COMPREHENSIVE REPAIR WORKS OF E/M NATURE LIKE REPAIRS TO MAINT OF CTS 22KV INDOOR OUTDOOR BREAKERS VCBS DEHYDRATION FILTRATION MAINT OF TRANSFORMERS AND OTHER MISC WORKS AT NAVAL STATION KARANJA

Disconnecting HT/LT and earth termination connections from transformer, taking down the transformers from plinth/platform and loading into the vehicle; transporting the same to workshop for carrying out necessary repairs and back ,reconnecting HT/LT connections at site and charging the transformer on load, commissioning and testing including meggar test at site all as directed by Engineer - in - Charge

Draining out transformer oil, dismantling top cover alongwith conservator tank, taking out core assembly after disconnecting connections, rewinding with same size and type of copper conductor and number of turns and insulating material such as paper insulator sleeves, heating etc. Putting back the core assembly into the tank after removing sludge and replacement of HT & LT bushing complete with brass terminal, refixing top cover and conservator including replacement of gasket, nut, bolts & washers (filling new transformer oil having 60 KV dielectric strength and carring out type tests as per IS 2026 in presence of Engineer - in - charge for the following capacity :- Note : (i) New transformer oil and its filling shall be measured and paid separately under relevant items of schedule. (ii) Cost of rewinding material, insulation material and spares of transformer shall be measured and paid separately under relevant item of Sch . (iii) Replacement of spares will be on required basis all as directed by Engr-inCharge. a) 62 to 250 KVA

b) 315 to 630 KVA

c) 750 to 1250 KVA

Disconnecting HT/ LT and earth termination connections from Trolley Mounted Transformer (500 KVA Cap.) and towing the same to a location, within 5 KMs, as directed by Engr-in-Charge including M&L for making of HT/ LT and earth termination connections of the Trolley Mounted Transformer to the existing electric distribution system in Indoor/Outdoor Substation complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge. NOTE - (a). Trolley Mounted transformer will be issued to contractor by MES however Contractor has to make his own arrangements of towing vehicle. (b). The job also includes disconnecting of HT/ LT and earth termination connections of Trolley Mounted Transformer and towing the same to a location as directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Testing of transformers of various capcities installed at various locations at Naval Station Karanja by performing following tests - 1.IR Value on L.V & H.V side using 500 V & 5KV Megger respectively. 2.Ratio on all the taps. 3.Magnetic Balance tests on L.V & H.V. 4.Vector group. 5.Magnetizing current. 6.Winding Resistance Test on H.V & LV terminals. Note : (i) Contractor should make his own arrangement of testing equipments and electric supply so required (ii) A detailed Test Report should be submitted to Engr-in-Charge.

S & F in repairs Dial type temperature gauge 100mm dia with dual calibration in degree Celsius and degree Fahrenheit, range 0 to 100 c and equivalent degree Fahrenheit complete with capability tube and sensor suitable for transformer of any rating as directed by Engineer-in-Charge

Supply and filling new transformer oil having 60 KV di-electric strength and conforming to IS : 335 for replacement or topping up to oil level mark at the conservator.

Material for rewinding of transformer core with same numbers/grade of copper enamelled conductor with same size of turns as per manufactures' specification and testing and commissioning transformers after repair.

Material for reinsulation of copper windings (LT and HT), Class B, with Electrical Grade Insulating Kraft paper all confirming to IEC-60554-3-5 (1984).
