Providing and laying the bentonite layer sandwitched in between original ground and a soil layer. the process shall be adopted as under:- 1. the pond must be drained out first. At most, the soil should be lightly humid for this technique to be properly applied. 2. Start the application by cleaning up the area of any debris, including logs, tree roots, rocks, and any other undesirable material. 3.Proceed to remove a layer of 4 to 6 inches of soil and leave them around the area of the pond, as it will be used later for covering. 4. Proceed to lay the bentonite in 100-150 MM thickness evenly throughout the bottom surface of the pond. The resulting layer is similar to laying a white blanket onto the pond area. 5. overlay the soil in 4-6 inches as a blanket that were previously removed should be carefully laid on top of the bentonite blanket. 6.Compact the newly created layers once, spray some water if possible and compact a second time.
