Scarifying or picking gravelled, macadam or bituminous macadam surfaces in area n exc 400 sqm N exc 50mm deep

M&L for preparing black top surfaces of roads by brushing with wire brush for removing cracked mud etc, sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surfaces with gunny bags to remove all loose dirt etc and applying evenly a tack coat with paving bitumen 80/100 (VG-10) grade at 5 Kg per 10 Sqm on black top surfaces complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for laying premixed bituminous macadam (using binder not less than 4% by weight of total mix) rolled and compected to required gradient and camber (consodlidated thickness 75mm or less) using VG-30 paving bitumen, complete all as specified and as directed. Note: No extra payment will be made if binder is more than 4%.

Preparing surface by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc, sweeping with brooms & finally fanning the cleaned surface with air compressor to remove all loose dirt and applying evenly a tack coat @ 5 Kg per 10 Sqm of paving bitumen of VG -10 and material and labour for providing 40mm thick (consolidated thickness) bituminous premixed semi dense asphaltic concrete with 5.5% binder content by weight of total mix using VG-30 paving bitumen, with mechanical paver, mixed in hot mix plant, rolled and compacted to required camber and gradient with 8 to 12 tonne power roller or vibrator roller as specified and directed. Note :- (a) VG-30 Paving bitumen content beyond 5.5% if required on account of design mix shall not be paid and shall be deemed to be included in unit quoted rate.

Repair to potholes any depth, not exc 5 sq m each including sweeping free from dust & mud, or water, scoring sunken surfaces in roads, paths, etc. cutting arounds edges to at least 25mm in depth, making good by applying tack coat at 5 kg per 10 sq m. putting in premixed bituminous macadam, well rammed & sealed with binder 9.8 kg per 10 sq m, blinded with 0.09 cu m of stone chippings, 6.3 mm size & again will rammed (including supply or premixed macadam, binder & chippings), depth of potholes exc 30mm, complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for preparing bituminous surfaces of road and marking 2.5mm thick centre lines, stop lines, dashes, arrows etc. and the like n.exc 10cm wide in roads pavements with hot applied thermoplastic road marking paints of approved colour cofirming to BS 3262-1989 with special applicator machine all as per manufacturers instruction complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply and fixing cat eye solar reflective type of metal body alloy of size 100mm x 100mm x 20mm with PAMA striplens reflector of model No. DA 972.0 fixed with and incl MS stud of suitable size as per manufactures instructions complete all as speified and as directed.

Supply and Fixed in repair informatory sign board as advance direction/destination sign board of size 1800mmx1200mm incl necessary letter with rectro-reflective sheeting incl SS work as in frame of size 40 mm dia and two posts 50mm dia stainless steel pipe of grade-403 as in required length at site (2.5-3.0m) Note : Writing letters of informatory signs will be directed by Engr-in-Charge at site.

Supply and fixing metal tubular dealineator made out of ABS round body fitted with 2 Nos 65 mm dia highly reflective reflectors made out of PMMA and mounted on 45/50 mm dia mild steel pipe of 600 mm height duly powder coated and thermo plastic elastomer 3 bands of green, red and yellow reflector radium tape of 25 mm wide strips with anti theft steel net for reflector protection including embedding in PCC 1:2:4 (150x150x300mm) type B1 complete all as specified and as directed

Supply and fix solar cat eye aluminum alloy shall (100% water proofing design according to 65) of size 125mm x 125mm x 25mm (shank 65mm) of high efficiency Mono rystafie solar panel 2.4V/ 0.3 watt one NI-ed rechargeable battery (1.2V/1600MA) consisting of super bright LED with 10,000 to 18,000 mcd completed as per manufactures instructions etc. all as specified and as directed

Excavation over areas, n exc 1.5m deep & getting out in Hard / Dence soil and removing of excaveted material exc. 1.5 KM but n.exc 5.0 km and depositing where directed andForming embankments including raising (or lowering) earth, spreading in layers n.exc 30 cm thick; watering, ramming/rolling and finishing to required size, shape, etc. n.exc 1.5cm high from base, soil shall be brought by contractor from out side fo the MD land, complete all as specified and directed.
