REPAIRS TO CERTAIN MILITARY ROADS, BERMS AND ROAD MARKING PAINT IN RA AT CAD PULGAON

Repairs to pot holes any depth, not exceeding 1 sqm each including sweeping free from dust with mechanical equipment and mud or water, scoring sunken surfaces in roads, paths etc by using pressure air, cutting around edges to at least 25mm in depth, making good by filling in screened and graded road metal, watering and well ramming (including supply of road metal) complete all as specified and as directed.

Material & Labour for preparation of existing black top surfaces by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc., sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surface with gunny bags to remove all loose dirt and applying evenly a tack coat with bituminous primer using paving bitumen @ 5 kg per 10 Sqm with bitumen grade VG-30 including premixed asphaltic semi-dense concrete 40 mm consolidated thickness with 5.5% binder content (paving bitumen VG-30) by weight of total mix, Spread & levelled using mechanical paver, rolled and compacted to required camber and gradient using 8 to 10 tonne power roller, complete all as specified and as directed. Note: The work shall be executed by using hot mix plant and mechanical paver.

Material & Labour for preparation of existing black top surfaces and applying evenly a priming/tack coat with bituminous primer using paving bitumen @ 5 kg per 10 Sqm with bitumen grade VG-30 over black top surface, complete all as specified and as directed. Note: To be applied before laying bituminous mecadam.

M&L for premix bituminous macadam (consolidated thickness 50mm thick) with 4% binder content by weight of total mix (paving bitumen of grade VG-30), mixed in hot mixed plant and laid by using mechanical paver and rolled & compacted to required gradient and camber using 8 to 10 tonne power roller complete all as specified and as directed.

Material & Labour for painting lines, dashes, arrows etc, by applying 2.5mm thick thermoplastic road marking compound of white/yellow of approved make and shade for road marking (including glass beads 300 grams/Sqm), not exceeding 10cm width on bituminous roads/pavements or on concrete surfaces using,” Hot processor Plant” complete all as specified and as per manufacturer instructions. Note: Road marking paint shall be applied with mechanical equipment only.

S&F road studs of size 110mm x 128mm x 29.5mm aluminium alloy diecasted body dynamically designed to bear impact load up to 25 tonne and fixed with 2 Nos highly reflective reflectors and 2 Nos eye bolt each on both side as in repairs, complete all as specified and directed. Make:- 3M / Dark Eye Cat No. Da-971 or equivalent as approved by GE.

S&F solar road studs of size 125mm x 125mm x 25mm made from aluminium alloy and construction solar powered by nionocrystel solar panel with rechargeable battery of type-I high capacity Ni-Cd having back up of 12 hours of continuous lighting at night, with view distance of approximate 1000 mtr. LED 10mm three pieces on each side are used for high brightness of different colour, complete as per MOST/IRC specifications and manufacturer’s instructions, as in repairs, complete all as specified and directed. Make:- SINOR: Cat No. DA 110-DHRUV or equivalent as approved by GE.

Surface dressing not exceeding 15cm deep and getting out in hard/dense soil for road side berms to required gradient complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for 75 mm thick approved moorum/red bajari, in road berms, spread, levelled, rolled and consolidated to gradient and camber required with light roller of capacity not less than 0.50 tonne complete all as specified and as directed.
