Eligibility Criteria

Tenderers should not be associated, or have been associated in the past, directly or indirectly, with a firm or any of its affiliates which have been engaged by the Purchaser to provide consulting services for the preparation of the design, specifications, and other documents to be used for the procurement of the goods to be purchased under this Invitation of Tenders.

Bidders shall not be under a declaration of ineligibility for corrupt and fraudulent practices issued by Government of Karnataka

It shall be the responsibility of the Bidder to ensure credit of Tender Processing Fee and EMD into the respective receiving bank accounts of e-Procurement on or before the last date and time of bid submission.

EMD Payments through e-Payment mode shall be made as one single transaction and payments made in part are liable for rejection.

E.M.D shall be paid at the time of uploading of Tender itself. Micro and small enterprises registered with NSIC under single point vender registration are exempted from Paying EMD

The Prices quoted are to be kept valid for 120 Days from the date of opening of price bid for placement of order

Prices are VARIABLE. The rate shall be quoted separately slot provided on KPPP inclusive of GST as per price schedule (BOQ) and are negotiable

Approximate Quantity Requirement as indicated in Section V: Schedule of Requirements. Full Quantity shall be offered by the Bidder. However, Purchase Order/ Release Order will be issued as and when required

Delivery Schedule. As per the KAVIKA requirement, Release Orders will be issued from time to time indicating the Delivery Schedule of the materials. Delivery Schedule indicating in the Release Order will be considered for levying the penalty towards delayed supplies. The Company is at liberty to alter the delivery dates on the lesser side to suit its needs as and when necessity arises, during the pendency of the contract

Penalty for delay in supplies i.e. 0.5% Per week initially for four weeks thereafter at the rate of 2% per week subject to Maximum of 10% of the basic price of the materials

KAVIKA is registered in TReDS (Invoice Mart) which is an agency bridging between Buyer and seller and coordinate with banking system to discount the invoice value immediately after the trading by means of TReDS set up as per the Reserve Bank of India notification

Payment of Invoices outstanding between 30 to 45 days from the date of material acceptance at store may be facilitated through TReDS platform Invoice Mart. The supplier may be required to register in TReDS platform Invoice Mart and upload all such invoices in TReDS platform Invoice Mart for processing the payments. The terms of the discounting shall be governed by TReDS guidelines and mutually accepted terms at the time of transaction. However, in cases where payment through TReDS Invoice Mart of such bills cannot be effected due to system constraints/platform related issues/technical issues/exhaustion of limits, KAVIKA may process payments of such bills directly, subject to internal financial arrangements by availing discount of 2 PERCENT on the bill amount. Further, the payment of Invoices outstanding beyond 60 days from the date of material acceptance at store KAVIKA may process payments directly subject to internal financial arrangements by availing discount of 2 PERCENT on the bill amount

Payment is subject to receipt and acceptance of Materials at KAVIKA stores in good condition of the consignment and on receipt of the suppliers Invoice (In duplicate) along with other relative documents specified in the order. No Overdue interest will be paid on whatsoever reason. Delivery should not be linked to payment and Payment to Tenderer is subject to release of payment to KAVIKA from ESCOMs

The bidders must invariably upload only the required documents in the specific slots. The documents uploaded elsewhere in different slots wouldnot be taken into consideration, as provided in the eprocurement portal

Technical Criteria

Past Experience

The tenderer should not be in Blacklist or Defaulter in any department of the Government of INDIA/Karnataka/ESCOMS

The Tenderer should be a manufacturer/dealer and have supplied minimum 30% of the tendered quantity indicated in the section-V in any one year during the last 5 (Five) years to any Power Utility of State or Central Government Transformer Manufacturers. Or any public and private sector units Those who do not upload the copies of Purchase Order for the required quantities will not be considered for opening of price bid

The tenderer should declare that he is capable of supplying at least 25% of the tender Quantities per month specified in the section-V

Tenderer who is participating for the first time to KAVIKA, Tenderer has to submit along with the tender, the details of complete company profile duly attested by the officer concerned. Applicable for Manufacturer, KAVIKA Technical Team may visit the company and certify that the company is capable to manufacture as per our requirement. Applicable for Manufacturer,The tenderer shall get the sample approved by KAVIKA before placement of Purchase Order Applicable for new Tenderer
