Collection and testing of water sample from various sites under SJPNL SH Collection of water sample including collection from various sites under SJPNL and depositing it at Pollution Control board PCB for 12 months

Collection and transprotant of water sample from sampleing location to the Polution control board (PCB)Lab in glass bottles /containers as prescribed in CPHEEO manual guidelines and other relevant IS codes related to sampling of water and IS:10500 drinking water spccifications including all other accessories required for the same . The collection staff should be well trained and periodically updated time to time in PCB lab for this job. The sampling locations for collection the water sample is as follows :- Every day one sample from sanjauli reservoir (inlet and outlet), 1 sample from kasumpti reservoir (outlet only), 1 sample ridge reservoir (outlet only), randomly from outlet of all the 41 sectoral tanks at various locations in shimla in rotation so as to cover all these tanks twice in a month and tail ends on daily basis from different loctions in such a manner that no area is left uncovered in a month i.e 20 sample per day from all the locations for 12 months .The same should be deposited in PCB lab within 3 hours in a vehicle equipped to maintain the cold chain or as per the direction of Engineer -in- Charge which includes deployment of staff i.e. lab assistant and lab helper for collection and testing of water sample from various sites under SJPNL.

Sampling for bacteriological/ virological testing of water sample.

On site testing of water sample for 5 physical parameters : Ph value, Temperature,Tubidity, Residual chlorine & Total dissolved solids (TDS)
