Excavation for roadway in soil using manual means including loading in truck for carrying of cut earth to embankment site with all lifts and lead upto 1000 metres.

Construction of Granular sub-base by providing well graded material, spreading in uniform layers with motor grader on prepared surface, mixing by wet mix plant method with rotavator at OMC, and compacting with smooth wheel roller to achieve the desired density, complete as per Technical Specification Clause 401. Providing and applying Primer coat with bitumen emulsion on prepared surface of granular base including clearing of road surface and spraying primer at the rate of 0.70-1 Kg/sqm using mechanical means as per Technical Specification Clause 502.

Providing and applying Tack coat with bitumen emulsion (RS-1) on prepared surface of granular base including cleaning of road surface and spraying primer at the rate of 0.25 kg/sqm using mechanical means as per Technical Specification Clause 502

Providing and applying Tack coat with bitumen emulsion (RS-1) on over BT surface of granular base including cleaning of road surface and spraying primer at the rate of 0.20 kg/sqm using mechanical means as per Technical Specification Clause 502

Providing and laying Dense graded bituminous macadam Grading II 75-100mm thick with 100 - 120 THP hot mix plant producing an average output of 75 tonnes per hour using crushed aggregates of specified grading premixed with bituminous binder at 4.0 to 4.5% by weight of total mix and filler, trnsporting the hot mix to site, laid over a previously prepared surface with a hydrostatic paver finisher with sensor control to the required grade, level and alignment and rolled with smooth wheeled, vibratory and tandom rollers to acheieve the desired compaction as per clause 507 of MORT & H specifications complete in all respects.

Providing and laying bituminous concrete with 100-120 THP hot mix plant producing an average output of 75 tonnes per hour using crushed aggregates of specified grading premixed with bituminous bindr at 5.4 to 5.6% by weight of total mix and filler, transporting the hot mix to site, laid over a previously prepared surface with a hydrostatic paver finisher with sensor control to the required grade,levl and alignment and roller with smooth wheeled, vibratory and tandom rollers to achieve the desired compaction etc. complete as per standard specification etc., complete.

Construction of subgrade and Earthern shoulders with approved material obtained from borrow pits with all lifts and leads, transporting to site, spreading, grading to required slope and compacted to meet requirement of Table 300.2 with lead upto 1000 m as per Technical Specification Clause 303.1. Providing and fixing reflective road studs of category B raised pavement markers made out of polycarbonate/ABS moulded body and reflective panels (bi-convex reflectors) with micro prismatic lens capable of providing total internal reflection of the light entering the lens face with retro-reflectance and chromaticity values conforming to ASTM D4280. The reflective raised pavement markers shall also confirm to the MORTH circular No RW/NH.33023/10/97-DO.III dt.11.06.97 and the length, height and width of the body shall not be less than 100 mm, 15 mm and 90 mm and base of marker shall be flat within 1.3 mm. The marker shall support a load of 13635 kg tested in accordance with ASTM D4280. Lenses shall be moulded of polycarbonate or methyl methecrylate conforming to ASTM D788. The area of each retro-reflectory surface shall not be lesss than 13.0 sq.cm. The slope of retro-reflectory surface shall be 35+5 degree to base. Each reflector shall have a CIL not less than values specified in table 2 of said MORTH circular and two cylindrical Polymer shanks of not less than 20 mm diameter and not less than 30 mm length shall be provided for better anchorage
