Eligibility Criteria

Tenders from Joint ventures are not acceptable.

Bidders shall not be under a declaration of ineligibility for corrupt and fraudulent practices issued by Government of Karnataka

Bidders shall ensure upload of relevant document certifying his/her status as Scheduled Caste/ Scheduled Tribe/other reserved category as prescribed in the tender document.

It shall be the responsibility of the Bidder to ensure credit of Tender Processing Fee and EMD into the respective receiving bank accounts of e-Procurement on or before the last date and time of bid submission.

EMD Payments through e-Payment mode shall be made as one single transaction and payments made in part are liable for rejection.

The intending contractors should note that, as the tender invited is on percentage basis, if the bid amount based on the percentage quoted by the contractor is less than the amount put to tender, the contractor shall submit the additional performance security amount equal to the difference between the amount put to tender and quoted amount through Nationalized Bank Demand Draft (DD)/FDR in favor of The Executive Engineer, KBJNL,FIC,DIVISION.NO-3 ALMATTI , at the time of agreement.

The contractor who does not full fill these conditions, such bids shall be rejected without assigning any reasons.

The aspiring bidders who have not previously obtained the user ID and Password for participating in e-tendering may now obtain the same by requesting the e-governance office, Centre for e Governance, 4th Floor, Arvinda Bhavan, Mythic Society Compound, Nrupathunga Road, Bengaluru 560001 during office hours.

The contractors can request for e-tendering documents from 27.03.2026 to 13.04.2026 up to 5.00PM in the web site https://kppp.karnataka.gov.in. Same link e-tender document can be obtained only on payment (non refundable) as per e- portal towards transaction fee. While applying, for tender the contractor can pay the transaction fee in the e-procurement portal using payment modes-1 / credit cards / Direct Debit / National electronic fund transfer (NEFT) / over the counter (OTC) on or before up to 5.00 pm hours

The contractor can have access to e-tender document from 27.03.2026 to 22.04.2026 up to 5.00PM.

Technical bid will be opened in the under signed office on 24.04.2026 at 11.00AM.

Within 10 days of receipt of the Letter of Acceptance, the successful Tenderer shall deliver to the Employer a Security deposit in the forms given below for an amount equivalent to 5% of the Contract price for work - FDR/TDR/Demand draft of Nationalized Bank/Schduled Bank in favour of The Executive Engineer, KBJNL,FIC,DIVISION.NO-3 ALMATTI payable at Bheemarayanagudi.

Failure of the successful Tenderer to comply with the requirements of Sub-Clause (c) shall Constitute sufficient grounds for cancellation of the award and forfeiture of the earnest money Deposit.

After opening of the bid of single cover, who satisfies the technical and financial bid conditions, If the L1 bidder does not produce the original documents for the same then the bid will be treated as non-responsive bid as per clause-26(4) of the KTPP rules. Then the names of such bidders will be removed from the list of Contractor enrollment.

During the time of technical evaluation, if the employer finds that any certificates /information furnished is false and fake, such bids will be disqualified and EMD shall be forfeited barred from the Participation of tendering process.

If any bidder fails to satisfy the conditions, such bids shall be liable for rejection.

If any of the dates mentioned above happened to be a general holiday, the next working day holds good for the process.

Conditional tenders are liable to be rejected. The officer competent to accept the tender shall have the right to reject any or all the tenders without assigning any reason whatsoever.

Corrigendum will be published only in the web site for all modifications/ corrections if any.

The intending bidders should note that, if any of the lands either in part / parts or in whole required for the works is not acquired by the CADA. Hence it is the responsibility of the bidder to take possession of such land and start the work on his own risk and cost.

Contractor should abide by the directions of Government towards recovery of 1% (or as modification by Government from time to time) cess from the contractor bill under the provision of building and construction works (welfare cess vide act-1996).

The representative of the contractor who will attend for opening of tender should bring the authorization letter from the concerned contractor.

The validity period of EMD shall be for a minimum period of 180 days from the date of opening of tenders.

Successful bidders should execute the agreement within 20 days from the date of acceptance of the tender. If the contractor fails to enter into the agreement within the said period, the EMD of the contractor shall be forfeited and action shall be initiated for banning to participate in the further tendering of Krishna-CADA, Bheemarayanagudi.

The contractor / authorized signatory should attach his / her scanned signature on Letter pad.

Certificate: The contractor shall enclose/attach all the necessary certificates duly attested by Employer.

The amounts are excluding GST but inclusive of all other charges.

The increase in GST shall not be paid in the extended period of contract for which the contractor alone is responsible for delay as determined by the authority while granting the extension of time.

GST shall be paid to the tendered amount separately.

For work done certificate, in respect of any of the above work, application shall be submitted through Seva sindhu e-portal after successful completion of the work / defects liability period.
