SECTION 1: SPL REPAIRS TO BLDGS AND OTHER SANCTIONED WORKS AT KARU

Dismantling wall & ceiling boards (fibre, insulation etc ) or insulation boards, slabs, blankets any thick ness including cover fillets all as specified & directed by the Engr-in-Charge.

Dismantling of timber scantling/fillets, rails, posts, rafters, purlings, etc in framed work under 40 sq cm in any position complete all as specified and directed by Engr in Charge

M&L for 2nd class hard wood Plain fillets exc 13 Sqcm but n exc 25 Sqcm in square, rectangular or triangular in section, clean sawn, secured with nails etc complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge

M&L for 9mm thick pre laminated particle board, interior grade, prelaminated one side with decorative choice lamination & other side balancing white lamination fixed with nails to timber frame works on walls complete all as specified and directed by Engr in Charge

M&L for 4mm thick (3 Nos of Ply) Veneered decorative plywood of grade 1 (with BWR resin) with one decorative veneers face, fixed with Nails to timber frame work on ceilings etc complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge

M&L for preparation of newly or previously untreated wooden/plywood surfaces and applying one coat of finishing coat of varnishing over one coat of undercoating, over 10 cm in width or girth complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge

M&L for 2nd class hard wood corner beading exc 6 but n exc 13 sqcm bullnosed splayed chamfered or rounded on one edge or face complete all as specified and directed by Engr in charge

Taking down of chowkhats with shutter (without taking of shutter from frame) including iron Mongries etc exc 1.5 sq. m but n exc 4 sq. m each complete all as specified and directed by Engr in Charge.

Taking down, refixing in same opening, resecuring or easing & adjusting, without taking down shutters of any description exc 1 sqm and n. exc 2 sqm removing of unserviceable complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge

S&F of second class hard wood plain, solid, straight chowkats and frames, wrought, framed rebated on the solid, rounded or chamfered, put together with glue pinned at joints, complete all as specified and directed by Engr in Charge

S&F of 35mm thick, flush shutters, solid core construction, with block board core and plywood face panels, commercial type on both sides complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge

S&F of 250mm length aluminium alloy, anodised sliding door bolt with hasp, staple (bolt type) and fixed clips of sheet, cast or extruded sections and fixing bolts and sliding bolts of extruded sections complete all as specified and directed by Engr in Charge

Supply and fix 125 mm size medium weight cold rolled mild steel butt hinges complete all as specified and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge

S&F of 200mm long, aluminium anodised barrel tower bolts of extruded section complete all as specified and directed by Engr in Charge

S&F 150 mm Extruded aluminium alloy handles, fabricated type, anodised all as directed by the Engr-in-Charge.

M&L for two coat of synthetic enamel (ordinary tint each coat) over a coat priming with pink primer on new or previously untreated wooden surfacecomplete all as specified and directed by Engr in Charge

M&L for two coat of synthetic enamel paint over a coat of priming with red oxide, zinc chrome of new or previously untreated surfaces of steel and iron surfaces of any description, over 10 cm in width or girth, not otherwise described complete all as specified and directed by Engr in Charge

Dismantling floor, hearth or wall tilling including cement mortar bedding (but not backing) removing serviceable tiles to store and rubbish off the premises complete

M&L Non skid coloured Ceramic tiles 7 to 8 mm thick (square/ rectangular) area of each tile exceeding 0.11 sqm but not exceeding 0.18 sqm, in floors etc. set and jointed in neat cement slurry and pointed in white or coloured cement to match over and including screed bed 15 mm thick in cement mortar 1:6 complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge

M & L for two coat of synthetic enamel paint of approved tint on steel and iron surfaces of any description over 10 cm width or girth not otherwise described including preparing new zinc(or galvanised) surfaces to receive painting by coating with mordant solution incl washing and cleaning, etc. over a coat of red oxide complete all as specified and directed.

Taking down carefully alluminium / copper point wiring complete for light, fan, socket or power point etc with fittings fixtures such as ceiling rose, holders, electric fittings, switchs, sockets, aluminium conductor cable with and incl wooden batten or FR PVC conduit and its accessories such as wooden gutties, rawl plugs, GI screws, aluminium clips, nails etc complete and removing the material from site and making good the disturbed surface of wall / floor/ ceiling etc as original i.e. brick work, plastering, white washing, OBD etc as required, complete all as specified and directed.

M&L point wiring complete One light / fan point controlled by one no, 1-way, 5 Amps switch. with single core FRLS PVC insulated, unsheathed, multi stranded copper conductor cables 1.5 Sqmm 1100 volts grade, with and incl 1.5 Sqmm FRLS PVC insulated, unsheathed, multi stranded copper conductor cables as continuous earth wire connected to metallic bodies of luminaries / fans etc at one end and to common earth dolly at other end, complete wiring drawn through & PVC casing and capping of 25 mm and above (as per conductor run ) medium grade, ISI marked, incl all accessories & fittings / junction boxes / inspection covers etc, with and incl concealed PVC box of suitable size flush with wall surface, covered with & incl 3 mm thick bakelite, laminated hylem sheet / Gang box for top cover suitable for fixing of piano type switches / sockets etc, complete all as specified and directed for the following :- (Note : The cost of PVC box with 3 mm thick bakelite, laminated hylem sheet top cover is deemed to be included in quoted rate.)

M& L for submain wiring using two runs of 4 sqmm single core PVC insulated cable with copper conductor multi stranded 1100 volts through new non metalic PVC casing capping including one run of 4 sqmm single core PVC insulated cable with copper conductor multi stranded copper earth wire in green colour, connection to DB with thimbling complete as specified and directed (Note: Two runs of sub main wire 4 sqmm including one run of 4 sqmm earth wire and rigid non metallic PVC casing capping shall be measured as one unit per RM.)

S&F of MCB, C Curve type, 10 kA, 6 to 40 Amp, Single Pole with over load and short circuit protection, complete all as directed.

Construction of stone masonary valve pit chamber of size 90cm x 90cm x 160 cm (internal dimension) including all necessary excavation and earth work in hard/dense soil and disposal of surplus soil to a distance not exceeding 50 metre as directed including PCC in foundation of the mixture (1:4:8) type D-2, stone masonry in cement mortor 1:4, rendering 15 mm thick in cement mortar 1:4 internally finished even and fair and pointing flush externaly as the work proceeds in the same mortar as of stone masonary including MS frame (made out of angle in 40x40x6mm) and MS steel cover 3.15 mm thick with handle and locking arrangement with hinges angle iron flat as required at site.

Supply, installation, testing and commissioning, in replacement, of Feeder Pillar box , cubical type, factory made, outdoor type, dust and vermin proof, fabricated out of mild steel sheet not less than 3.15 mm thick, and mild steel angle iron frame complete with openable shutters in front and rear having proper locking arrangement including 04 Nos legs made out of angle iron of suitable size and height of each leg shall be grouted in PCC. Feeder Pillar box shall be spray painted internally and externally with two coats of synthetic enamel paint over a priming coat of red oxide primer and connecting all incomming and outgoing cables with suitable size of Aluminium lugs complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge and comprising of following accessories/fittings. (a) MCCB 32 Amp three pole 10 KA 415 Volt = 01 Nos (I/C)

M&L for PVC insulated and sheathed multi strandard 3 core 25 sqmm flat 1100 volts grade electric copper submersible cable complete connection of motor all as specied and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

SECTION 2 : PROVISION OF HARD STANDING AT KIARI

Surface dressing n. exc 15cm deep in hard/dense soil.

M&L for Hardcore of gauge n exc. 63 mm, deposited, spread and levelled in layers n exc. 15 cm thick, watered and rammed to a true surface complete all as spd & directed.

M&L for cement concrete 100mm thick type D-2 using 40mm graded stone aggregate over rammed earth as in sub base to receive floor finish etc complete all as specified.

M&L for sand filling under floors or in foundation including watering and consolidation.

M&L for Machine pressed precast concrete interlocking paver block any shape & size confirming to IS 15658-2006 of 80 mm thickness M-40 grade with grey cement and pigment.

M & L for Providing, cement concrete in roof kerbs or mud stops, rounded or chamfered on edges type B1 1:2:4 (20mm graded aggregate)

Excavation in trenches n.exc 1.5 m wide and n.exc 1.5 m depth and n.exc 10 Sqm on plan and getting out in any kind of soil complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for PCC 1:4:8 type D2 (Nominal mix) using 40mm graded stone aggregate as in foundation filling and similar work complete.

M&L Precast cement concrete block masonry type C1 1:3:6 (20mm graded aggregate) with solid blocks, exc 10 cm in width and setting in cement mortar 1:6 complete all as specified.

Returning filling in incl spreading, watering and well ramming in layer n.exc 25 cm in layers complete all as specified.

Removing excavated material to a distance n.exc 50m and depositing where directed at a level n.exc 1.50 m above the starting point.

M&L for rendering 15mm thick, in cement mortar 1:4 on PCC block walling or concrete surfaces and finished even and fair without using extra cement complete.

M&L for two coats of cement base paint over a coat of white wash on walls after preparation of new-plastered surface complete, all as specified and directed.
