TENDER FOR CASTING AND PLACING OF RCC CENTRE MEDIAN BLOCKS IN FIRE FIGHTING ROAD, WEST QUAY II ROAD, SOUTH SPRING HEAVEN ROAD, CITPL ROAD AND WHEREVER REQUIRED FROM GATE NO 1 TO GATE NO 10 IN INNER HARBOUR AREA.

1.Lifting,Loading, conveying and dumping the existing damaged RCC centre median blocks in one place and dismantling the blocks without disturbing the traffic movement and segregating the steel, debris and transporting the debris. The retrieved steel will be transport and handing over to RSD yard including all labour, tools, equipments, crane, transport weighment, fuel etc., complete.

2.Providing and laying Reinforced cement concrete of mix 1:1.5:3 (1 Cement: 1.5 crushed stone sand : 3 hard granite graded stone aggregate of 20 mm nominal size) in volumetric proportions for RCC Precast road centre median blocks of size 2500mmx300mmx400mm with providing holes of 4 Nos for lifting/ tying and top edge chambering properly including necessary shuttering, mixing, transporting, placing, vibrating, compacting, finishing etc., and stacking all as per relevant specification as specified in the drawing and as directed at site including cement, all labour, materials, curing, fuels, equipments, tools, tackles etc., complete. Note: Supplying and fabrication of steel reinforcement will be measured and paid separately under the relevant item.

3.Supplying, fabricating and placing in position HYSD (Fe 500/550 D grade) of thermo mechanicaly treated (TMT) steel bars conforming to IS 1786 as reinforcement for all RCC centre median precast blocks works and wherever required , including handling, cutting, bending and tying with 1.25mm dia black annealed steel binding wire including placing all as per as per relevant specification, drawings and as directed, including all materials, labour, tools, equipment, transport, fuel, lifting, transport, fuel etc., complete. Note: The rate shall be inclusive of cost of reinforcement steel, binding wire and fabrication charge etc., complete. Binding wire will not be measured for payment purpose.

4.Lifting, transporting and placing the New/ Old RCC precast centre median blocks to correct alignment and position on the road as directed at site and wherever required without damaging the RCC blocks and any other structure and as directed at site including all labour, tools, fuel equipments, crane etc., complete.

5.Supplying, transporting, fabricating and fixing interlocking arrangements using 12mm GI round rod for interlocking the centre median blocks binding, welding including cutting, bending to required shape and connecting the RCC road centre median blocks at ends etc.,as directed at site including all labour, materials, tools, welding, equipments, Galvanizing etc., complete.

6.Preparing the surfaces of existing/ new concrete surfaces of centre median blocks and painting with two coats of synthetic enamel paint (Asian or equivalent) to give an even shade over one coat of primer, all as directed at site of work including all, labour, materials, brushes, tools, tackles, equipments, etc., complete.

7.Loading and transporting the dismantled centre median blocks debris from port area to out side port premises within a lead of 10Kms including all labour, vehicles, equipments , transport , fuel, tools, tackles etc., complete Note: 1.The tenderer shall maintain trip sheets in triplicate in port’s approved format at his own cost for the quantity of debris transported. 2.Payment will be based on lorry cubical content. 3.No deduction of voids for debris will be made. 4.However, the final quantity will be restricted to actual quantity of debris.
