Note all necessary cable , cross arms required for erection & functioning for trivector meter deemed to be include in the quoted rate & nothing extra cost will be admissible on this account.The Trivector should be installed / Enclosed in outdoor weather & dust vermin proof suitable enclosure box /panel factory fabricated with cubicle type totally enclosed .The Enclosure must be design and verified as per the latest IS/ IEC along with complete type test certificates for conformance to IS / IEC .Make : Secure/Panasonic/ L&T/Schneider/ABB.
Supply, installation, testing & commissioning of HT 11 KV, 630A, VCB panel ICOG comprises of 7 nos of VCB ( 02 No for I/C and 5 No for O/G) indoor type totally enclosed, rupturing capacity 350 MVA,free standing floor mounting type, compartment based with truck mounted vacuum circuit breaker spring operated electrically and manually charged operating mechanism suitable for Vertical isolation, horizontal draw out type VCBs with copper bus bars, Self supported Insulated Bus bar with full voltage rated should be used.back entry type complete VCB panel conforming to IEC 62271-200 standards and IP 4X class of protection comprising necessary bus-bars extension and connections and following protective and control devices as specified below. The switchgear and control gear panels shall be of the fully arc proof LSC 2B, PM, IAC AFLR for 26.3 kA for 3Sec complete all as specified and as directed. The VCB and VCB Panel should be similar make only.
(A) Incomer Vacuum circuit breaker 630A, HT, 11KV three phase, AC supply, breaking capacity 26.3KA/3 Sec at 11000V , short circuit ratings 3 seconds. Vacuum interrupters of the circuit breakers shall not be openly exposed design and shall be completely encapsulated in epoxy housing. The Circuit Breaker shall be suitable for E2, M2 & C2 (Single capacitor Bank) class duty. The offered circuit breaker should have valid type tests to support the afore-mentioned duty class. Tripping and/or release coils shall have series / shunt trip. Integral spring charging handle to be provided in the VCB. -02 Nos (B) Outgoing Vacuum circuit breaker 400A, HT, 11KV three phase, AC supply, breaking capacity 26.3KA/3 Sec at 11000V , short circuit ratings 3 seconds. (e) Resin cast potential transformers with ratio 11 KV / 1.732,110 V/1.732,suitable VA burden class 0.5 with HT fuses,PT fuse should be gun type mounted on with drawable rack -01 No. (f) SCADA Compatible Feeder Protection Relay 50/51(3-phase over current), 50/51N (Earth over current), 67P (3-phase directional over current), 67N (Earth Fault Directional over current), 51V (Voltage controlled over current), 37 (3-phase uner current), 46 (Negative phase sequence over current), 59N (Residual over voltage), 32 (directional power protection (under active / over active / reactive power), 81 U/O (under / over frequency), 49 (Thermal overload), 79 (Auto Reclose), 50 BF (Circuit Breaker Failure Detection), cold pickup, inrush blocking relay will be on Modbus protocol -01 No.
(g) Trip circuit supervision relay. (h) Master trip relay. (j) 63X Trafo fault Relay - 3 Nos. (k) Internal bus earthing. (l) Manual trip switch. (m) Space heater with thermostat - 1 No. (n) Inside moving spot LED light fitting and switch (11W) - 1 No (o) Plug point with switch (5A, 230V) - 1 No. (p) Insulated Copper bus bar. Material shall be Electrolytic Copper 630 Amps with PVC sleeves as per IEC 62271-100-200. (q) Manual charging/ operating arrangement. (r) Fuses for metering and protection system. (s) Push buttons for accepting faults and reset. (t) Rear bottom entry of HT cables. (u) LED indicating lamps (v) Auto trip (w)Spring charge motor (x)Trip circuit healthy (y) Trip circuit unhealthy (z)Breaker ON (aa) Breaker OFF (ab) Complete control panel wiring with FRLS PVC insulated copper cable of size not less than 1.5 sqmm. (ac) Civil works required for foundation as per manual of manufacturer.(ad) Terminal block and breaker locking facility with key . - 01 No. Make : ABB (Unigear-ZS1)/BHEL/Siemens (NX-Air)/Schneider (PIX).
(ae) The switchgear panel shall be of sheet steel construction with ALUZINC except doors and covers, not less than 2.5mm thickness for load bearing section and not less than 2 mm thickness for non-load bearing and shall totally dust and vermin proof. The panels shall be rigid without using any external bracings. The switchboard panels should comply with relevant IS/IEC and revision thereof and shall be designed for easy operation maintenance and further extension. Bus bar, metering circuit breaker chamber, cables and cable box chamber should have proper access for maintenance, proper interlocks should be provided. All instruments shall be non-draw out type and safe guard in every respect from damages and provided with mechanical indicator of connection and disconnection position. The switchgear shall be completed with all necessary wiring fuses, auxiliary contacts terminal boards etc.
(af) All the high voltage compartments must have pressure discharge flap for the exit of gas due to internal arc to insure operator safety. All the HV compartment design i.e. Bus bar compartment, VCB compartment & cable compartment should ensure conformity to IEC 62271-200 and must be type tested individually for internal Arc Test for AFLR 26.3kA for 1 second. The Switch gear panels shall be suitable for loss of service continuity LSC 2B. Safety shutters complying with IEC-62271-200 shall be provided to cover up the fixed high voltage contacts on bus bar and cable sides when the truck is moved to ISOLATED position. (ag) Suitable capacity battery bank along with complete stand consisting of 2 volt maintenance free batteries along with charger and DC wiring / circuit etc. for operation of relays, spring changing motor etc. for each of the VCB shall be deemed to be in quoted rates.
NOTE: - (i) The proposed VCB will be used for outgoing purpose and has to be compatible with the existing ICOG VCB panels of 630 amp rating with horizontal isolation type with CT ratio 200-100/5-5A A for Main Incoming and 100-50/5-5A outgoing. The necessary interlocking (Electrical/Mech) of MV switch gears shall be done as per the directions of GE/Engineer-in-Charge and quoted rate is deemed to include the same. (ii) Suitable capacity battery bank consisting 2 volt batteries maintenance free alongwith charger for operation of relays, spring changing motor etc shall be deemed to be in quoted rates.
(ii) After taking shutdown contractor shall complete the commisioning of the Job within 24 hrs. (iii) Testing, calibration of relays/primary/secondary injection, testing the relays/submission of test report and control wiring/power wiring complete is included in the above scope of work.
(iv) Drawing for panels shall be produced to the Engineer-in-charge and got approved from GE before placement of order by the contractor. (v) Pre-commissioning test of panels shall be carried by SEI /EI deputed by the deptt. (vi) Representative of Accepting officer will carry out factory inspection of HT VCB before dispatch. (vii) No channel partner manufacturer is permissible.All components of VCB panel shall be from OEM only.

(c) Precast RCC cover with suitable handle 40 mm thick in PCC 1:2:4 type B-1, reinforced with welded steel wire fabric weighing not less than 1.87 Kg/Sqm. (d) Funnel with watering pipe of GI 20 mm nominal bore medium grade and copper lugs etc all as specified. (e) 40 mm nominal bore light grade GI protection pipe upto 7.5 mtr long for protection of earthing lead from mechanical injury or tempering. (f) Requisite quantity of common salt and charcoal. (g) Testing of earthing Notes: (i) The unit rate includes main earthing lead/strip from earth electrode to test point up to 7.5 meter (ii) If there is a requirement of Grid Earthings to achieve the desired earth resistance, as directed by Eng-in-charge, then inter connecting of different earthings with 4 mm GI wire shall be done at no Extra cost
