (NTP for suitable for installing at 2ASD , Bhaduriya Complex,Pathankot), all mounted in acoustic enclosure and Control panel as per manufacturers design and specification as per approved CPCB-02 norms confirming to the detailed specifications appended below :-Make : CUMMINS- STAMFORD / KIRLOSKAR GREEN /CATTERPILLER or equivalent approved make of HQ CEWC

(I) ENGINE

(a) General: Suitable four stroke compressed ignition, radiator water cooled,Turbocharged aspiration, continuous duty with 10% overload capacity for 1 hour in 12 hours continuous running, with 50°C intake air temperature, CPCB-02 Euro emission engine ,turbocharged four stroke engine developing minimum 83 HP @ 1500 RPM under NTP conditions, coupled to alternator mounted on Channel Iron base frame with in built fuel tank of minimum capacity suitable for 12 Hrs continous running at 75% load. The prime mover provided should be as per IS specifications.

(b) Air intake system : Should comprise of dry type intake air filter mounted on engine, one in number vacuum indicator mounted on intake piping.

(c ) Exhaust System: Should comprise of one exhaust manifold, dry type, mounted on engine, one exhaust residential type silencer which should be positioned in such a way that the exhaust gas is not sucked by the fan on the radiator, thereby affecting the cooling system. The silencer should cater to the noise level tolerance prescribed in the relevant IS/BS. The silencer should be provided with flaps with a provision so that it will open only when the generator is running. The complete exhaust system shall be properly supported so that entire lot of the exhaust system shall not fall on the DG Set.

(d) Fuel System: Should comprise of disposal type element fuel filter, pressure type fuel pump mounted on engine, non return check valve in fuel supply and drain lines, wire braided hose between filter and pump, fuel system with suitable capacity electronic governor and engine mounted actuator. The fuel tank must have proper locking arrangement with level indicator and to be integrated with base frame.

(e) Cooling System: Should comprise of radiator designed, residential type silencer and tested for 50o C ambient temperature with 7 PSI pressure cap mounted on base rail. The thermostat installed in the engine coolant outlet, fresh water pump mounted on engine, fan and fan hub mounted on engine. A reservoir of 50% of radiator capacity to replenish coolant by gravity (as and when required) is also to be provided.

(f) Lubricating System: Should comprise of lubricating oil sump mounted on engine, gear driven lub oil pump mounted on engine, lubricating oil cooler-fresh water cooled integral with engine cool out circuit mounted on engine, oil filter lubricating with cap and lubricating oil dip stick for oil level check mounted on engine. The system should be capable of feeding lube oil to the main end & large end bearings, cam shaft, valve rocker gear and all moving parts.

(g) Starting System: Should comprise of suitable voltage DC electrical starter mounted on engine, with suitable maintenance free battery of capacity 12 V DC -2 Nos with suitable AH to be mounted in trays (having rubber insulation) on the main frame. It should have the provision to charge the battery from external sources during static condition and while running of the generator.

(h) AC Generator : The generator shall be horizontal and foot mounted,minimum 50 KVA, 415 Volts, 3 phase, 4 wire, 0.8 PF, 50 HZ, self excited, self regulated, brushless AC generator, suitable for an ambient temperature of 50° C with IP-23 enclosure class H insulation and temperature rise limited to class H as per following technical details

(i) Type, Brush less AC Generators

(ii) Output rating minimum 50 KVA/40 KW

(iii) Output Voltage: 415 ± 1% under all loading conditions and with maximum voltage Dip at full load 0.8 PF shall be < 20% as per OEM design.

(iv) Output frequency 50Hz ±0.5% up to 0.8 lagging.

(v) No of Phases: 3 phase with 01 Neutral (4 wire)

(vi) Mounting : Horizontal foot mounted.

(vii) Enclosure : Minimum IP-23 / Drip proof and screen protected.

(viii) Electronic Automatic voltage regulator with response time < 75 m sec and + range of voltage adjustment.

(ix) Class of insulation-'H'

(x) Short circuit withstand 3 times rated current for 3 secs and overload withstand capacity for continuous duty with 10% overload capacity for 1 hour in 12 hours continuous running, & 150% overload for 30 sec running (xi) Overspeed capacity 1800 RPM for 2 min

NOTE : Following shall be deemed to be included in cost quoted :-

(i) AMF Panel indoor type with IP-43 for minimum 50 KVA DG set

(ii) Suitable size RCC cement concrete foundation platform of canopy base with height as required at site to mount the generator as per manufacturer's instructions/ recommendations. The cost of foundation bed incl earth work and dismantling existing CC and foundation etc is deemed to be included in the quoted rate.

(iiI) Connecting cables, from existing panels and connecting cables , cables glands, cable lugs to new panel complete with all necessary accessories.

(iv) Install on the foundation, connecting fuel lines, cable etc.

(v) Test and commissioning complete

(vi) The cost of control cables from engine Control panel to AMF panel, transportation, installation, testing & commissioning etc shall be deemed to be included in the cost quoted.

(j) BASE FRAME: Shall be stand by and fabricated with CRCA sheet metal which shall be suitable to mount the engine, alternator and radiator, channel width of base frame shall be adequate to accommodate anti-vibration pads.

(l) AMF Panel :

Auto mains failure (AMF) panel, floor mounted type, vertical, factory made oudoor type, double door , canopy, fabricated out of 2.0mm thick CRCA sheet with angle iron base frame , dust and vermine proof, suitable for voltage 415 V Three Phase 4 wire, 50 HZ AC supply, weather proof, with IP-43 protection, with separate hinge door for each compartment & locking arrangement, with back door openable (Screwed), legs grouted in PCC complete including painting with two coats of epoxy powder paint over a coat of primer after under going a rigorous metal treatment process involving alkaline degreasing, descaling in dilute sulphuric acid or any other acid and phosphate and with aluminium busbar (TPN) of suitable rating, suitable double compression copper cable glands and including provn of the following suitable for minimum 50 KVA DG set.

Specially designed to meet CPCB norms 75dBA @ 1 mtr at 75% load under free field conditions. The Acoustic enclosure is made of CRCA sheets and a structural/sheet metal base with high quality noise absorbent and fire-retardant grade acoustic insulation material (P.U.Foam) complying to IS 8183 with two point lifting handles.

(a) Internal Lighting: Tube lights with protective mesh around it to be fitted inside the container for proper illumination

(b) Doors : The enclosure will be provided with suitable doors on the side and rear to enter the enclosure during operation and maintenance. All doors will be provided with lock and handles for opening/ closing the doors, retainers for holding the panel door.

(p) Painting Scheme

ISS shade 220 olive green 1994 or all as per manufacturers specifications

(q) Lifting/ Transportation arrangements :-

Container with suitable corners will be provided to lift the DG set along with container. This is suitable for road/ rail/ sea transportation.

(r) Trials:-

Trials on site should be given as per load tests prescribed and all functional trials should be shown.

Note : (i) The Engine, alternator, Control Panel, AMF Panel, Acoustic enclosure shall be integrated unit sourced shall be from OEM only as per Make given in Sch 'A'.(ii) The rate quoted inclusive for supplying next nearest higher capacity as per OEM design.

Notes :- (i) Testing of DG set shall carried by representative of AO. The cost of POL & resistive load bank required for testing the DG Set is deemed to be included in quoted rates. The DG Set shall run for a period of 12 Hours continuosly out of which 15 minutes on No Load , 2 Hrs 15 minutes of 25% rated load, 2 hrs on 50% rated load , 2 Hrs 30 minutes on 75 % rated load, 4 Hrs on rated full load, 1 Hrs on 110% rated full load.

(ii) First filling of coolant, Engine Oil, lubricants and fuel etc should be arranged by contractor for complete testing and quoted rate deemed to be inclusive for the same.

Material and labour for earthing with copper earth plate electrode of size 600 mm x600 mm x3.0 mm thick buried directly in ground to a depth not less than 2.25 mtr deep below normal ground level with top edge of the earth plate not less than 1.5 mtr deep below normal ground level connected with 20 x 3 mm copper strip as earth lead electrode by means of nuts, bolts and washers, GI medium grade pipe 40 mm bore protection pipe upto test point, 20mm dia GI light grade watering pipe with funnel and wire mesh, RCC pit cover of size 300x300x40mm reinforced with XPM having weight not less than 4Kg/sqmm including 6mm thick MS bar handle made to shape, PCC pit with 1:3:6 type C1 with angle iron frame made of angle iron of size 40x40x4mm, adequate qty of charcoal dust and salt layers all around the earth plate, excavation , earth work in any type of soil, removal of excavated soil and returning filling in all as required at site complete all as specified in plate No 3 of SSR Part-I and all as specified or indicated including testing on completion.NOTE :-Rates inclusive of necessary excavation in any type of soil, earth work, PCC pit, RCC cover, funnel with watering pipe, copper earth strip upto 7.5 m long for connecting to test point etc. all as required at site for complete earthing).

Supply & fix copper strip 20mm x 3 mm buried in ground

Supply, laying,testing and commission of LT UG cable, XLPE Insulated ,screened, PVC bedded, galvanized steel strip or wire armoured, electric power cables (heavy duty) 1100 Volts grade with stranded aluminium conductor of sizes 70 Sqmm 3.5 Core complete all as specified and directed. Note: Earth work ( Excavation, Returning & refilling and removal), sand cushining , cable protection cover, GI protection pipe shall be measured and paid for seperately under respective item of Sch 'A'.

Material, labour , testing & commissioning of cable end termination in door/out door, heat shrinkable type suitable for XLPE/ PVC cables of size 25 Sqmm to 50 sqmm 3½ or 4 core with working voltage 1100 volts make: Denson/ M Seal/Raychem.

Material, labour , testing & commissioning of cable end termination in door/out door, heat shrinkable type suitable for XLPE/ PVC cables of size 70 Sqmm to 150 sqmm 3½ or 4 core with working voltage 1100 volts make: Denson/ M Seal/Raychem.

Excavation in trenches in any type of soil n exc 1.5 mtr in width and n. exc 1.5 mtr in depth and getting out all as required for laying of cables,pipeline, foundation filling of poles or stays or any other indicated positions complete all as specified and directed. (cable shall be laid 60 cm below ground level )

Returning filling in including spreading, leveling ,and well ramming, in layers not exceeding 25 cm each layer of any kind of soil.

All as per item No .08 here in before but exc 1.5 mtr or part there of in depth beyond 1.5 mtr depth.

Removing surplus excavated material from site not exceeding 50 mtrs from starting point and depositing where directed at level not exceeding 1.5 mtr above the starting point.

M & L for good quality dry sand cushioning to under ground electric cable on layer of 8 cm thick before laying the cable and second layer of 15 cm thick after laying the cable all as specified in clause 19.75 of MES Schedule part-I (2009) Note : Sand shall be fined sand as specifed and punned thickness shall be measured and paid.

Supply and laying sub class 'B' bricks of old size (230x115x75 mm) or of size locally available , laid along alignment of cable as protection to cable in trenches complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge

Supply and fixing GI tubing light grade ISI marked with requisite fittings laid in trenches or crossing roads/paths/culverts/along poles/walls complete all as specified and directed for 40 mm dia size.

Cutting the tarmac / hard standings and excavating in trenches across the road for laying cable including making good the excavated portion by means of PCC 1:3:6, type C1 matching with the surroundings all as directed.

Fixing only serviceable street light fittings of wattage 150 W any type HPSV/MH to street light pole of any location exceeding 7.0 m retrieved from item No.1 above including checking, inspecting, testing and commmissioning complete all as directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Supply & fixing LED street light fittings on rail/ steel tubular poles of height not exceeding 7.5 mtrs, comprising of epoxy powder coated housing, enclosed with glass cover in frame, of minimum wattage 72 Watts (with total lumen output not less than 6840 lumens and suitable wattage for efficiency not less than 100 lumens/Watt) with ingress protection IP 65/66 and SPD of capacity 5 KV etc including necessary clamps etc complete and testing on completion all as specified and as directed. Note: The GI pipe bracket, PVC insulated 3 core 1.5 Sqmm copper wire if required will be measured and paid separately under relevant schedule items

Note : (i) MS Clamp fittings with nut bolts and GI bracket will be measured and paid separately.(ii) Minimum 2 years guarantee period of LED fittings (iii) Driver shall be IP 66 degree of protection potted seal type with inbuilt SPD and external SPD of capacity 10 KV to be provided in addition to inbuilt. (iv) Power factor more than 0.9 (v) Contractor shall submit LM 79 and LM 80 test reports from manufacturer from approved laboratory. The luminaries/fittings shall comply the following:- (a) Potted type driver with Driver efficacy : >85%(constant current driver), THD < 10%, (b) LED driver current <750 mA. (c) Efficacy of LED fixture > 95 lm/watt, (d) Efficacy of LED chip - > 130 lm/watt. (e) Surge protection : min 4KV& above as per IEC standards inbuilt in driver and external SPD of capacity 10 KV. (f) Working humidity : 10 % to 90% RH.

(g) LED make: Nichia/Philips lumiled/Cree/ Osram/Seoul. (h)LED Life shall be 50,000 Hrs at 70% lumens. (j) CRI > 70 (k) Lens: Each LED shall be of High Power (1 to 3 Watt only) with mandatory modular lens (l) Working temperature 0 to 50 Degree Centigrade. M&L for bracket for street light fitting made out of 40 mm bore pipe light grade GI tube 1.2 Meter length bent to shape required, fixed with and including MS flat iron clamps, bolts, nuts, washers duly painting the bracket with two coats of aluminium paint over a coat of zinc chrome primer complete.

Supply, laying and testing of LT UG cable, XLPE Insulated ,screened, PVC bedded, galvanized steel strip or wire armoured, electric power cables (heavy duty) 1100 Volts grade with stranded aluminium conductor of following sizes complete all as specified and directed including dismantling old defective one. S&F loop-in/loop-out box of internal size 250x210x115 mm made out of FRP(Hot moulded type) with weather proof canopy and locking screws along with with 5/6 Amps MCB - 01 No, 50 Amps rated 3 pole connector- 01 Nos, neutral link mounted and Din rail suitable size for mounting MCB/Connector etc complete in the box, duly fixed to to steel tubular/rail/PCC/RCC pole using 25 x 3mm FI clamp, including suitable gland and lugs for connecting cable complete all as directed including dismantling old one.

Supplying and laying of PVC connections 15mm size with PTMT nuts of length 450mm complete all as specified.

S&F angle /stop valve , cast copper alloy screwed down high pressure with handle screwed both ends for iron pipe or for union of 15 mm dia of ISI Marked.

S&F bib taps cast copper alloy with capstan head CP screwed down high pressure, with or without lettered Hot or Cold of size 15mm dia of ISI Marked.

Supply & Fixing for distribution board iron clad, double door with IP-54 1K-09 protection suitable for MCCB as incomer and MCB as outgoing 415 Volts 3 phase 50 C/s 4 way, complete with appropriate size copper bus bar and neutral link complete including with one MCCB 4 pole 415 Volts 100 Amps rating with rupturing cap 16 KA of the same make as of distribution board & including cutting chases to wall for fixing DB and making good the disturbed wall surface all as required at site and as directed. Note : The quoted rate inclusive of cutting of cement concrete/brick wall for dismantling old one and making good the disturbed surfaces complete.

Supply & Fixing for sheet metal enclosure MCB distribution board, double door with IP-43 protection single phase 240 volts 8 way, including suitable size copper bus bar and neutral link fixed flush in wall including chases wall for fixing DB and making good distributed wall surfaces to match with existing specification . Note : The quoted rate inclusive of cutting of cement concrete/brick wall for dismantling old one and making good the disturbed surfaces complete.

Supply & Fixing MCB single pole 240 volts any rating from 6 to 32 amps, with rupturing capacity 10 KA,C curve type, including providing thimbles for out going cables.

Supply & Fixing for MCB SPN 240 volts any rating from 20 to 32 amps, with rupturing capacity 10 KA,C curve type, including providing thimbles for out going cables.

M & L for submain wiring with two single core FRLS PVC insulated flexible copper conductor cable of size 4 sqmm and one single core FRLS PVC insulated flexible copper conductor cable green colour of size 4 Sqmm as earth lead in and including concealed PVC conduit and making good the disturbed wall surfaces to match with existing specification all as required at site or directed. Note : The quoted rate inclusive for the following :- (a) Proper colour coding is to be followed as per IS Specification. (b) Test certificates of cables to be submitted before commencement of work/ claiming for payment.(c) wiring shall be concealed/ on surface with rigid PVC conduit medium grade as per site requirement.(d) Electric Wiring test sheet before and after completion of wiring to be submitted before claiming payment.

Note: Earth work ( Excavation, Returning & refilling and removal), sand cushioning , cable protection cover, GI protection pipe shall be measured and paid for seperately under respective item of Sch 'A'.
