Replacement Indication-visual and weight variation operation type-Non Contact, Non Inhalatory, Heavy Metal Contaminants (like Mercury and Lead) inproduct media must be Below Detectable Limit (BDL) and the product must pass through Acute Toxicity test (to specially confirm non Toxicity for Mamalian cells) based on which the product must be considered safe to use from human health safety point of view and freedom from toxicity when use dindrinking water disinfection, inrecommended dosage. Cleaning of semi underground water reservior semi under ground tank of capacity 20,000 gallons includig repair work in cement concrete with following work complete all as specified here-in-after and as directed;- (a) Washout the residual water from water reservior by using pump set or bucket & mug etc complete all as directed. (b) Removing muds, silt sand etc from inside of tank and depositing in pit (depth of pit not less than 1.5 mtr) to a distance n.exc 50 mtr from tank including exacavation of suitable size of pit and returning, filling and cleaning of tank with water and all as directed. (c) Removing moulds, moss,foreign materials etc from the internal surfaces of tank and from the mouth of pipe by scrapping with steel brushes or steel scrapping, disposing off waste materials to a distance n.exc 50 mtr and cleaning the internal surface with clean water. (d) Spreading the thin layers of bleaching powder over the entire surface of tank internally and washing with clean water. (e) Applying one coat of lime wash to the internal surfaces of wall of semi UG sump. (f) Writing the following words to the external wall after necessary two coats of black paint (size 60x40 m) with 50 mm size white letter :- CLEANED ON :- dd:mm:yyyy CAPACITY = GALLONS STAGGING = MTRS (applicable for overhead reservior only). NOTE :- (i) Contractor will submit tank wise cleaning programme at least 10 days advance to the Engineer-in-Charge/GE for intimation to user's. (ii) Complete above mentioned cleaning works of each reservoir must be completed on the same day for supply uninterrupted water to the user's. (iii) Over Head Reservoirs/ UG Sumps are to be cleaned twice in a year. However measurement/payment will be considered individual job wise.
