AC AND REFRIGERATION Dismantling of existing unserviceable AC plant of capacity 20 TR with 50% stand by complete with compressors, Electric motors, controls, monoblock pump set, cooling tower, electric panels , make up water tank, ducting, piping with all control valves, cables from electric panel to all equipment, AHU including breaking of foundation of existing plant etc and making good the disturbed surface of wall roof to match with existing and removing dismantled material from site and depositing to MES store complete all as specified and directed

a) The plant shall comprise of outdoor type, air cooled condensing units in multiple numbers to cater for the designed refrigeration tonnage and additional 50% capacity for standby. Plant shall be designed in such a way that AHU shall have independent evaporating coil with thermo static expansion valve for every out door condensing unit. The plant shall have humidification arrangement by spraying water on cooling coils. Reheat required in monsoon season and winter heating has to be worked out and provided by circulation of hot water through heating coils from hot water generator. Compatiabilty of connecting condensing unit with AHU shall be obtained from manufacturer of condensing unit. The plant shall comprise of the following equipment. i) Air cooled condensing unit, out door type of capacity matching with the designed plant capacity with hermetically sealed scroll compressor working on R407C , axial fan blower with copper condensing coil with aluminium fins, protection equipment for HP/LP cutout, electric control unit for operation of compressor and blower based on input signal from thermostat complete with MS frame, anti vibration pads and civil works conditioning unit shall be provided with each plant i,e, working and standby.

ii)Double skin construction Air Handling Unit (AHU) suitable fordirect expansion (DX) system made out of extruded aluminium structural frame /aluminium corners and intermediate connecting pieces and panels of 0.63 mm galvanised steel sheet on both sides with 25mm thick PUF/mineral wool of density 40kg/cum injected panels having scratch free plastisol coating on outer side.The fan section should be mounted on anti vibration spring isolators and free from main structure.The fan should be back ward curved centrifugal fan with air discharge upblast, belt driven with flame proof TEFC induction motor of suitable capacity.The coil section consist of suitable no of rows deep cooling coil one for each condensing unit and to maintain the catered Bypass factor (BF) even when stanby unit are not working .Heating coil with hot water circulation row with aluminium fins to cater for designed reheat . The filter section consist of washable prefilter with 10micron 90% effeciency .The other accessories are view port, limitswitch, 22 Gauge stainless steel drain pan , volume control damper, mixing chamber with min airflow of as per design and users data requirent sheets suiatble for 2 air changes per hour with motor of suitable capacity. The AHU shall deliver the required (designed) cfm. Make : Bluestar /Voltas/ Carrier/ZECO/EDGFTECH/EUROCLIMA.

iii) Copper tubing of suitable size as per manufacturer recommendation from condensing unit to AHU duly insulated with nitrile rubber Min 19mm thick and with proper supports.- Job 1 iv) Thermostatic expansion valve as required. v) Accessories like solenoid valves, strainers, refrigerent controls like thermostats, humidistats and industrial thermometers for noting dry and wet bulb temperatures and control wiring with 1.5sqmm,1100V grade PVC insulated multi stranded copper conductor of 01 vi)Humidification with spray of water on cooling coils of AHU by providing PVC storage tank 100 lts capacity and circulating the water through monoblock pumpset of min 0.5HP including provision of galvanised steel tubing of suitable bore medium grade, valves, PVC nozzels of required numbers, electric connections with suitable copper conductor. The Tank and pump will be installed in Panel Room. The pump has to operate on humidistat settings to maintain the designed humidity - 01 Job

vii) Heat/ Reheat requirement has to be worked out to maintain the specified temperature & humidity and submit to deparment along with heat load calculations for approval. The reheat arrangement shall be made by providing the following equipment vii) Hot water generator with multiple electric heaters to give output of as required and designe KW duly fitted in tank shell vertical type of suitable storage (Min 40 lts) made out of 6mm thick MS plates and dish end 8mm thick Ms plate duly insulated 50 mm thick resin bonded fibre glass wool and cladded with 0.6 mm thick aluminium sheet. The heater banks shall have seperate controls. The electric conrol panel shall have suitable capacity Switch fuse unit with rotary handle as incomer and ougoing contactors duly controlled by digital step controller. electric controls and vessel shall be ifixed in separate compartments.The panel shall be made of CRC Sheet of 1.6 mm thick for electic control and 1.2 mm thick for vessel. The generator shall have digital thermometers, pressure gauges on inlet and out let connetion and protection for high temp cut off and low level cut off and visual & audio fault indicators.The generator will be working on 100 PSI pressure and suitable for flow rate of 100 LPM with temerature raise of water by 50 C. Online scale preventor as per manufacturer recommendation shall be provided.- 01 Job Make: Rapid cool/ Rapid control/ Reynolds

ix) Monoblock Pump set (01 working + 01 standby) with stainless steel impeller for pumping hot water at rate design rate at required head driven by induction motor, 3 ph, 415 V , F class insulation of suitable capacity complete including electric connection with sheathed copper conductor 3 core 4 sqmm drawn in rigid PVC pipe of 25 mm dia from starter to motor and provision of butterfly valves of 40 mm dia on pipe line.- 01 Job x) Mild steel tubing ERW with designed size / bore heavy grade ISI marked with weld joints complete duly insulated with 50 mm thick resin bonded glass fibre wool of 25kg/cumt density and cladding with aluminium sheet of 0.6mm thick all as specified and directed - 01 Job xi) Expansion tank open type for hot water of size Minimum 1m x1m x 0.5mts made out of 6mm thick MS sheet duly epoxy coated and insulated with resin bonded fibre glass wool of 50 mm thick and cladding with 0.6 mm thick aluminium sheet. Connecting the expansion tank in the hot water circuit with suitable size heavy duty MS pipe with weld joints duly insulated with fibre glass wool 50 mm thick and cladding with aluminium sheet of 0.6 mm thick including provision of float valve, butterfly valves on inlet and outlet connection. The inlet connection shall be Galvanised steel tubing medium grade 20 mm bore with screwed joints.-01 Job

xii) Design, supply, fabricate and install air distribution system through insulated supply Air ducts above false ceiling and diffusers. Contractor has to submit complete layout of ducts, sizes and pressure drop calculations for approval after getting it vetted from Govt Engg college/Institution. It shall be ensured that air is distributed equally in entire hall and no hot spots exist. Supply air ducts shall be fabricated with PGI sheet of 20/22/24 gauge (as per duct design) all as per IS 655 (as amended up to date) , ceiling / wall mounted diffuser / grills shall be aluminium section with powder coating of approved make with required wooden frame with volume control dampers double deflection type supply of air shall be provided and Reurn air duct drawn through opening in the AHU room with a provision of return air grill. Fire damper fusible plug type to be provided for AHU with fusible link fixed to damper and shall operate at 74 Deg C through stain less steel spring. Fusible link shall be UL stamped. Accoustic insulation with min 24mm thick fibre glass rigid boards and finished with RP tissue paper and 28mm gauge aluminium perforated sheet upto 3 mtr from outlet of the airplenum all as specified and as directed. xiii) Gauges : Gauges shall be instrumental type comprising of pressure gauge/ temperature / Dry and wet thermometer industrial type. xiv) Electrical panel shall be factory made,cubicle type , floor mounted, indoor type made out of 2 mm thick CRCA sheet and the internal compartments along with doors with 1.6 mm thick sheet , dust and vermin proof duly powder coated with copper bus bars designed for operarting the AC plant all as per standard Engineering Practice. The same shall be executed on the approval by the deptt.

xv) Contractor shall give notice sufficient in advance to GE regarding Testing of plant and piping system and shall make all arrangements including mateirals / instruments , labour etc . Required for test at his own expense and nothing extra shall be paid on this account. xvi) Electric connections with LT cable, armoured/ unarmoured, sheathed/ Unsheathed, Power/control type 1100/660 V grade XLPE/PVC insulated copper conductor of required size / core, with necessary rigid PVC pipes protection etc deemed to be included in the rate quoted and no extra payment will be made on this account . xvii) Civil works like Excavation and PCC foundation to AHUs, Pumps, Generator, Condensing units, Panel , Compressor and any other items required for completion of above air conditioning plant are deemed to be included in the above quoted rates.

Earthing complete with GI earth plate electrode 600x600x6mm buried directly in ground vertically to a depth of not less than 2.25mtr below ground level with top edge of earth plate at a depth of not less than 1.5mtr below ground level connected to GI earth strip of 32x6 mm Necessary excavation and earth work PCC 1:3:6 type C1 using 20mm graded stone aggregate earth chamber 40mm thick RCC cover type B1 (1:2:4) B1 using 20mm graded stone aggregate etc complete all as shown in electric plate No.5 of MES Sch part I and testing after completion. GI strip up to test point is covered under this item.Extra strip will be measured and paid separatly.

Supply and fix GI strip 32x6 mm.

Galvanised steel pipe 40mm , light grade for protection.

INTERNAL ELECTRIFICATION AND MISC ITEMS Taking down of old unserviceable submain of any size

Material and labour for flame proof submain wiring with approved colour coding as per IS with single core PVC insulated but unsheathed FRLS cabe specified size multistanded copper conductor 1100 volts grade IS-694 marked drawn through heavy duty ISI marked surface mounted ERW stove enamelled, steel conduit suitable for flame proof wiring, not less than 20mm dia with and including flame proof bends and elbows, couplers, bell mouth reducer junction box all as per relevant IS all as specified complete.

(i) 2 runs of 2.5 Sqmm size main cable and one run of 2.5 Sqmm size earth continuity conductor. Note : - (a) One submain will operate 5 to 6 flame proof points fitting through 01 no rotory switch. (b) Rates of flame proof bends and elbows, couplers, bell mouth reducer etc are demmed in the rate quoted. (c) Rates of flame proof junction boxes, FLP unions and couplings are to be paid separately.

Supply and fix CMRI certified LED flame proof 2x20 W, Tube light fixtures, Recommended for ammunition Shed, IP 65 protection complete with all accessories internally pre-wired complete all as specified and as directed. Make :- Crompton Greave Cat No. EXTN2LT8 or equivalent in Sudhir.

Taking down and refixing serviceable surface mounted flame proof junction box, unions Couplings and any size.

Taking down carefully unserviceable surface mounted flame proof junction box, unions, couplings and any size all as directed.

Material and labour for surface mounted flame proof junction box 3 to 4 way 20mm minimum all as per relevant IS and as specified complete for the Flameproof sub main wiring as indicated in item no. 02 here-in-before.

Taking down and refxing serviceable FLP distribution board any size and capacity all as directed.

Supply and fix in repairs weather proof, flame proof distribution board approved by CMRI Dhanbad of cast aluminium alloy LM-6 MCB type TPN-4 way with 40 Amps TPN, rotory switch as incommer and MCB SP C series 10 KA 6-32 Amps 8 nos and 16A -2 Nos as outgoing all as specified and as directed. Make : Sudhir/ Shyam/Flexipro.

Supply and fixing acrylic door covered notice board with dimension 1.5 x 1 meter Non magnetic, flame material anodized aluminium, front door lockable of aluminium formed acrylic sheet best suited for indoor use and frmaed in double sided curved anodized aluminium section chromium plasted plastic corners with good aeshetics chromium plated metal. Make : Green Indoh Boards or equivalent as approved.

Supply only electrician power & tool kit 1-GSB 550 Impact Drill Case, Masonry Drill Bits, Wood Drill Bits, screw, wall plugs, screw driver set, multimeter electrical power tester, Insulation tape cutter, hammer, piler etc complete. Make : Bosch model No. GSB 550 or equivalent as approved.

Supply and fix Allen key set. Make :- Taparia AKM-9 or equivalent as approved.

Taking down and refixing of arrester terminal rod with necessar accessories complete all as directed

Taking down and refixing of aluminium strip of any size with necessary accessories all as directed.

B/R WORK Demolition of cement concrete unreinforced in ground floors any paving n exc 15cm thickness (below or above ground level) all as specified and directed

Material and labour for 150 mm thick PCC 1:2:4 Type B-I (20mm graded agg ), as in floor and in specified panels and joints top layer finished even and smooth with out using extra cement. complete all as directed.

Material and labour for 75mm thick PCC 1:3:6 mix type C1using 20 mm graded stone aggregate as in plinth protection and surface to be finished fair and even including joints at every 2.5 m and at all corners filled with 85/25 grade bitume and sand mixed in 1:2 ratio by weight complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply and fix GI frame work of seamless ceiling comprising of GI premeter channel 0.55 mm thick with two unequal flanges of 20 and 30 mm and web of 27 mm fixed to surrounding wall using nylon sleeves and screws at 450 mm centre to centre/intermediate channel 0.9 mm thick having two equal flanges of 15 mm each and approx 900 mm centre to centre with GI cleat and steel expansion fasteners with and including ceiling section ( not exc 1.2 m length) of 0.55 mm and flange of 26 mm each with lips of 10.5 mm fixed to the intermediate channel with connecting clips across the intermediate channel at 457 mm centre to centre all as specified and of approved make (Size of grid 605 x 605 mm)

Taking down cement plaster on brick or stone walls etc, including racking out joints, hacking for key, scrubbing down with water etc all as specified and directed.

Material and labour for rendering 15mm thick internall surfaces on brick/concrete in CM 1:6 finished even and smooth without using extra cement.

Material and labour 5mm thick rendering as in ceiling/chajja on fair faces in cement motor in cement mortar in 1:3 as specified and as directed.

Material and labour (10+5)mm thick for rendering fair faces of brick work or Concrete surface in two coats 10mm thick in CM(1:6) as under coat and 5mm thick CM (1:4) as finishing coat in two separate layers mixed with integral water proofing compound in finishing coat , finished even and smooth without using extra cement complete all as specified and as directed. Material and labour for cleaning of roof surfaces and applying one coat of bituminous primer IS- 3384 @ 0.30 ltr per sqm including laying of APP based polymeric membrane weighing 3.00 kg/ Sqm and minimum 3mm thick reinforced with polyster non woven fabric (wt,not less than 150gms/sqm) etc including two coat of bituminious aluminium paints @ 100ml /sqm on each coat and applying one coat of bitumen Gde 85/25 @ 1.2 Kg/Sqm complete all as directed

Taking down chowkats or frames of exc 4 sqm with shutters (doors) all as directed.

Supply and fix for mild steel angle iron for Framed work as in doors or gates of angle or other section with gusset plates, rails, braces, etc., complete, drilled for fixing of steel sheeting or other covering. Doors, etc. to be prepared for hanging or sliding with and including hooks and hinges or steel hanging door fittings (exclusive of steel sheeting or other covering, running rails and guides) and hanging; also fastening and fixing complete (Fe 290, Gde E-165) all as specified and as directed

Supply and fix 1.60mm thich mild steel, plain, black sheet but in hearths; covering to door shutters; covering to door chowkats (frames); chullah hoods; water tanks; water troughs; ducts; urinal troughs and funnels, etc. cut to size edges beaded if directed, holes punched; including round headed screws, clout nails or rivets and fixed to wood or steel members, etc.,with plain 40mm lap joints or welded/riveted seams including bending, turning up, mitred angles, stopped ends, outlets, etc. as required all as specified and directed.

Taking down chowkats or frames of n- exc 1.5 sqm with shutters (windows/ventilators frame with shutter) all as directed.

Supply and fix guard bars/grills to wooden frames of windows/ventilators all as directed.

Supply and fix steel window with side hung shutters incl box type hinges with steel handle, and steel peg stay, complete with glazing bars, dovetailed or welded of approved make all as specified and directed.

Supply and fix steel ventilator with top hung shutters incl hinges with steel peg stay, complete of approved make all as specified and directed.

Material and labour for 3mm thick sheet glass ordinary quality and glazing with oil putty in squares not exc. 0.5 Sqm in each pane complete all as specified.

Cutting holes in brick walls built in cement mortar for inserting holdfasts and making good dismantled portion in cement mortar 1:3 or cement concrete 1:2:4 type B-I, exceeding half brick but not exceeding one brick thick walls all as specified and as directed.

Material and labour for preparing new steel surface and applying two coats of synthetic enamel paint over a one coat of red oxide all as specified and as directed.

Excavation in trenches n.exc 1.5m wide and not exceeding 1.5 m in depth for foundation etc, or for shafts, wells, cess pits, manholes, pier holes, etc. not exceeding 10 Sqm on plan and not exceeding 1.5 m in depth and getting out in hard/dense soil complete all as specified and as directed.

Material and labour PCC 1:4:8 Type D2 100mm thick as in sub base complete all as specified and directed complete.

Material and labour formwork to soffits of suspended slab such as roof slab, floor slab landing and similar work n' exc. 200 mm thick including fair finished complete all as spd and directed

Material and labour Mild steel TMT bars 10mm dia and over, cut to length, bent to shape required, including cranking, bending spirally for hooping for columns, hooking ends and binding with and including mild steel wire (annealed) not less than 0.9mm dia or securing with clips all as specified and as directed

All as per item No 73 herein before, but 6mm to 8mm dia for strirrups.

Material and labour Reinforcement Cement concrete design mix M-25 , type B-1 using 20mm graded stone aggregate as in slabs supported on culvert, walls, beams, roofs, landings, balconies, canopies, deck slabs and in shelves and the like complete all as specified and as directed

Note:- The ammount of schedule of credit on page 35 shall be deducted from the amount quoted against sch 'A' while deriving at the contract sum for acceptance.
