Providing and applying tack coat using hot straight run bitumen of Viscosity grade VG-10 (80/100) conforming IS:73 including heating the bitumen, spraying the bitumen with mechanically operated spray unit fitted on bitumen boiler, cleaning and preparing the existing Runway /Road surface as per specifications complete in all respects as per direction of Engineer-In-Charge. If the actual quantity of bitumen varies from the the quantity assumed above, necessary cost adjustment for deviation in the quantity of bitumen shall be done as per rate in actual supply voucher from nearest refinery at the time of execution. The rate of VG-10 bitumen exclusive of GST shall only be considered for payment. a) 0.35Kg/Sqm on existing bituminous surface.
Providing and laying of Hot Dense Bituminous Macadam (DBM) using crushed stone aggregate of quality, size and grading as specified and cement filler of quality as specified and and viscosity grade bitumen(supplied in bulk) in proportions as per job mix formula and laid to spcified levels, grade and camber as per specification, drawings and as directed by the Engineer-in-charge including compacting with 8-10 tonne, preferably vibratory road roller of adequate capacity to achieve the specified values of compaction, strength, surface accuracy complete [For tendering purpose VG bitumen of grade VG-30 content shall be taken as 110 kg/m3 of mix supplied in bulk produced by Govt. Painting runway/taxi track/apron marking with adequate no. of coats to give uniform finish with road marking paint of superior make as approved by the Engineer-in-charge i/c cleaning the surface of all dirt, scales, oil, grease and other foreign material etc. and lining out complete.

Providing, laying and fixing of self-adhesive glass grid (100kn/m) , fiber glass of mesh size not exceeding 12.5mm x 12.5mm. The self-adhesive glass Fiber reinforcement after laying over the runway pavement shall be pressed down fully with a rubber tired roller and glued to pavement surface. The grid being self-adhesive does not require tack coat. The longitudinal overlap should not be less than 250mm and transverse overlap i.e. at the end of the roll should not be less than 150 mm. The item should be completed in all respect as per manufacturer's specification to the satisfaction of Engineer-in-charge.
Construction of embankment with earth obtained from borrow pits with all lifts and leads, transporting to site, spreading, grading to required slope, watering and compacting to meet requirement of table 300-2 of MORTH with CBR >5 . 1.The item includes the cost of all the operations involved to complete the job as given under section 305 of MORTH Specifications including the cost of all materials, machinery, tools, plants, labour and royality to complete the job as per approved drawings and as directed by the Engineer in charge. 2. Supply of Cast iron Isolating Transformer housing box, water tight round type, metal container of outside dia 330 mm, height 450 mm made of 10 mm thick cast iron moulding all round, except the top surface, which is 15 mm thick cast iron moulding suitable to receive a light fitting base plate/cover plate on the top and underground housing associated with transformer power cable and having one/two nos holes as per site requirement on the periphery centre, 75 mm above bottom surface suitable to receive 50 mm B class GI pipes including check nuts as required and another hole at 175 mm from the bottom of CI box to receive one no. 15 mm dia B class GI pipe and check nut as required. The box should have two SS earth bolts of M10 x 40 mm tapped inside near the hole (4" away from the hole centre) and having a drain hole at the bottom suitably tapped to receive 15 mm dia, 'B' class GI pipe and having clear opening of 220 mm at the top surface and 6 Nos. M10 tapped hole having centre to center distance of 260 mm alongwith bolts as required as per the drawings.
Installation of Cast iron isolating transfer housing box of size 330 mm dia and 450 mm deep as per drawing including excavation of surface, cement concrete all round, providing 300 mm long 15 mm dia 'B' class GI pipe in the bottom surface for drainage of water, cutting & threading of pipe, adjustment of housing with thedolite etc, refilling the side surface, sloping and making good the same as original as required.

Careful dismantling of existing shallow base of diffirent sizes through machine cutting of runway/taxiway surface, refilling the surface through bitumin, making good the same and shifting & submission of shallow base to AAI store etc. complete as required.
