Operation and maintenance of water supply installations daily (without any holidays) in three shifts of eight hours each with minimum one skilled persons/tradesman (FGM) including maintaining the installation premises neat and clean and closely monitoting the electrical and mechanical systems every one hour duly maintaining the record all as directed by the Engineer-in-charge for the following installations : Location : SPH/ PH, Coovam, 390 PH at DC-I & SMC Pump house in DC-I. (a) Operating the valve in UG sump 40000 / 100000 gallons including chlorination plant - 2 Nos (b) Operating the Centrifugal pump set 2X50 HP and 2X15 HP-04 Nos (c) Operating the Deep bore well with submersible pump set -02 Nos (d) Operating the Diesel engine driven generating set of capacity 160 KVA along with controls /panels, starters at DG set -01 No (e) Operating the complete,automation systems,equipment panels ect. FGM (Skilled) per person as per existing rates.

Employees Provident Fund as per existing rates

Employees State Insurance as per existing rates

Over Head & Profit on total of Srl No. 5.00 to 7.00

Labour Welfare Cess (LWC) on total of Srl No. 5.00 to 8.00

GST as per existing rates on total of Srl No. 5.00 to 9.00

Notes for BOQ Srl item No 1 to 10 :- (a) The rate quoted for items of Manning and Operation shall not be less than minimum fare wages as notified by Govt of India / State Govt whichever is higher and also not less than applicable rates for contribution of employer towards EPF, ESIC, LWC and GST under respective headings / sub items. In case the rates quoted are less than previling rates / instruction under any headings / sub items, the bid will be treated as non bonafied / invalid, shall be disqualified and such bids will not be consider for acceptance. In such case the lowest bidder shall be determined from amongst the valid / bonafidde bids only. (b) Employees will be trained and well acquainted with operation and maintenance of pump sets.

Notes for BOQ Srl item No 1 to 10 :- (c) Comprehensive maintenance of sluice valves, Non return valves and replacement of rubber gaskets, leathers, to attend break down of pumping pipe lines, day to day complaints completely in the shifts all as specified and as directed. (d) The rate considered is deemed to include the consumables required for operation and normal maintenance of Pump Sets and all types of valves, cotton waste, grease, gland rope, fuse wire, insulation rape etc. (e) The rate considered is deemed to be included the cost towards uniform for the staff employed for wearing during working hours. The uniform shall be Pant and shirt and the colour and pattern shall be decided by the GE. (f) The rate considered is deemed to be inclusive of the documents such as Log Book, Running & Maintenance Record Book, Attendance register, Misc Items etc. (g) General cleanliness and upkeeping existing plants and vegetation within the premises of the plant by deploying additional manpower with T&P if required at any time and all as directed by Engineer-in-Charge. (h) For the purpose of payment of minimum fair wages, FGM / Electrician shall be considered as skilled worker. (j) Contractor shall made payment through authorised bank and photocopy of receipt of payment from the employer as per the format as directed by the GE shall be attached with RAR/FB.

Notes for BOQ Srl item No 1 to 10 (k) Contractor shall also submit proof of contributions made towards EPF & ESIC for the employees engaged at the time of claiming RAR/FB. (l) Duty roster will be submitted by the contractor before commencement of the month for obtaining the approval of JE and Engineer-in-charge. Any change the duty roster will be made by the contractor, only after approval of Engineer-in-charge. (m) Contractor shall monitor the duties of all FGMs/Electricians and submit report to concerned Engr-in-Charge/ JE E/M regarding availability of manpower and also monitor for watch and guard of installation. Any loss of damage to the plant equipment installed and Govt. property in the installation premises shall be made good by the contractor. Rates quoted by the contractor are deemed to include for this clause. (n) Contractor should arrange proper uniform with name plate displayed in shirt for the mechanics and its cost shall be deemed to be inclusive in the quoted rate. (o) The rate quoted shall not be less than minimum wages as notified by Govt of India/ State Govt/ Local body whichever is higher including all statutory provisions such as EPF, ESIC, Taxes etc and rate of GST as applicable on the last due date of bid submission. (p) 'NIL' or 'Zero' Quoting against OH & Profit shall be render the bids as 'Non-bonafide' (q) Contractor is required to quote upto two digit after decimal place or otherwise it will be considered by rounding off to two digits after decimal place.

Excavating in trenches, not exceeding 1.5m wide and not exceeding 1.5m in depth; for foundation, laying cables, pipes etc. or for shafts, wells, cesspits, manholes, pier holes, etc not exceeding 10 sqm on plan and not exceeding 1.5m depth and getting out in any type of soil all as specified and as directed.

Removing excavated surplus soil to a distance not exceeding 50m and depositing where directed at a level not exceeding 1.5m above the starting point complete all as specified and as directed.

Returning, filling in, including spreading, levelling, watering and well ramming in layers not exceeding 25 cm in any type of soil complete all as specified and as directed.

Dry river sand laid to required width of trench at bottom and top for cable cushioning all as specified and as directed.

Burnt bricks sub class "B" of old size, designation 50, laid dry in trenches with width equal to length of bricks across the cable for cable protection all as specified and as directed.

Taking out existing cable any type / cross section and supply, laying, connecting and testing XLPE insulated, armoured, heavy duty electric cable with aluminium conductor of cross sectional area 25sqmm, 4 core, 1100 volts grade, in trenches / drawn through pipe / fixed on walls / bare in road crossings / paths / drains / ducts / floors / fixed on poles / equipments complete all as specified and as directed.

Taking out existing cable any type / cross section and supply, laying, connecting and testing XLPE insulated, armoured, heavy duty electric cable with aluminium conductor of cross sectional area 95sqmm, 3.5 core, 1100 volts grade, in trenches / drawn through pipe / fixed on walls / bare in road crossings / paths / drains / ducts / floors / fixed on poles / equipments complete all as specified and as directed. Note for item No 19 & 20: Earth work and excavation shall be measured and paid seperately.

Taking out existing unserviceable pipe of any type and size and supply, laying UPVC column pipe heavy duty (threaded type) of size 50mm, SCH-80 with necessary fittings and fixed to wall and ceiling or laid in floors or laid in existing bore holes complete all as specified and as directed.

Taking out existing unserviceable pipe of any type and size and supply, laying UPVC column pipe heavy duty (threaded type) of size 63mm, SCH-80 with necessary fittings and fixed to wall and ceiling or laid in floors or laid in existing bore holes complete all as specified and as directed.

Taking out existing unserviceable ball valve and suppy and fix 50mm size UPVC ball valve suitable for UPVC pipe SCH-80 complete all as specified and as directed.

Taking down the unserviceable starter and supply and fix Motor starter star delta type suitable for operation on AC, three phase, fore wire, 415 volts, 50 Hz of capacity 15 HP with relay complete all as specified and as directed.

Taking down the unserviceable starter and supply and fix Motor starter star delta type suitable for operation on AC, three phase, fore wire, 415 volts, 50 Hz of capacity 50 HP with relay complete all as specified and as directed.

Taking down the unserviceable starter and supply and fix Motor starter star delta type suitable for operation on AC, three phase, fore wire, 415 volts, 50 Hz of capacity 25 HP with relay complete all as specified and as directed.

Taking down the unserviceable cable and supply and fix submerssible cable, PVC insulated and sheathed, flat, 3 core 6 sqmm, 1100 volts grade with multi stranded copper conductor from starter to submerssible pump complete all as specified and as directed.

Cast iron sluice valve suitable for 200mm bore of pipe with flanged ends drilled with holes, Class PN 1.6 (conforming to IS 14846) with brass spindle and checknut, rubber gasket 3mm thick, nut, bolts and washers, necessary machining works as in repairs complete all as specified and as directed.

MCCB 250 Amps, TP, 415 Volts, 3 phase, 50 Hz, 36 kA breaking capacity, with adjustable thermal and adjustable magnetic setting with protection for overload and short circuit and conforming to IEC60947 / IS 13947 (Pt-II) 1993 (Latest version) and with Ics = 75% of Icu having spreader links and barriers as standard feature of manufacturer as in repairs complete all as specified and as directed.

MCCB 100 Amps, TP, 415 Volts, 3 phase, 50 Hz, 16 kA breaking capacity, with adjustable thermal and fixed magnetic setting with protection for overload and short circuit and conforming to IEC60947 / IS 13947 (Pt-II) 1993 (Latest version) and with Ics = 100% of Icu having spreader links and barriers as standard feature of manufacturer as in repairs complete all as specified and as directed.

Stop valves, cast copper alloy, screwed down, high pressure, with crutch or butterfly handle, screwed both ends for iron pipe or for unions and fixed for GI pipe of size 50mm bore as in repairs complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply only Sodium Hypochlorite solution with 10% concentration suitable to use in Chlorine Dosing Plant complete all as specified and as directed.
