M&L Attending emergency breakdown of water supply installations where directed, Lifting up defective submersible pumpset of any capacity, any stage and deep, column pipes (any number) from bore well, setting aside and stacking column pipes for reuse, transportation of unserviceable pumpset from borewell to workshop and repaired pumpset from workshop to bore well site after completion of repair work, lowering of submersible pumpset with column pipes in the bore well as existing with new nut bolt and washer including rubber gasket 3 mm thick , including electrical supply connections as per existing for smooth functioning of pump motors complete all as specified and directed. Note: Repair work of submersible pump set will measured and paid separately under respective items of this schedule.

M&L Repairs to submersible pumpset of capacity upto 5 HP, 3 phase, 415 volts, involving the following operations: (a) Opening of the defective motor & pump in MES store yard/ workshop, cleaning the covers and parts as applicable in presence of Engineer in Charge to ascertain the quantam of defects and repairs involved and including repairs such as :- (b) Assembling the motor & pump after carrying out repair works to make smooth functioning, complete. (c) Applying spray painting to the repaired motor& pump externally with two coats of synthetic enamelled paint of shade as directed by the Engineer in Charge.

All as per item No. 2 here-in-before but for submersible pumpset and motor of capacity 7.5 HP.

Note for Sl. item Nos. 2 to 4: (i) Any spare parts required to replaced during repair, servicing, overhauling of motor, pump set etc shall be measured and paid separately under respective items of this schedule as supply only. Labour element involved in replacement of material shall deemed to included in the rates quoted. (ii) Any minor repairs involved to make the motor, pump functional even if notified by the Engineer in Charge shall be carried out by the contractor without any extra cost to the department. (iii) In case of rewinding of stator of motor shall be measured and paid separately under respective item of this schedule. (iv) Greasing/ oiling etc., of parts as required shall deemed to inclusive in the rate quoted.

M&L Rewinding of stator of submersible motor of capacity 10HP/12.5 HP with water proof insulated copper wire of existing gauge and size to achieve the specified / required RPM including taking out old unserviceable winding complete all as specified and directed.

Servicing, overhauling of centrifugal pump, monoblock motor pump set of capacity 75 HP, 3 phase induction motor including carrying out maintenance check along including transportation with following repairs: (a) Dismantling of monoblock motor pump set in presence of MES representative and display all the parts without damage any portion for inspection of Engineer in Charge to ascertain the serviceability of existing parts. (b) Heating, varnishing to stator, rotor with super quality varnish and drying out properly with external heat. (c) Cleaning, washing of bearing and use right quantity of ball bearing grease for bearing. (d) Checking play of impeller and bushing of pump. (e) Assembling of motor with old serviceable parts and replacement of unserviceable parts with new as ordered where necessary. (f) Installation of motor by making connections as per existing and testing on load.
