REPLACEMENT AND UPGRADATION OF EXISTING 01 X 03 PHASE 63 KVA GENERATOR WITH 1 X 3 PHASE 125 KVA SILENT GENERATOR WITH PLINTH AND OVERHEAD SHELTER AMF PANEL CHANGEOVER AND 02 X 150 KVA STABILIZER WITH CANOPY AT HAPPY VALLEY SHILLONG AND SPECIAL REPAIR

Supply,install, testing and commissioning of Silent Diesel engine driven generating set 415 Volts 3 phase 4 wire engine as per BS 5514/ IS 10002 and alternator, DG Set as per IS : 13364 complete with relay panel for automatic starting on mains failure, control panel having meters, sound proof canopy and foundation etc for capacity 125 KVA as per ISO - 8528 conforming to the detailed specification as under:-

(a) Engine : The Diesel Engine shall be radiator water cooled, 154 BHP at 1500 RPM , Cylinder 6 Nos. Starting stopping : Electrical start with 12 V DC 1 x 90 AH, 12 V Exide / Prestolite Low Maintenance Battery,Mechanical governer , The fuel tank provided shall be suitably mounted on the base frame fabricated out of 16 SWG MS sheets and capacity to run the genset for 8 to 12 hours continuously on full load. Fuel tank shall have Drain plug, Hand hole for cleaning, vent breather, fuel suction and return connections, fuel level indicator fuel filling neck with cap etc as per the standards. The engine and alteranator shall be directly coupled to ensure perfect alignment. The engine and alternator shall be mounted on a common base frame with AVM pads all as per manufracturer CUMMINS / KIRLOSKAR / GREAVES.

(b) Alternator : Rating 100KW /125 KVA at 1500 RPM 415 V Phase to Phase and 240 Volt Phase to Neutral, 50 Hz 3 Phase 4 wire system alternato Screen protected / drip proof, self ventilating, self excited, self regulated, brushless, contineous duy protention IP 21 as per IS 13364 developing 125KVA at 0.8 PF. It shall have provision for 10% overload for one hour on every 12 hours, The alternator shall confirm to IS : 13364/BS5000

(c) Controls/Protection : (i) Low LOP fault indication (ii) Indication for Water Temparature, (iii) High Colant Temparature fault Indication, (iv) Failure to start fault indication (v) Battery Volage monitoring, (vi) Low Battery Indication, (vii) Fuel level Indication, (viii) Engine RPM meter, (ix) Engine run hours meter, (x) Voltage for all three Phases, (xi) Amper meter for measuring current in all three phase. (xii) Frequency meter indication, (xiii) Protection for Over/Under Voltage (xiv) Protection for Over/Under Voltage (xv) Electronic tamper proof KWH meter 3 phase, 4 wire system with suitable ratio CTs. (xvi) Oveload protection (xvii)Suitable capacity of Battery charger shall be provided in the control panel to charge the batteries when mains supply in availbale.(xvii) Safeties against low Lube oil Pressure, high coolant Temperature, over load under & over voltage, under & over frequency Auto Shut Down, Visual & Audio Alarm against fault. When the Gen set is running the battery will be charged from the charging alternator.

(d) Acoustic enclosure : (i) Shall be maticulously designed CNC Turret punch press and hydraulic press brake manufractured body out of corrossion resistant cold rolled steel 16 SWG CRCA / MS sheet duly surface trated phosphated and finally powder coated constructed from folded sections to ensure regidness and aesthatic in looks. Canopy panel and doors shall have High density/ fire retradent / non igniting and noise reduction type Foam or Resin bonded Rock wool of suitable density properly covered with fibre cloth / tissue and perforated fixed to absorb noise. The average sound levell when measure in greenfiled (ISO 8525 Part 10) at 1 meter distance from all four sides is less than 75 dB (A) average as per CPCB Norms The average stablised hot air temperature rise with i the canopy near suction air filter to be maintained 7 degree centigrade over and above the ambient temperature Four higned doors shall be provided to canopy one door shall have glass window for control panel. The exhaust gasses shall be taken out through a suitable flexible pipe to prevent any back pressure on the engine. Provision shall be made on the canopy for connectig the output cable terminatiion should be provided. (ii) The exhaust system and noise suppressor shall be provided with thermal insulation, to prevent excess heat radiation on the Engine and safe for operator. (iii) Absorbtion type non residential silencer insulated from inside with glass wool shall be provided to suppress exhaust noise from the Engine. (iv) A suitably designed draught ventilation system is to be incorporated.

(e) DG power Control Panel : (i) Shall be outdoor type sheet steel type cubicle type control panel ,floor standing, dust and vermin proof under normal conditions complete with all internal wiring & will house the following:- (a) AC voltmeter (b) AC ammeter (c) vibrating reed Frequency meter (d) Indicating Lamps for SET ON & LOAD ON (e) MCCB for short circuit & Overload Protection (f) Aluminium Bus bars of adequate rating (g) Provision for bottom entry & Exit of power cabling (g)set of current transformer (h) set of control fuses.

Supply and fix of changeover switch 250 Amps, in sheet steel enclosure, 4 Pole, side handle operated complete including taking down old unserviceable one complete all as specified and as directed by Engr in charge.

Material and labour for chemical Earthing of machinery/equipment with copper earth plate 90x60 cm x 5mm & copper earth strip 32x6mm as earth electrode complete all as specified and as directed by Engr in charge.

Supply, laying, testing & commissioning XLPE cable insulated screened PVC bedded, galvanised steel strip or wire armoured, electric power cable 1100 volt with stranded aluminium conductor of size 120 Sq mm 4 core complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply, fixing, testing and commissioning voltage stablizer for automatic operation, three phase nuturally oil cooled indoor type & designed for input varation between at 415 V with accuracy + - 2.5% and speed of correction 8 Volts per second and capacity 150 KVA With canopy complete all as specified and as directed.

a) Engine : The Diesel Enginewith AMF Panell shall be radiator water cooled, 20 KVA or 16 KW at 1500 RPM, Cylinder- 2 Nos. Starting stopping : Electrical start with 12 V DC 1 x 88 AH, 12 V Exide / Prestolite Low Maintenance Battery, Electronic governer, The fuel tank provided shall be suitably mounted on the base frame fabricated out of 16 SWG MS sheets and capacity to run the genset for 8 to 12 hours continuously on full load. Excavation in trenches n exc 1.5 mtr wide and depth n exc 1.5 mtr deep for foundation, laying GI pipes and UG cables etc n exc 10 sqmtr on plan, in hard/dense soil and getting out complete all as specified and directed.

Returning filling in including spreading, levelling, watering and well ramming in layers not exc 25 cm complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labour for providing dry river sand as in sand cushioning to UG cable in trenches laid to uniform thickness 23cm (15cm under the cable and 8cm over the cable) and gently punned down to 18cm thickness complete all as specified and directed. Note : Only Punned thickness of coarse will be measured and considered for payment.

Removing excavated material not exc 50 mtr and depositing where directed at a level not exc 1.5m above the starting point complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and laying for Sub class'B' old size well burnt brick laid flat in trenches as protection to LT cable complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply and fix ON LOAD change over switch 415 V in sheet Metal enclosures 4 Pole of capacity 63 Amps including taking down old one complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply, laying, testing & commissioning XLPE insulated, PVC sheathed, armoured LT electric power UG cable (heavy duty) with stranded aluminium conductor, 1100 Volts grade, cross sectional area 16 Sqmm, 4 core laid through duct/ pipe / in trench etc. including cable glands & lugs complete all as specified and directed.

Labour only for shifting of Old BER DG Set 125 KVA from ASC Depot to AGE E/M Store of GE shillong complete.

Material and labour for earthing complete with galvnised steel earth plate electrode 60cm x 60cm x 6mm thick buried directly in ground (Earth pit not less than 2.25 mtr deep below normal ground level) with top edge of the plate not less than 1.5 mtr below normal ground level connecting with GI Strip 32mm x 6mm by means of bolt nut check nuts and washers of galvanised iron including PCC with 1:2:4 type B-1 using 20mm graded stone aggregate CI frame and cover of angle iron 25x25x6mm with 6mm dia MS bar made to shape, GI medium grade 20mm bore pipe for watering common salt charcoal funnel wiremesh and GI protection pipe of 40mm bore and earthwork in any type of soil returning filling in and removal of soft/loose soil to a distance n. exc 5 mtr including earth test point and making connections, testing on completion all as per electrical plate No 3 of SSR Part -I and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Material and labour for surface dressing hard dense soil n exc 15 cm deep complete all as specified and as directed.

Material and labour for 100mm thick cement concrete using (40mm graded stone aggregate) type D-2 (1:4:8) as in sub base complete all as specified and as directed.

Material and labour for PCC (1:2:4) type B-2 using 40mm graded stone aggregate as in foundation etc complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and fix pre-painted galvanized aluminium zinc coating GI based corrugated steel sheeting 0.50mm thick of any colour having tensile strength 550Mpa as in roofing fixed with self tapping screws complete all as specified and as directed.

Material and labour for mild steel joist channel or angle or tee section, MS tube and fixed with ms flat iron cut into shape drilled and fixed with screw conforming fe 410 complete all as specified and as directed.

Material and labour for two coats of synthetic enamel paint over a coat of red oxide primer on steel surfaces exc 10 cm width or girth incl preparation of surfaces complete all as specified and as directed.

Excavation in post holes n. exc. 0.5 cum, getting out returning, filing in and ramming earth and broken hard core/rubble mixed with earth with around the layers n. exc. 25 cm each layer watering and removing surplus soil to a distance not exceeding 50 cm making good complete in loose soil complete all as specified and as directed.
