REPAIR / REPLACEMENT OF LT POLES, POLE PAINTING AND ALLIED ITEMS, INCL TREE PRUNING, SUB STATION MAINT AT NEW CANTT UNDER GE(N) PATIALA

Trimming/ lopping branches of tree touching to LT/HT OH lines not exceeding 30 cm girth , shrub, vegetation, brushwwod and saplings at least upto 3 M from outer edge of ACSR including removing of braches of trees etc. to a distance exceeding 100 m and not exceeding 150 M complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-charge.

Site cleaning in soft/loose soil of surrounding areas of 2/4 poles,plinth mounted transformer / E/M substation including removing of tree branches, plants, brushes etc. Complete all as specified.

Dismantling of Concrete of any description and in any position otherwise specifically provided for pole coping and Compleate all as directed by Engr-in-charge.

M&L Stay Assembly for electric poles with 20 mm dia stay rod , loop type insulator, stay clamps, excavation, earth work and concrete complete all as specified and shown in electrical plate No. 01 of SSR Part I. ( loop type insulator will be measured and paid separately)

Dismantling Galvanised earth conductor , service feeder or distributor span, guard wire with cradles complete all as specified.

S&F guard wire and Cradles, hexagonal/ rectangular, fabricated with galvanised steel wire 4 mm dia.including binding with MS wire of suitable size complete all as specified.

Dismantling unserviceable stay assembly complete , setting aside including demolition of PCC and necessary excavation, and making good to disturbed surfaces complete all as specified.

Taking down of old existing unserviceable insulator any type and any size and complete all as specified.

S&F Insulator Pin type, pocrcelain , vitreous, white , brown or green, insulator including one galvanised mild steel spindle, two galvanised iron washers and one galvanised iron nut , 100mm height, 65 mm dia. For 1100 volts grade complete all as specified.

S&F insulator Shackle type, Porcelain vitreous , white, brown, white or green insulator including galvanised mild steel straps washers, insulator bolts, washers and nuts ; 1100 Volts working pressure, 100 mm height, 115 mm Maximum dia., with 31x5 mm galvanised steel straps and 14 mm dia. of bolts complete all as specified.

Supply and fix loop type insulators porclain shackle type vitreous white, brown or green of size 65x90mm overall dimension and 20mm clearence hole all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge,

Supply and fix reel type insulator, 40mm dia x 20mm high x 12mm hole all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge,

Taking down of old existing unserviceable danger notice board and S&F Danger notice plate 1.6 mm thick mild steel sheet, vitreous enamelled white , with letters, figures and conventional skull and bones in signal red colour and fixed with M.S. clamps , bolts and nuts of approved size, for LT , 20x15 cm size complete all as specified. Note:- FI clamps, nuts, bolts and washers etc. shall be deemed included in the unit rates quoted by contractor.

Taking down of old existing unserviceable danger notice board with Feeder Name and S&F Danger notice plate with feeder name of 1.6 mm thick mild steel sheet, vitreous enamelled white , with letters, figures and conventional skull and bones in signal red colour and fixed with M.S. clamps , bolts and nuts of approved size, for LT and HT , 25x20 cm size complete all as specified. Note:- FI clamps, nuts, bolts and washers etc. shall be deemed included in the unit rates quoted by contractor.

Taking down of existing old wornout disbanded mild steel cross arms Cross arms , bracings, supports, clamps and back plates fabricated from structural steel sections including nuts, bolts, washers, welding , bending cold or hot , drilling holes for bolts, in any shape or size, complete all as specified and directed.

M&L Cross arms , bracings, supports, clamps and back plates fabricated from structural steel sections including nuts, bolts, washers, welding , bending cold or hot , drilling holes for bolts, in any shape or size as indicated or directed and inclusive of one primer coat , one under coat and one finishing coat of synthetic paint complete all as specified and directed.

Taking down of existing unserviceable anticlimbing device and M&L Anti-climbing device; spikes type fabricated out of M.S. bars (round, square and flat) including nuts, bolts, washers and welding in two halves made to shape to suit the cross section of the pole all as specified and directed.

Releasing the binding of ACSR conductor of OH lines from insulator , removing the jumper, connector, service wire, disconnecting the connection of UG cables and restretching of existing HT/LT OH lines , any size, length and span upto desired sag as designed and directed by Engineer-in-Charge and rebinding the ACSR Conductor on insulator , reconnecting the UG cable etc complete all as specified. (Note :- Linear length centre to centre of the poles multiplied by No(s) of line wire restretched shall only be measured for the purpose of payment)

Dismantling of ACSR from overhead lines service feeder or distributor span all as specified and directed.

Supplying only aluminium conductor steel reinforced (ACSR) of any size for HT/LT poles all as specified and directed.

Supplying, transporting, erecting and fixing Steel tubular swaged poles complete with cast iron base plate, finial taper plug, bolts, nuts & screws as specified type 410 SP-31 (9.00 metres long) complete all as directed by engr-in-charge.

Dismantling concrete poles/ struts, any size from ground after necessary excavation etc and removing including making good disturbed ground complete all as specified

M&L for preparation of surfaces erected steel tubular swaged poles of LT over head line ( Except embedded portion) , 9 M long including all MS work mounted on pole , earth protection & water pipe ( if exists) and providing one coat of aluminium paint and providing 05 Nos bands/ straps with two coats of Retro Reflective paint ( black, green and red 20 cm wide each) from top of plinth block and numbering of poles with white Retro Reflective paint on yellow Retro Reflective piant ground (50mm wide and 100mm high letters) including encircling the letters or figures complete all as specified and directed

S&F FRP pole mounting type junction box factory made of size 300x200x105mm with front openable hinged door , locking arrangements, with 4 Nos aluminium bus bars 40 Amps rating mounted on porcelain insulator, cable glands and lugs consisting DIN type rails for fixing MCB SP 6/10 Amps, 10 kA, suitable for domestic loading -01 no. including mild steel flat iron clamp made out of 40x4mm FI, nuts, bolts and washers duly painted with two coats of synthetic enamel paint over a coat of red oxide primer complete all as specified.(MCB shall not be measured and paid separately and shall deemed included in the unit rate)

Dismantling/Taking down the existing unserviceable sign board and S & F sign board of size 6.1 x 1.2 meter with 8 inch lasure cut yellow colour letters having LED strip light emebbeded on board with blue base including suitable MS stand structure, 4 legs, nut bolt and washers at power houses complete all as directed by engr-in-charge.

Dismantling of existing PG clamps and S&F GI PG clamps of suitable size with proper nut,bolt, washesrs arrangements at yard structures with proper conductor connections. Note; contactor will inform one day prior to work execution and Proper Shutdown will be provided

Supply & Laying jointing, testing and commissioning LT XLPE, 120 Sqmm, 3.5 core PVC insulated, PVC sheathed armoured LT 1100 volt grades heavy duty with aluminium stranded conductor through pipes, in duct, on poles, in trenches etc complete all as directed by engr-in-charge.

All as per item no 32 but size 70 Sqmm, 3.5 core.

All as per item no 32 but size 50 Sqmm, 3.5 core.

All as per item no 32 but size 35 Sqmm, 3.5 core.

All as per item no 32 but size 10 Sqmm, 4 core.

All as per item no 32 but size 16 Sqmm, 4 core.

M & L for Compression/crimping type sleeve joints for jointing conductors/ jumper connections including treatment with conducting jelly complete all as directed by engr-in-charge.

Excavation in treches in soft/loose soil n. exc. 1.5 meter wide and n. exc. 1.5 mtr depth and getting out, including trimming the sides and forming bottom surface to required levels for fixing pole/stay assembly and laying/taking out cables complete all as specified and directed.

Returning, filling trenches including spreading, levelling, watering and well ramming in layers n. exc. 25 cm thick complete all as specified and directed.

Removing of excavated material (soil) to a distance n. exc. 50 Mtr and dispositing where directed at a level n. exc. 1.50 Mtr above the starting point complete as directed.

M & L Sand cushioning to UG cables (8cm deep before laying of cable and 15 cm deep over the cable). Note :- Punned thickness only will be considered for payment.

M & L Bricks for protection cover to under ground cable (with standard size fly ash bricks) with width equal to length of brick laid dry and flat abutting each other complete all as specified and directed.

Supply & fixing or laying galvanised steel tubing 80mm bore medium grade (ISI marked) for protection of under ground cable on poles/ walls under road crossing etc including dismantling and taking down existing pipe complete all as specified and directed.

All as per item no 44 but size 50mm bore

M & L for boring in any type of soil under road 1.5 Mtr below the top surface of road by conventional method complete for passing through 40mm to 80mm dia GI pipe and filling earth after laying of pipe including disposal of surplus soil complete all as specified and directed. NOTE :- Pipe will be measured and paid for separately . Any damage to existing cables of any type and road will made good by the tenderer without any extra payment.

M&L for PCC (1:3:6) type C2 using 40mm graded stone aggregated as in foundation, filling and mass concrete using necessary form work complete all as directed by Engr-in-Charge.

M&L for PCC (1:4:8) type D2 using 40mm graded stone aggregated as in foundation, filling and mass concrete using necessary form work complete all as directed by Engr-in-Charge.

All as per item srl No 39 but in depth beyond 1.5 Mtr and n. exc 3.00 Mtr and taking out in any type of soil.

Dismantling of existing street lights including bracket from PCC pole & fix on steel pole including electrical connections compleate all as specified and directed by Engr-in--Charge

Supply and fix automatic street light control switch panel three phase 6-12 KW, 32/40 Amps TPN/TP, digital timer switch, using infrared sensor based nature switch for automatic switching of street lights. Nature switch operation should be based on Natural light lux level. The sensor along with suitable power contactors and incoming out going MCBs should be enclosed pole/wall mounted thermo plastic polycarbonate enclosure conforming to IP 66 protection class 2 complete all as directed by Engr-in-Charge. Supply and fixing PVC insulated copper cable 2.5 sqmm 3 core multi stranded flexible 1100 volts complete all as specified and directed

S&F in repairs 3 Mtr Clear height Decorative Ornamental Pole duly PU (Poly Urethane) Painted (RAL color code as per client choice), made of high tensile Steel Pipe, Galvanised before PU Painting. Pole shall be in minimum 2 Sections, where Bottom section dia-114mm minimum upto 1200mm height from base plate. Top section dia-60mm minimum.
