Demolition of cement concrete in ground floor and pavings n. exc. 15 cm thickness (below or above GL), complete all as specified and directed.

Demolition cement concrete (Unreinforced) in any description and in any position not otherwise specifically provided for complete all as specified and directed.

Demolition reinforced cement concrete (reinforcement cut as required to facilitate demolition) in any description and in any position not otherwise specifically provided for complete all as specified and directed.

Removing of old unserviceable water proofing treatment including screed bed and cleaning the surface of slab with wire brushes removing dust, foreign materials including flushing at junction of wall and removing the rubbish off the premises to a distance exc. 500m outside defence land complete all as directed by Engr-in-Charge.

M & L for water proofing treatment to RCC roof slab, walls, chhajjas etc, shall be carried out by providing the following provisions etc , complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. (a) M&L for providing 10mm thick plaster screed bed layer in CM (1:3) on concrete surfaces by using ready mix plaster. (b) Preparing plastered surfaces of roof slab, walls, chhajjas etc, by brooming with broom sweeping free from dirt dust etc & evenly applying a coat of approved bituminous primer @ 0.20 Kg/sqm. (c) M&L for laying APP polymer modified approved membrane, non-woven, polyester, weighing not less than 3.5 Kg/sqm with laps & overlaps as directed & joints sealed and applied complete by torch application method and on completion of roof treatment, carrying out test by flooding water on roof for 24 hrs for leakage & seepages. If any leakage / seepages observed after water proofing test the same be rectified to the entire satisfaction of Engr-in-Charge. (d) Finally applying a coat of solar reflective bituminous aluminium paint @ 0.15 litre /sqm on the top of membrane surfaces.

M&L for water proofing treatment to sunken slab, walls etc. shall be carried out with and including the following provisions as specified below and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge:- (a) M&L for 15mm thick plaster/screed bed layer in cement mortar (1:3) on concrete surfaces and using extra cement mixed with including approved make of WPC @ 3% by weight of cement. (b). Preparing plastered surfaces of sunken slab, walls, etc, by brooming with broom sweeping free from dirt dust etc & provide form angle fillet of size 40mm x40mm along the junction of wall and floor by using polymer modified mortar of “Dr fixit” Pidicrete URP” or equivalent as approved. (c). Sanitary pipes entering through walls and floor shall be sealed with “Dr Fixit Bathseal Tape” and the gaps to be grouted with non-shrink cementitious grout of “Dr Fixit Bathseal Grout” or equivalent as approved. Nahani traps etc to be fitted securely and the gaps around it to be grouting in the same manner complete all as directed by Engr-in-Charge.

(d) Apply one coat of a Bitumen-modified polymer coating of “Dr Fixit Bathseal Plus” or equivalent on all angle fillets by brush and cover it with 1.8mm open woven mesh when it is still wet. Apply second coat of the same coating on the angle fillets and allow it to dry completely. (e) In the remaining area, in dry substrate condition brush apply first coat of the same coating and further apply second coat when first is dry. Extend the coating up to 150mm above the FFL. Above FFL, another cementitious waterproofing coating of “Dr Fixit Pidifin 2K” or equivalent as approved be further applied right up to 2.1m to waterproof the shower area also, if it is a bathroom or bath cubicles of a sanitary annex and apply second coat after 6-8 hours and allow to dry completely.

(f). After 2 to 3 days, sunken portion must be overlaid with 50 mm thick concrete screed M-15 type B0 mixed with integral WPC (Liquid) laid to slope 1:60 towards outer face of wall. Provide 40mm OD UPVC pipe at the lowest point with 300mm projection beyond the outer face of the wall. Then fill up the sunken portion with lean concrete 1:5:10 type E2. (Note :- Lean concrete will be measured and paid separately) (g). Carrying out test by flooding water for 24 hrs for leakage & seepages and rectifying the same to the entire satisfaction of Engr-in-charge.

M&L for removing existing treatment from the crumple joint, cleaning the joint for dust, dirt etc fixing back up rod, applying primer, providing polyurethene sealant and covering with 1.5mm thick, 200mm wide EPDM rubber as per manufacturer’s instructions, complete all as directed. Make :- Seal 'N' flex manufactured by Bostik, ASO flex 45 manufactured by MYK Shomburj and Sika flex AP manufactured by Sika.

M&L for cement concrete 1:2:4 type B-1 using 20 mm graded stone aggregate as in levelling course of roof, chhajja coving and base slab of tank, complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for RCC 1:1.5:3 (Nominal Mix) type A-1 using 20 mm graded stone aggregate as in slabs, supported on walls, beams, shelves etc, complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for form work to soffits of suspanded flat slab such as roof slabs, floor slabs, landing, shelves and similar work n. exc. 200mm thick (horizontal or sloping), finished the surfaces fair, complete all as specified and directed.
