PART - I - CIVIL WORKS

Providing and fixing 0.5 mm (minimum) thickness GI CRCA sheet pre coated with high durable polyetser painted, at all floors, levels & locations, manufactured by approved manufactuter, the base metal shall be CRCA steel as per IS:513, having minimum yield strength of 240 MPa and minimum UTS of 280 MPa galvanized to 120 gsm zinc coating mass (total both sides) as per IS : 277, conforming to AS:35366 class 3 of Rustshield/ Corroshield, having approved colour, shade and profile, fixing the sheet using SS self tapping screws of suitable length @ 450 mm C/C (both ways as per availability of member) with drill machine including heavy quality bituminious / EPDM / neoprene washer, over structural steel members frame work over terrace including providing & fixing necessary ridges, gabels, valleys, gutters sections and including wastage, overlapps as per manufacturer's specifications, cutting, labour, scaffolding, machines, lifting, fixing etc complete all as per specifications, drawings and as directed by EIC. The total thickness of sheet, inclusive of all chemical treatment, primer and finished coats shall not be less than 0.50 mm. Mode of measurement: Actual area of roof coverings including ridges, eaves, gutter etc. after fixing shall be measured for payment. Corrugation, overlaps shall not be measured for payment.

Removing & refixing of Existing CRCA sheets at all floor and locations, including on site bending at required profile /shapes & sizes, including necessary ridges and gable ends, valley, fixing the sheet with self tapping SS Screws fixed with machine with bituminous washers/ GI bolt of 8 mm dia., at all levels including necessary scaffolding etc. complete all directed by Engineer- in- Charge.

Providing and laying in position, at all floors and at all levels & locations plain cement concrete of grade as specified below including machine mixing, consolidation, finishing, curing and including cost of form work, shuttering, centering etc. complete all as per specifications and directed by EIC. (Note:- Reinforcement provided if any shall be measured & paid under relevant item.)

Cement concrete of 1:1.5:3 at all levels (1 cement, 1.5 crushed sand, 3 graded stone aggregate of nominal size 20 mm)

Dismantling carefully the existing Brickwork, PCC, waterproofing etc by chiseling without damaging existing structure including disposing off debris outside colony etc complete all as directed by the EIC.

Providing & fixing stainless steel Anchor fastner as specified below of Hilti make HSL-3 or its equivalent including drilling holes to required depth, cleaning the same and fixing of fastner in proper position at all levels etc. complete all as per drawing/ sketch, specifications and as per direction of the Engineer- in- Charge.

12 mm dia and upto 130 mm long

Structural steel work at all floors, levels and locations in grills, guard bars for windows, frames, Fence, pit/ trench covers, cover bracket for slanting chajja, trap door, railing, balcony hand railing, hoisting hooks, smoke vents etc. using angles, channels, I-Section, tees, flats, bars, chequered plates, plain plates, hollow section, bright bars etc. of required sizes including supplying, cutting, fabricating, welding, erecting, making holes/ chases wherever required and fixing / embedding in position in concrete/ brickwork/blockwork/ marble/ granite stone with necessary hold fasts/ stainless steel screws & rawl plugs by drilling etc. and finishing the concrete/ brick work/ blockwork after fixing/ embedding including painting two coats of anti corrosive bitumastic paint on all unexposed surfaces and two coats of synthetic enamel paint of approved make and colour on all exposed surfaces over a coat of approved zinc chromate primer etc. complete as per specifications, drawings and as directed by the Engineer in charge. Note:- All structural steel work shall be as per latest version IS:800 & IS:806. All Rectangular and Square Hollow Sections (RHS & SHS) shall be conforming to latest version of IS:4923. All rolled sections shall be of Grade E-250 and conforming to latest verison of IS:2062. Welding shall be as per IS:816 & IS:6227.

Using structural steel sections of specified grade (YSt 240 / 310)

Cement plastering 20mm thick using factory manufactured pre mix/ready mix mortar in CM 1:4 of 'Roofit Mix'of M/s Premier Floor to Roof Materials pvt.ltd/ 'Easy plast' of M/s Walplast Products pvt.ltd/ 'Readiplast' of M/s Ultratech Cement Ltd or other approved equivalent make, having minimum composition of C:S :: 1:4 using fully treated dry, well graded natural sand conforming to IS 383 suitable for external plastering, having low rebound properties, low water demand for curing properties, mechanical mixing with water in a metallic tray only to make good consistency as per the specification of the Manufacturer, including membrane curing by applying one coat of factory made curing compound Resikure of M/s Anuvi Chemicals, Concure of M/s fosroc, Dr. Fixit curing compound as per manufacturer's specification including removing of damaged plaster at all levels complete all as per specifications and as directed by EIC.

Brick masonry work using well burnt bricks from approved lot of class designation 3.5 (classification as per IS:1077-1992 and min. average compression strength not less than 3.5 N/mm2, as specified) using ready mix mortar (1.4), to correct line, level and plumb including raking out joints, curing, scaffolding all as per specifications, drawings and as directed by Engineer in charge.

Providing & erecting double bamboo scaffolding using minimum 75 mm dia best quality bamboo tied with coir rope & the horizontal & vertical members of the bamboos provided as required at spacing of not more than 900 mm apart both vertically & horizontally including providing cross supports as struts to tie the scaffolding properly to the building for works of external surfaces of buildings as & when required including providing necessary safety belts to workers, dismantling the scaffolding after work is completed including cost of transportation, labour, safety belts etc. complete all as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge. NOTE: The mode of measurement shall be in square metre for the overall portion of external exposed surface area of buildings covered by scaffolding and the said area shall be measured flat. No deductions shall be made for any openings in the surface and the jambs / reveals.
