Collection of data (including subsurface), analysis, compilation of reports (including water quality), design of structures of all subproject components (excluding superstructure of OHRs), preparation of estimates of both civil & Mechanical part of the entire project “Surface Water Based Piped Water Supply Scheme for Nandigram-I, Nandigram-II, Chandipur & Nandakumar Block under Purba Medinipur District” for Phase-II & compilation & integration with Phase-I.

Mobilisation charges of all tool and plants along with accessories, materials labour, supervision etc. a site of work required in connection with boring and testing work, including setting up boring rig and shifting to different bore hole points etc. and also including withdrawl of the same from the site after completion of work, complete as per direction of E.I.C. a) Detailed investigation (payment will be made after successful completion of work)

Labour for making borehole of 150 mm to 250 mm dia. by any standard method to any depth below ground level/bed level in all kinds of soil like clay, silt, sand, stiff clay , mixed soil etc. except rocks (for the purpose of colleting disturbed and undisturbed soil samples, conduction standard penetration test at suitable intervals etc.) including preparation and submission of bore log as per IRC : 75 & 78 and clause 2400 of specifications for Roiad and Bridge works (5th Revision) pubIished by IRC, and also including hire charges of tools and plants complete as er direction of hire charges of tools and plants complete as per dircctiobn of Engineering -In- Charge. i) When casing pipe is used to prevent collapse of bore hole(casing pipe to be finally withdrawn).

a) depth 0 mtr. To 10 mtr. (for 3 nos. bore)

b) Depth greater than 10 mtr. and upto 20 mtr.(for 3 nos. bore)

c) Depth greater than 20 mtr. and upto30 mtr.(for 3 nos. bore)

Labour for collection sample from the Bore hole made as per B-a including hire charges of tools and plants complete as per direction of EIC (Disturbed sample )

Labour for collection of undisturbed soil sample from the bore hole to be made complete in all respect including hire charges of tools and plants complete as per direction of EIC.

Labour for standard penetration Tests (S.P.T.) by Split Spoon Sampler in the bore hole as per IS: 2131 including hire charges of tools and plants complete as per direction of EIC.

Performing Laboratory Test / Investigation on disturbed/undistrrbed soil samples as pr stndard procedure including tabulation of test results in prescribed proforma as per direction of E.I.C. for detailed.

c) Grain size analysis by Sieving as per IS-2720 ( Part-IV )

d) Grain size analysis by Hudrometer Analyssi as pr. IS-2720 ( Part- IV )

e)Determination of Moisure content and dry density as per IS-2720 ( Part- II )

f) Determination of Specifie gravity as per IS-2720 ( Part-III )

g) Direct shear as per IS- 2720 (Part- XIII)

h) Determination of unconfined comprssion test as pe IS-2720 (Part -X )

i) Determination of Consolidation Prperties as per IS: 2720 ( Part-XIV)

j) Tri - Axial Compression Test Determinaion of shear strength paramters of a specimen tested in Unconsolidated Undra d/Consolidated undrained / Consolidated undrained Tri- Axial compression Test Without/with measurement of pore waer pressue as per IS-2720 (Part-XI)

Carriage of aII disturbed and undisturbed samples from site to the Divisional office or elsewhere including loading and unloading as per direction of E.I.C. (Detailed investigation.)

Preparation and submission of report in 6(six) copies giving all relevant information data like site plan, Bore log and water table, test results, calculations, discussions, suggestions and compelte design of respect of suitable foundation etc. and compelte design of foundation inclueding analysis of bearing capacity and settelements in boud and presentable from complete as per direction of Engineer-in-charge (Detailed investigation).
