Supply, installation¸ testing & commissioning of waterless and maintenance free earthing with earth (grounding) electrodes and PCC pit with cover. (a) Earth Electrode: 17.2 mm dia copper bonded MS rod shall be in-situ cast in electrically conductive concrete earth enhancing material mixed with cement. Size of embedding of electrically conductive concrete earth enhancing material shall be 85 mm dia. The electrode of 3000mm should be able to withstand a fault current upto 35kA (Peak) for 1 second duly tested from recognized National Test laboratories like CPRI, ERDA, ERTL, MSME etc (not more than 18 months old). The ratio of mixing of conductive concrete to cement should be 3:1. Other hardware like nut, bolts and washers should be of stainless steel. (b) Earth Enhancing material should have the following features:- should have the following features:- 1. Ultra low resistivity. 2. pH should be neutral range (7+1). 3. Should be RoHS complaint. 4. Sulphur content should be less than 1%. 5. Should create homogeneous mass with Portland cement to form concrete mix required for embedding of conductor. 6. Should be remaining effective for a very long period. 7. Should not corrode the embedded metal conductor of the electrode. 8.Including 7 mtrs GI strip of size 32 x6 mm for connecting. (c) PCC Pit: Earthing inspection / test link pit (round) with cover with PVC/HRP/Cement concrete cover of at least 250mm depth should be provided. Note: Test report of earth electrode from a recognize National Test laboratories like FYI CPRI, ERDA, ERTL, MSME etc should be submitted as proof.

M&L earthing complete with galvanised steel earth plate electrode of size 600 x 600 x 6 mm thick buried directly in ground in vertical position (earth pit not less than 2.25 m deep below the normal ground level) with top edge of the earth plate not less than 1.5 m below normal ground level, connected to galvanised earth strip of size 25 x 4 mm by means of bolts, nuts, check nuts and washers of galvanised iron or steel, all as shown in electrical plate no. 3 of SSR Part - 1, connected to earthing test point and complete all as specified and directed. Note:- The unit rate shall also include for earth work in any type of soil, PCC 1:3:6 type C-1 (using 20 mm graded crushed stone aggregate) earth chamber, RCC 1:1.5:3, type A-1 cover slab, 40 mm thick reinforced with 6 mm dia TMT bar @ 150 mm C/C both ways, 10 mm dia plain bar lifting handle embedded in cover slab, 20 mm bore medium grade GI watering pipe, 15 mm bore GI light grade earth lead protection pipe, funnel, wire mesh, copper lugs, charcoal and common salt in alternate layer etc.

S&F Earth continuity conductor or main earthing lead buried in ground or fixed on poles/transformers for earthing etc. of size 32mm x 6mm galvanised iron strip including making lap joints with GI nuts, bolts& two nos washers complete all as directed & specified.

S&F Earth continuity conductor or main earthing lead buried in ground or fixed on poles/transformers for earthing etc. of size 25mm x 4 mm aluminium strip including making lap joints with GI nuts, bolts& two nos washers complete all as directed & specified.

S&F Earth continuity conductor or main earthing lead buried in ground or fixed on poles/transformers for earthing etc. of size 20mm x 3 mm Copper strip including making lap joints with GI nuts, bolts& two nos washers complete all as directed & specified.
