CONSTRUCTION OF PEDESTRAIN PATH WITH PCC TILES ON INTERNAL ROADS OF REHABILITATION EWS COLONY OF 8448 FLATS ZONE 3 and 4 DHANAS, CHANDIGARH.

Taking out existing kerb stones of all types from footpath/ central verge, including removal of mortar etc., disposal of unserviceable material to the dumping ground, for which payment shall be made separately and stacking of serviceable material within 50 metre lead as per direction of Engineer-in-Charge.

Earthwork in excavation by mechanical means (Hydraulic excavator)/ manual means over areas ( exceeding 30cm in depth. 1.5m in width as well as 10 sqm on plan) encluding disposal of excavated earth, lead up to 50m and lift up to 1.5m, and encluding of disposed earth to be levelled and neatly dressed. All kinds of soil complete in all respect to the entire satisfaction of the Engineer-In-Charge. (DSR 2.6.1 deduct item No. 2.36 as per DSR)

Disposal of moorum/building rubbish/ malba/ similar unserviceable, dismantled or waste material by mechanical transport including loading, transporting, unloading to approved municipal dumping ground for lead upto 5 km for all lifts, complete as per directions of Engineer-in-charge. Note - item to be applicable in urban areas having directions for restricted hours for movement/ plying of load carrying motor vehicle of 3.5 cum or more.

Laying at or near ground level old kerb stones of all types in position to the required line, level and curvature, jointed with cement mortar 1:3 (1 cement : 3 coarse sand), including making joints with or without grooves (thickness of joints, except at sharp curve, shall not be more than 5 mm), including making drainage opening wherever required etc. complete as per direction of Engineer-in-charge.

Laying at or near ground level old channel of all types in position to the required line, level and curvature, jointed with cement mortar 1:3 (1 cement : 3 coarse sand), including making joints with or without grooves (thickness of joints, except at sharp curve, shall not be more than 5 mm), including making drainage opening wherever required etc. complete as per direction of Engineer-in-charge.

Providing and fixing PCC kerbs of size 1'-0" x1'-0" x 0'-6'' thickness at bottom and 0'-3” thickness at top duly vibrated, mechanically & compacted made of plain cement concrete 1:2:4 duly cured and finished. The rate further includes filling of joints between kerbs with cement mortar 1:4 (1 Cement: 4 coarse sand) after earth work in excavation/filling and removing the same from site of work complete in all respects and to the entire satisfaction of the Engineer-in-charge..

Providing and fixing Precasting plain cement concrete Channel of size 1'-0" x 1'-0" x 3" thick duly mixed, mechanically & compacted made of PCC 1:2:4 duly cured and finished. , jointed with cement mortar 1:4 (1 cement : 4 coarse sand), including making joints with or without grooves (thickness of joints, except at sharp curve, shall not be more than 5 mm), including making drainage opening wherever required etc. complete as per direction of Engineer-in-charge.

Providing and Laying of kerb of size 1'x1' having 4” thickness at bottom and 3” thickness at top and made of plain cement concrete 1:2:4 duly vibrated and compacted. The rates also includes fixing in position at or near ground level in position to the required line, level and curvature, jointed with Cement Mortar 1 : 4 (1 cement : 4 coarse sand) , including making joints with or without grooves (thickness of joints, except at sharp curve, shall not be more than 5 mm), including making drainage opening wherever required etc. complete as per direction of Engineer-in-charge.

Providing and laying in position cement concrete of specified grade excluding the cost of centring and shuttering - -All work upto plinth level: ( 1 Cement: 5 coarse sand : 10 graded stone aggregate 40 mm nominal size). DSR 4.1.10
