Design, supply, installation, testing and commissioning of Combined Wastewater Treatment Plant based on Physio -Chemical Followed by MBBR Technology 200 KLD capacity Bone & Joint Hospital outside premises of CD & TB Hospital, GMC Hospital, Jammu on Turnkey basis (Civil work and electro-mechanical equipments) with total effluent handling capacity of 200 m3 per day. The raw effluent collection/ equalization sump with screen shall be a part of the Combined Wastewater Treatment Plant. The Combined Wastewater Treatment Plant shall be designed as water retaining structures as required by the manufacturer's design. The Plant shall be complete with a central Electrical Power and Control panel fully pre/site wired and with all power and control cables to all pumps and equipment including all instrumentation, water level controllers and other controls. All the equipment, piping, pumps, blowers and electrical are to be housed in a plant room to be built as per actual site requirement. G.I./ MS (epoxy coated) puddle flange, inlet, outlet overflow, vent, M.S. cover, drain channel with M.S. gratings, rungs, sump to house pumps will be included. Nature of Effluent: Waste from Laboratory & Laundry with sewage from toilet use and kitchen waste etc The Rates will include all electro-mechanical equipments i.e. pumps, piping, valves, controls, reactor and tube settler media, blowers, diffusers, central Electrical Power and Control panel with all power and control cables to all pumps and equipment including all instrumentation, water level controllers and other controls. BASIC DATA ON INFLUENT RAW WASTE WATER Total Suspended Solids (TSS): 300 mg/lit BOD: 200 - 450 mg/lit COD: 400 - 700 mg/lit pH: 7.0 - 8.0 Oil / Grease: upto 50 mg/lit Colour: Mixed Colour Turbidity: Mild Turbid Inflow time: 24 HRS Peak factor: 3 Temperature: Ambient TREATED WATER QUALITY As stipulated by State Pollution Control Board (PCB), the treated effluent quality shall be within the following values for various parameters, for both present & future. pH: 6.5 – 7.5 Total Suspended Solids (TSS): <5 mg/lit BOD5: <5 mg/lit COD: <10 mg/lit Oil / Grease: Nil Colour: Clear Turbidity: < 5 ntu Odor: unobjectionable The Plant shall be designed based on the attached details and parameters. The capacities of various tanks and pumps are guidelines to the vendor. The contractor has to submit detailed calculations of system and equipment he proposes to install. The inlet of raw effluent pipe is about 1.5 meter from ground level. However, the exact Invert level of incoming effluent should be taken before start of work. The Combined Wastewater Treatment Plant should follow all the concern Indian and Local norms. The Contractor shall have to submit detailed civil GA drawings (Plan & Section), P & I diagram, schematic diagram and shop drawings of the plant indicating all sleeves etc for the various component and additional component if so required for the complete working of the Combined Wastewater Treatment Plant also indicating all components in plant room required for present & future expansion including recycle supply pumps for flushing and horticulture. The drawings will have to be submitted to Engineer In Charge for approval before start of work.
Bar Screen Chamber fitted with Bar Screen: Supply, installation, testing and commissioning of Manual Bar Screen made of Stainless Steel 304 grade with clear opening of 10-25 mm, for trapping large size floating impurities from incoming effluent in bar screen chamber of RCC (M30 Grade) of required size.
Oil & Grease Chamber cum Equalization Tank: Construction, testing and commissioning of Oil & Grease Chamber in RCC (M30 Grade) construction of required size, using slotted pipes collectors arrangements suitable for 200 KLD Combined Wastewater Treatment Plant as required.
Construction, testing and commissioning of Equalization Tank of RCC (M30 Grade) of required size and depth below invert level.
Raw Sewage Pumps: Supply, installation, testing and commissioning of raw Sewage lifting pumps to pump effluent/sewage from equalization tank to Coagulation tank with casing of cast iron complete with pressure gauge, NRV & control valve capable of delivering 10 KL per hour effluent at min. head of 10 m & solid handling capacity of 35 mm with low & high level sensors/switches for Auto ON/OFF, continuous duty, suitable for operation on 415 volt 50 Hz, 3 phase AC supply having a minimum horse power rating necessary to drive above pump -(1W + 1S).
Supply, installation, testing and commissioning of Coagulation and flocculation system consisting of following: a) Supply, installation, testing and commissioning of Coagulation and Flocculation cum flash mixture tank suitable capacity for coagulation and flocculation of 10 KL flow with all accessories and arrangement for proper mixing of the effluent.
b) Supply, installation, testing and commissioning of Lime dosing system consisting of electro-magnetic dosing pump of capacity 6 liter per hour and head 3.0 kg per cm2. The unit shall consist of one no. 100 litters HDPE/ LDPE tank for solution preparation with complete set of pipes, valves and fittings i/c connections as required.
c) Supply, installation, testing and commissioning of Alum dosing system consisting of electro-magnetic dosing pump of capacity 6 liter per hour and head 3.0 kg per cm2. The unit shall consist of one no. 100 litters HDPE/ LDPE tank for solution preparation with complete set of pipes, valves and fittings i/c connections as required.
d) Supply, installation, testing and commissioning of Poly Electrolyte dosing system consisting of electro-magnetic dosing pump of capacity 6 liter per hour & head 3.0 kg per cm2. The unit shall consist of 1 no. 100 litters HDPE/ LDPE tank for solution preparation with complete set of pipes, valves and fittings i/c connections as required.
e) Supply, Installation, Testing and Commissioning of Fabricated Agitator with Base, suitable HP Motor, Gearbox, Four blades pitched paddle turbine type impeller etc. complete in all aspect to agitate the chemical mixed effluent at the speed of 75 to 100 RPM, all wetted part of the system should be in SS.
Primary Settling System: Supply, installation, testing and commissioning of Primary Settling tank suitable capacity for settling of 10 KL flow with all accessories and arrangement i.e. hopper bottom, baffle wall, launder, media support etc. complete with all aspect including settling media as per direction of Engineer In Charge.
MBBR Reactors: Supply, installation, testing and commissioning of two nos. of MBBR Reactors with suitable capacity for retention of 3 hrs flow at least with all accessories and arrangement i.e. media retention sieves, puddle flange, perforated vertical pipe in each tank to flow effluent further for process etc. complete with all aspect as per direction of Engineer In Charge.
MBBR Media: Supplying, filling and commissioning of MBBR media made of virgin poly propylene plastic with specific surface area not less than 400 M2 / M3 of media to support the growth of biomass required in the reactors for each 200 KLD Combined Wastewater Treatment Plant as required.
Air blowers for MBBR Reactors, Equalization tank & Sludge Holding Tank : Supply, installation, testing and commissioning of Twin Lobe design type air blower of complete with belt driven induction motor of 1500 RPM, continuous duty, designed for operation on 415 volt , 50 Hz, 3 phase AC supply, having a minimum horse power rating necessary to drive the above blower, along with accessories like rigid CI casing & side plates, silencer, base plate, Anti-friction bearings, Rotary oil sealing having horizontal configuration, common base frame, suction filter , non return valve, V belt, safety valve, belt guard, drive and driven pulleys, pressure gauge, inter connection piping, anti vibration pads as required- (1W + 1S) Rating of Air Blowers. i) Capacity of Air Blower - 200 m3 / hr. ii) Flow pressure - 0.4 kg / sq.cm
Air Diffusion System: Supply, installation, testing and commissioning of Air diffusion system for Equalization Tank & Sludge Holding Tank with coarse bubble diffusers system with HDPE/PP (10 kg/cm2 rating) pipe grid with necessary holes in laterals pointing downward.
Supply, installation, testing and commissioning of Air diffusion system for MBBR Reactors with Fine bubble diffusers system with HDPE/PP (10 kg/cm2 rating) pipe grid with necessary holes in laterals pointing downward.
Secondary Settling System: Supply, installation, testing and commissioning of Secondary Settling tank suitable capacity for settling of 10 KL flow with all accessories and arrangement i.e. hopper bottom, baffle wall, launder, media support etc. complete with all aspect including settling media as per direction of Engineer In Charge.
Hypochlorite Dosing System: Supply, installation, testing and commissioning of Hypochlorite dosing system consisting of electro-magnetic dosing pump of capacity 6 liter per hour and head 3.0 kg per cm2. The unit shall consist of one no. 100 litters HDPE/ LDPE tank for solution preparation with complete set of pipes, valves and fittings i/c connections as required.
Alum Dosing System: Supply, installation, testing and commissioning of Alum dosing system consisting of electro-magnetic dosing pump of capacity 6 liter per hour and head 3.0 kg per cm2. The unit shall consist of one no. 100 litters HDPE/ LDPE tank for solution preparation with complete set of pipes, valves and fittings i/c connections as required.
Clarified Water Collection Tank: Supply, installation, testing and commissioning of clarified water collection tank for suitable capacity for retention of 2 hrs with all accessories and arrangement for proper contact time hypochlorite and alum, puddle flange, for drain, fill, output connection, air vent, manhole etc.
Sludge Recirculation Pumps: Supply, installation, testing and commissioning of sludge recirculation pumps to pump re-circulate sludge from Primary settling tank to sludge holding tank and from secondary settling tank to MBBR reactor for re-circulating and sludge holding tank for further thickening with casing of cast iron complete with pressure gauge, NRV and control valve capable of delivering 10 KL per hour at minimum head of 10 m & solid handling capacity of 7 mm with level sensors/switches for Auto ON/ OFF, continuous duty, suitable for operation on 415 volt 50Hz, 3phaseAC supply having a minimum horse power rating necessary to drive the above pump -(1W + 1S).
Sludge Holding Tank: Supply, installation, testing and commissioning of Sludge holding tank for suitable capacity with all arrangement for air thickening, puddle flange, for drain, fill, output connection, air vent, manhole etc.
Non clogging type horizontal screw type filter press feed pumps capable of handling solids upto 8 mm having capacity 2 cum/hr at 40 meter head to feed filter press having C.I. MOC complete with all accessories, Pressure gauge on delivery line with isolation cock, level controller (with wiring) to control the level of sump automatically (1W + 1S).
Providing, fixing, testing and commissioning of filter press with manual operation mechanism, for drying the organic sludge from tube settler of 13 nos of 24"x 24" sizes PP/PVC plates. The filter press should be with filter cloth, hydraulic type closing, effluent water tray, sludge disposal tray complete in all respects.
Filter Feed Pumps: Supply, installation, testing and commissioning of centrifugal mono block, Non submersible filter feed pumps to pump water from filter feed tank to sand filter with casing of cast iron, other parts like impeller, shaft sleeve wearing ring of non-corrosive metal like bronze /stainless steel/gun metal and shaft of stainless steel complete with pressure gauge, NRV and control valve capable of delivering 10 m3/ hr clear water at minimum head of 30 m with speed of 2900 RPM, continuous duty, designed for operation on 415volt, 50 Hz, 3 phase, AC supply, having a minimum horse power rating necessary to drive the above pump - (1W+1S).
Multi Grade Sand Filter for 200 KLD capacity: Supply, installation testing and commissioning of multi-grade Pressure Sand Filter for filtration of treated water. Filter shall be suitable for 10 m3/hr flow rate & designed to operate for round the clock operation. The filter vessel shell will be fabricated Fibre glass Reinforced Plastics (FRP)/ Glass Reinforced Plastics (GRP). The filter shall be fitted with inlet distribution and bottom collector. Complete set of valves, pressure gauge with Sampling cocks, back wash arrangement, man holes of required size, air vent and frontal uPVC/HDPE pipe work with butterfly/multiport valves complete as required. The filtration unit shall comply with the following technical requirements: Filtration rate - 10 Cum / Hr Back wash duration - Once in 24 hours for 20 min Filtering Media - Multi grade of Anthracite / Sand / Pebbles as specified. Pressure drop across unit. - 1.0 Kg / sq.cm (max) Tested Pressure - 7.5 kg/cm2
Activated Carbon Filter (ACF) for 200 KLD Capacity: Supply, installation testing and commissioning of multi-grade Pressure Sand Filter for filtration of treated water. The filter shall be suitable for 10 m3/hr flow rate and designed to operate for round the clock operation. The filter vessel shell will be fabricated Fibre glass Reinforced Plastics (FRP)/ Glass Reinforced Plastics (GRP). The filter shall be fitted with inlet distribution and bottom collector. Complete set of valves, pressure gauge with Sampling cocks, back wash arrangement, man holes of required size, air vent and frontal uPVC/HDPE pipe work with butterfly/multiport valves complete as required. Treated Water Storage Tank: Supply, installation, testing and commissioning of Treated water Storage tank for suitable capacity with all arrangement for puddle flange, for drain, fill, output connection, air vent, manhole etc.
Treated Water Transfer Pump: Supply, installation, testing and commissioning of centrifugal mono block, Non submersible filter feed pumps to pump water from filter feed tank to sand filter with casing of cast iron, other parts like impeller, shaft sleeve wearing ring of non-corrosive metal like bronze /stainless steel/gun metal and shaft of stainless steel complete with pressure gauge, NRV and control valve capable of delivering 20 m3/ hr clear water at minimum head of 30 m with speed of 2900 RPM, continuous duty, designed for operation on 415volt, 50 Hz, 3 phase, AC supply, having a minimum horse power rating necessary to drive the above pump - (1W+1S).
Inter Connecting Piping / Valves: Supply, installation, testing & commissioning of Interconnecting piping of Mild Steel C class/uPVC & Valves etc. for connecting complete system as required.
Water Meter: Supply Installation, testing & commissioning of Electro-Magnetic Flow meter with Totalizer at inlet and outlet of the Plant.
Earthing: Earthing with G.I. earth pipe 4.5 meter long, 40 mm dia including accessories, providing masonry enclosure with cover plate having locking arrangement and watering pipe etc. with charcoal /coke and salt as required.
Providing & fixing 25 mm X 5 mm G.I. strip on surface or in recess for connections etc. as required.
Cabling: Supplying and fixing of suitable sizes armoured XLPE copper wire cable required for whole Combined Wastewater Treatment Plant on wall/ floor/tray for connecting various pumps / motors to Control panel as required. 1) The above work also includes all minor/ major items which may not have been mentioned above but are essential to achieve final out put quality of water and includes operation and maintenance of plant for one year during the defect liability period as mentioned in the agreement conditions. 2) C/o room of size 3m x 3m including one entry door & two windows and executed as per applicable CPWD Specifications. 3) Proper shade for all equipments as required. 4) Testing of quality of treated water as per design parameters from NABL/PCB approved testing Lab.
Sewerage Supplying Network: Excavating, trenching, supplying, laying, backfilling & finishing back the road/ground of sewerage supplying network the waste water to be brought from across road under construction Bone & Joint Hospital outside the premises of CD & TB Hospital Jammu. 1. External Effluent pipe line, with Chamber or manhole –Approx: 550m for connecting various labs of Govt. Bone & Joint Hospital Jammu. 2. External Sewage pipe line, with Chamber or manhole –Approx: 520m for connecting sewage of Govt. Bone & Joint Hospital Jammu. 3. The job also includes connecting treated effluent water from the plant for necessary use where required.
