REPAIR/MAINT/IMPV OF WATER SUPPLY INSTALLATIONS, BLDGS, STORAGE TANKS, DISTRIBUTION MAINS AND ALLIED WORKS AT LEBONG UNDER AGE I DARJEELING

Excavation in trenches n.exc 1.5m wide and n.exc 1.5 m in depth for foundation etc or for shafts, wells, cesspits, manholes, pier holes etc n.exc 10 sqm on plan and n.exc 1.5m in depth and getting out in soft/loose soil complete all as per specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Returning, filling in, including spreading, leveling, watering and well ramming in layers n exc 25cm complete all as per specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Removing excavated material not exc. 50 m & depositing where directed at a level not exc. 1.5 m above starting point complete all as per specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Taking out 75 mm old existing galvanised iron water mains or PPR pipe (including all fittings) with spigot and socket ends and fittings for re-use in the work and removing unserviceable pipes and fittings from site complete all as per specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Supply & laying/fixing 3 layered (outer green coloured UV stabilized, middle black coloured UV stabilized and innermost layer white coloured with anti-microbial property) fusion welded PP-R (Polypropylene Random Co-Polymer) pipes, ISI marked including plain PP-R fittings and brass threaded PP-R fittings such as flanges, elbow, bend, sockets, tee etc. as required at site and testing of joints of size 75 mm OD (SDR – 7.4), PN-16, complete all as per specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Taking out old existing galvanised iron water mains 80 mm bore or 90 mm PPR pipe (including all fittings) with spigot and socket ends and fittings for re-use in the work and removing unserviceable pipes and fittings from site complete all as per specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

S&F GI tube 80 mm bore medium grade with fittings as in old/new position as per site requirement laid in trenches or etc. and testing for leakages, complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

S&F in repair gun metal globe or gate valve, with iron wheel head screwed both ends for iron pipe of 80 mm bore including dismantling unserviceable one complete all as per specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

S&F in repair 20 mm ball brass valves, high pressure, with polythene float and flynut complete, screwed for iron pipe or brass ferrule and fixed complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

S&F in repair 25 mm ball brass valves, high pressure, with polythene float and flynut complete, screwed for iron pipe or brass ferrule and fixed complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.
