Schedule 'A' Part-I General Note as applicable for serial item No 2.00 & 3.00 of BoQ/Sch 'A' Contractors attention is hereby invited that estimated cost of serial item No 2.00 & 3.00 is Rs. 25,00,000.00 based on prevailing rates of Schedule of Minimum fair wages. Quoted amount against serial item No. 2.00 & 3.00 is less than the amount the work (Estimated of serial item No. 2.00 & 3.00 of BoQ/Sch 'A') then lowest bidder will have to deposit FDR in favour of Accepting Officer within 07 days from financial bid opened difference in Estimated cost & quoted amount of serial item No. 2.00 & 3.00 before evaluation of financial bid for acceptance of tender, failing which lowest tender will not be accepted. FDR submitted at the time of Acceptance of bidder will be realesed only after satisfactory proof of payment of deployed person under the respective serial item No. 2.00 & 3.00 of BoQ.

Manning and Operation of 33 KV Sub Station, One skilled labour (Electrician) in three shift of 8 hrs each for 24 hours continuous operation in a day (including Sunday/Hiliday) to maintain sub station in/out side HT Panels as specified, including daily and weekly check-up, monthly quarterly and half yearly maintenance as per Maint. schedule specified under particular specification with all minor consumable and expendable items and labour and tools for smooth and efficient operation all as specified and Directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Note for item No. 1 (a) The contractor shall take over all equipment in serviceable condition at the time of commencement of contract and shall hand over in the same state at the time of completion of contract period. Any damage/loss shall be made good by the contractor at the time of completion of contract. GE's decision will be final and binding.

Note for item No. 1 (Contd) (b) Daily cleaning of all Panels, transformers, recording meter readings. (c) Daily cleaning of all rooms viz floor, walls and ceiling fan including internal electrical fixtures. (d) No unauthorized person shall be allowed to enter in sub division. (e) 33 KV Sub Station will be operated 24 hours round the clock including Sunday/Hilidays. (f) All T&P insulating cloths, for operatorss, log-books, instruction board duly laminated for 'DO or "NOT DO" Fire safety instruction board etc. shall be provided by the contractor. (g) During maintenance & operation of 33 KV Sub station, any parts found defective and require to be replaced same will be measured under Schedule 'A' Part II. The fixing changes shall be deemed included in rates quoted under Sch 'A' Part. (h) Contractor shall be responsible for group insurance for eleven month of manpower deployed by him against the contract. (J) Contractor shall provided proper uniform of the operatior as deployed by him and dress code shall be approved by GE/AGE concerned. (k) Daily attendance register shll be maintained by both contractor and concerened JE and register weekly put up to concerned AGE for the record purpose. (l) Labour deployed by the contractor shall be responsible for complete area cleaing of 33 KV installation inside / outside all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Maintenance and operation of 11 KV network electrical system including CPH and LT electrical system including maintenance of HT/LT OH line, U/G cable, LT Panel and service connections cable 11/0.433 KV transformers, GOD 's, lightning arrestors, OCBs complete with attending breakdown 24 hours complete in three shifts each of 08 hours by deployinf Two electrician in each shift round the clock all as directed by Engr-in-Charge and the equipments as mentioned in Note No-2 of this schedule including to keep the the electrical installation fully operational and in healthy condition 24 hours daily including carrying out all daily maintenance all as directed by Engineer-in-Charge complete with the adequatd staff strength at Sub Station Jaisalmer.The shifts will be mentained as under :- (i) First Shift : 0600 hrs to 1400 hrs (ii) Second Shift : 1400 hrs to 2200 hrs. (iii) Third Shift : 2200 hrs to 0600 hrs.

Note No. 1: Contractor should organise his staff strength in such a manner that one day weekly off is available to each operator and each operator should not be deployed for more than one shift in a single day. Two Electrican shall be provided with suitable vehicle and driver having proper driving license (Camper/Eicher max vehicle run 65 KM/day) by the contractor for attending Electrical complaints, break down at different location at AF Station Jaisalmer. All the precautionary equipment like safety belt, earth rod, hand gloves, ladder, and T&P shall be provided by the contractor. No extra cost shall be admissible on this accounts.

Note No 2: The following equipments to be monitored regularly and if found mal functioning/defective to be intimated immediately to the Engineer-in-Charge for timely action. (a) Transformer Step down 11 KV/415 Volt Copper/Aluminium wound outdoor/indoor, DYN-11 group, Oil cooled manual operative, tap changeer, High oil/Winding temp, relays, capacity 50 KVA to 500 KVA- 50 Nos (b) HT OCB with PTS - 20 Nos (c) HT RMU - 15 Nos (d) Miscellaneous operating accessories :- (i) Drop out fuse set of three-40 Nos. (ii) Gang operated switch 11 KV horizontal type (Set of three)-06 Nos. (iii) Gang operated switch 11 KV vertical type (Set of three)-42 Nos. (iv) LA 11 KV (set of three)-48 Nos. (v) 11 KV O/H line on PCC/Tubular pole-10 KM. (vi) 11 KV HT/UG Cable-20 KM. (vii) HT Cable end joint and Indoor joint/straight through joints-60 Nos. (viii) LT/0.433 KV/O/H line on PCC/Tubular pole-15 KM. (ix) LT/UG Cables -20 KM. (x) LT Panels Board including MCCB and MCB-160 Nos. (xi) TPN DB with MCCB and MCB-250 Nos. (xii) All internal electric fittings/fixtures. (xiii) (m) Night shift duty person look out the Station Parameter lights/Tech units light and Domestic street light etc. Note No. 3: Electrician operator should be ITI qualified or having minimum five years of experience by a recognized govt institute and produce the documents and contractor shall be responsible for group insurance for eleven month of manpower installed by him against the contract.

Schedule 'A' Part-II M&L in replacement air break switch gang operated triple pole mechnically operated, mounted on insulator and steel frame, with (Verticle/Horizontal) operating mechanisum worked from ground level for current rating upto 400 Amps, 11000 volts, complete and testing on load complete all as specified and directed. Make : Jaipuria Brothers/Atlas/Pactial/BHEL or equivalent.

M&L for cable jointing kit for 11000 Volts (Earthed) grade HT cable for outdoor termination heat shrink type joint complete with jointing material and accessories suitable for XLPE armoured aluminium conductor cable of size 120 sqmm 3 core to 185 sqmm 3 core including dismantling & taking out old unserviceable cable jointing kit complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for cable jointing kit for 11000 Volts (Earthed) grade HT cable for outdoor termination heat shrink type joint complete with jointing material and accessories suitable for XLPE armoured aluminium conductor cable of size 50 sqmm 3 core to 95 sqmm 3 core including dismantling & taking out old unserviceable cable jointing kit complete all as specified and directed.

S&F MCCB, 4 Pole, 200 Amps rating, rupturing capacity 25 kA, 415 Volt grade, AC, 50 Hz, Magnetic fixed type and making connections using suitable size copper lugs/thimbles and crimping tool, including disconnecting & taking down old unserviceable MCCB, complete all as specified and directed. Make : Indo Asian Cat Part No. 830052/Legrand/Siemens.

S&F MCCB, 4 Pole, 250 Amps rating, rupturing capacity 36 kA, 415 Volt grade, AC, 50 Hz, Magnetic fixed type and making connections using suitable size copper lugs/thimbles and crimping tool, including disconnecting & taking down old unserviceable MCCB, complete all as specified and directed. Make : Indo Asian Cat Part No. 830052/Legrand/Siemens.

Complete shut down/ isolating of HT, incoming, safe opening of complete VCB incoming/outgoing thorough checking/testing of VCB mechanical interlocking system automatic, safety system, mechanical breaker closed/opening spring charge/discharge indication, isolating contacts, CT ratio, voltage transformer, electrical release coils for safe working complete and refixing the VCB after testing complete all as specified and directed. (The inspection and testing shall be carried out perferable from authorised representative of ABB/Crompton Greaves/Schneider makes of VCB) (Note : Spare parts shall be mesaured and paid for separately as supply)

S&F in replacement 33 KV, 400 Amp, post/pin insulator vertical type, double stack, porcelain vitreous, white, brown or green complete all as specified and directed.

S&F in replacement pin type insulator, vertical type, porcelain vitreous, white, brown or green for working pressure 1100 volts, 150mm height and 150mm dia including galvanized mild steel spindle, two Nos GI washers, one No GI nut complete all as specified.

S&F in replacement of disc type insulator, porcelain, vitreous 145 mm high 255 mm dia ball and socket type, white/brown/green, 11000 volt grade, single disc assembly for tension with tension clamp for conductor working pressure 11000 volt grade complete all as specified. Make : Jaipuria Brothers/BHEL or equivalent.

S&F in replacement of disc type insulator, porcelain, vitreous 145 mm high 255 mm dia ball and socket type, white/brown/green, two-in-series' assembly for tension with tension clamps for conductors, working pressure 11000 volts grade complete all as specified and directed. Make : Jaipuria Brothers/BHEL or equivalent.

Servicing of HT, 11 KV VCB/SF6 CB, relays including calibration of IDMT relays through primary and secondary injection method and testing complete re-setting where required and ensuring proper functioning of earth fault and overcurrent relays including removing carbon deposits from contact points, spraying CRC spray and tightening fixed and moving contacts and adjusting for smooth functioning including replacement of tripping and closing coils, 30V, DC and servicing solenoid switch complete all as directed.

Finding out the cable fault of any size and any capacity of cable with the help of cable fault locating machine mounting on vehicle and with necessary disconnection of cable from two ends and connection after repairs and having the following items with electrician at site upto length of 10 KM cable complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.
