Supplying and filling in foundation, basement, etc with Quarry Dust in layers of not more than 15 cm thick well watered, rammed and consolidated etc. complete complying with standard specification and as directed by the departmental officers.

Providing Granolithic floor finish for 25 mm thickness using plain Cement Concrete 1:2:4 (One cement, two sand, and four stone jelly) using 10 to 12mm hard broken stone jelly and the top surface shall be rubbed smooth in all floors, finishing, threading and curing etc., complete complying with standard specification.

Brick work in cement Mortar 1:5 (One cement and five sand) using best quality of Second Class Ground Moulded Chamber Burnt Bricks 9" x 4-1/2" x 3" for foundation and basement including curing, etc., complete complying with standard specification. For superstructure in Ground floor

Providing brick partition wall of 11.50 cm thick using best quality second class chamber burnt bricks of size 9” X 4 ½” X 3” in cement mortar 1:3 (One cement and three sand) including supply and fixing hoop iron reinforcement if considered necessary by the departmental officers as directed etc., complete complying with standard specifications. Painting two coats of exterior emulsion paint with full putty two or more coat with one coat of primer using best quality and approved colour of paint including cost of brushes, scaffolding charges etc. complete complying with standard specification. Paint, primer and colour have to be got approved by department Engineers. (Putty two or more coats, primer one coat and painting emulsion of approved colour two coats).

Painting old wood work with two coats of synthetic enamel ready mixed paint of approved quality and colour over a priming coat in all floors. The rate is inclusive cost of all materials and labour including the cost of primer etc., complete complying with standard specification. (The make, quality and colour of paint should be got approved by the Engineer,,i/c., before use on works).

Painting old iron works two coats of enamel paint of approved quality and colour, etc., over one coat of primer complete complying with standard specification. (The paint to be used on work should be got approved by the Enigneer,i/c., before use on work).

Ceiling Painting two coats of exterior emulsion paint over one coat of exterior primer using best quality and approved colour of paint, brushes, scaffolding charges etc. complete complying with standard specification. Paint, primer and colour have to be got approved by the Engineer,i/c.,

Varnishing the old wood work two coats with best shellac and with fine best varnish of approved quality varnish over one coat of Bee’s wax of teak wood natural finish including preparation of surface with sand papering including patty priming etc., complete complying with standard specification and as directed by the Engineer,i/c.,

Paving the floor with Designed Colour double charged Vitrified tiles of size 600 x 600 x 8mm in all floors over a base layer of Cement Mortar 1:3 (One cement and three sand) 20mm thick and pointed with white cement mixed with colouring pigments at the rate of 0.3 Kg/sq.m including finishing neatly and curing, etc. complete, complying with standard specification and as directed by the departmental officers. (The basic cost of the tiles should not be less than Rs.80/- sq.ft.,)

Supplying and paving the floor with design mat finished anti-skid ceramic tiles of approved brand and quality of size 300 X 300 X 6mm in all floors over a base mortar using cement mortar 1:3 (One cement and three sand) 20mm thick laid in situ true to alignment and pointed with colour cement (White cement mixed with colouring pigment) to suit the colour and shade of the ceramic tiles used neatly and fixed in position without any air gap in between the ceramic tiles etc., complete complying with standard specification and as directed by the departmental officers. (The sample colour and shade of the ceramic tiles should be got approved from the departmental officers before use on works).

Dadooing the walls with best quality white / colour glazed tiles of approved design, colour of size 30 cm X 45 cms over the base plastering of cement mortar 1:3 (One cement and three sand) 12mm thick and set in cement mortar 1:2 (One cement and two sand) and pointed with colour cement and finishing neatly as directed by the departmental officers., etc, complete complying with standard specification.

Removing the sun mica sheet and paving the floor with best approved quality fine polished Granite stone slabs of size 1200 x 600 of 18 / 20mm thick of synthetic Grey, Paradise and similar varieties with machine cut edges laid over a cement mortar bed of 20mm thick using cement mortar 1:3 (One cement and three sand) fixing the slabs with required cement slurry and laid in true right angles with minimum possible width of joints and pointing the joints with white cement mixed with matching colouring pigments etc., The granite stone slabs and other materials to be used shall be got approved by the Engineer,i/c.,

Flooring with the Eurocon tiles of size 300mm x 300mm laid over cement mortar 1:3 (One cement and three sand) 20mm thick and pointing the joints to full depth of slabs with cement mortar 1:3 (One cement and three sand) mixed with colour oxide including laying, finishing, polishing with machine polish, curing etc., complete complying with standard specification.

Suspended ceiling with gypsum board ceiling tiles. Providing and fixing suspended false ceiling which includes providing and fixing G.I. perimeter channels of size 27mm, 0.5mm thick having one flange of 20mm and another flange of 30mm along with perimeter of the ceiling screw fixed to brick wall / partition with the help of nylon rawl plugs and screws and then suspending G.I. intermediate channels of size 45mm, 0.90mm thick with two flanges of 15mm each from the soffit at 1200mm centers with ceiling angle of width 25mm x 25mm x 0.50mm thick fixed to soffit with G.I. cleat and steel expansion fasteners. Ceiling of 51.5mm and two flanges of 26mm each with help of connecting clips and in direction perpendicular to the intermediate channel at 1000mm centres, 12.5mm square edge gypsum board is to be fixed to ceiling section with 25mm of screws at 230mm centres. Screw fixing is to be done mechanically either with screw driver (or) drilling machine with suitable attachment. The tapered and square edges of the boards are to be jointed and finished to flush with requisite jointing compound, paper, tapes and primer suitable for gypsum plaster boards. Light fittings and access panels are to be incorporated as part of the suspended ceiling and the integrity nature of the ceiling must be maintained. For accommodating the light fittings, appropriate cut outs have to be made with the frame perimeter channels of size 20mm x 27mm x 30mm x 0.5mm, supported suitably. The Gypsum plaster board be capable of finishing the face layer of the board are to be jointed and finishing the tapered and square edges of the boards with jointing compound, paper tapes and two coats of primer suitable for gypsum board.
