Excavating in trenches, not exceeding 1.5m wide and not exceeding 1.5m in depth for laying of cable, etc. and getting out in hard/ dense soil complete all as specified and directed.

Returning, filling including spreading, levelling, watering and well ramming in layers not exceeding 25cm thick in hard/ dense complete all as specified and directed.

Removing excavated surplus soil to a distance not exceeding 50m depositing where directed and at a level not exceeding 1.5m above the starting point complete all as specified and directed.

Supply, laying and spreading in layers dry clean river sand for cable cushioning with a layer of sand 8cm depth before laying the cable and 15cm depth after laying the cable punned down to a depth of 10cm above the top of the cable complete all as specified and as directed. Note: Thickness of sand will be measured after punning down.

Supply and laying old size, burnt, sub class ‘B’ bricks for protection to cable, laid flat, dry in trenches width wise across the cable or perpendicular to the cable complete all as specified and as directed.

Material and labour for light grade 40mm dia GI pipe for cable protection laid in trenches and walls with all fittings including taking out old unserviceable pipe complete all as specified and directed. Make: Jindal/ Zenith/ TATA.

Material and labour for earthing complete with galvanised steel earth plate electrode 600mm x 600mm x 6mm thick buried directly in ground (earth pit not less than 2.25metre deep below natural ground level) with top edge of the plate not less than 1.5metre below normal ground level, connected to galvanised earth lead wire 4mm dia by means of bolts, nuts, check nuts and washers of galvanised iron or steel connected to earth test point with and including necessary excavation and earth work in any type of strata, PCC 1:2:4, type B1 in chamber wall with 50mm thick RCC cover 1:2:4, type B0 duly reinforced with 6 mm dia bar, @100mm both way with suitable lifting handle, charcoal dust and common salt mixed and packed in 150mm thick layer all around the earth plate, watering pipe of size 20mm dia medium grade, 0.63mm thick GI sheet funnel with wire mesh, GI protection pipe 15mm dia light grade up to 7.5m from electrode complete all as shown in electrical plate No. 3 of SSR Part-I complete all as specified and as directed. Note: - On testing if desired earth resistance is not obtained, the earthing will be redone at no extra cost.

Material and labour for providing 1100volt grade heavy duty 2 single core 4sqmm PVC insulated sheathed cable in service connection to light fitting to terminal box including taking out old unserviceable cable complete all as specified and directed. Make: Havell’s/ Polycab/ Finolex/ Plaza.

Supply, fabricate and fix street light bracket made out of 40mm dia medium grade GI tubing, 1.00metre long bent to shape of 120 degree without welding fixed on LT pole with 2 sets of MS flat iron clamps made out of 40mm x 6mm thick with necessary nuts, bolts and washers including taking down existing brackets complete all as specified and directed. Make of pipe: Jindal/ Tata/ Zenith.

Supply and fix single piece moulded SMC box of size 230mm x 170mm x 105mm outer and 200mm x 140mm x 95mm inner dimensions consisting of one SP MCB 6Amps and one 4way connector with all fixing arrangements for fixing on LT pole with necessary clamps, nuts, bolts and washers including taking down existing one complete all as specified and directed. Make: National/ SIntex or other approved equivalent makes.
