SPL REPAIRS FOR MODIFICATION OF CHARPOY GI PIPE WITH NYLON NEWAR INTO CHARPOY GI PIPE WITH PLY TOP UNDER GE(SOUTH) UDHAMPUR

Removing existing unserviceable nylon newar from Charpoy GI pipe, tightening the complete frame of charpoy and providing 12 mm (9 ply) thick plywood of size 1980 x 900mm, ISI marked, BWR grade and 02 numbers MS flat iron stiffeners of size (815-835)mm x 40mm x 6 mm of length equal to width of ply wood/GI Charpoy bending the flat iron to the shape required to fix it tightly to GI pipe frame with GI nut,bolts 6mm dia with suitable washers ,drilling holes 2 Nos each in long rails,02 Nos each in shorts rail and 02 Nos at center of ply wood. Each flat iron shall be painted with two coats of synthetic enamel paint (Black) over a coat of red oxide zinc chromate primer complete all as shown on drawing, as specified and directed.

Removing/taking down carefully old unserviceable long rail from charpoy GI pipe without damaging the adjoining parts and providing new long rail 1894 mm or suitable size as required at site, made out from 32 mm bore GI pipe medium grade, cut to required length and made to shape by threading both ends up to 22 mm for fixing to elbow of charpoy GI pipe complete all as shown on drawing, as specified and directed.

Cutting old broken serviceable portion of dismantled long rail as obtained from Srl item No 2 above and converting into short rails 02 Nos, threading both ends upto 22 mm for fixing to elbow and fixed to charpoy GI pipe including removing / taking down carefully old unserviceable short rail from charpoy GI pipe without damaging the adjoining parts complete all as shown on drawing, as specified and directed.

Cutting old broken serviceable portion of dismanted short rail as obtained from Srl item No. 3 above and converting into leg, threading upper ends upto 22 mm for fixing to elbow and fixed to charpoy GI pipe including removing / taking down carefully old unserviceable leg from charpoy GI pipe without damaging the adjoining parts complete all as shown on drawing, as specified and directed.

Removing / taking down carefully old unserviceable elbow from charpoy GI pipe without damaging the adjoining parts and providing new 3 way galvanized iron elbow medium grade, ISI marked suitable for 32 mm bore GI pipe and fixed to charpoy GI pipe complete all as shown on drawing, as specified and directed.

Removing / taking down carefully old unserviceable check nut from Charpoy GI pipe without damaging the adjoining parts and providing new galvanized iron check nut 32 mm dia, ISI marked and fixed to charpoy GI pipe complete all as shown on drawing, as specified and directed.
