Preparation of surfaces with following stages:-

(a) Preparation of existing surfaces like chipping of unsound weak / loose/ crumbled/ delaminated concrete having 20 mm clear spacing beyond the corroded reinforcement with electric hammer or manually including tapering all edges, making square shoulders of cavities etc. removal of debris, complete all specified and directed by the Engineer-in-charge. All surfaces shall be free from oil, grease, friable matter etc. Concrete surfaces shall be cleaned using high pressure water jetting or other methods approved by the Engineer-in-Charge.

(b) M&L for cleaning of existing reinforcement with wire brush/rotary wire brush to make surface free from rust scales, loose material, dirt etc., complete and applying two coats of alkaline rust converting primer (Sika RustOff-100/ Rebakleens RR of Fosroc or equivalent in Mapei/ Choksey chemicals) on the existing reinforcement bar and allowing it to react with rust for 6 hrs and form a corrosion resistant, insoluble and adherent protective layer, including cleaning the reinforcement, wire brushing to remove the rust spalls, with time interval of 1 hour between the coats.

INJECTION GROUTING ( in the cracks & in the sound concrete beyond the main reinforcement ): -

(a) M&L for drilling Holes of 12 mm dia, up to 100 mm deep holes in structural members at the interval of 300 mm in staggered manner or along the crack line as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge in Reinforced Concrete (RC) structural element including cleaning of the holes by air blower and inserting 12 mm dia NRV (Non Return Valve) nozzle compatible with epoxy injector and having machined external end to receive outlet of Grouting Gun. Fix it inside the hole by applying thixotropic epoxy putty (Sikadur 31 of Sika/ Adseilex PG 2 SP of Mapei/ Nitocote VF of Fosroc) to ensure complete sealing and allow to cure the system for minimum of 8 Hrs before Grouting including nozzle projections, excess putty, if any, over concrete element by grinding, levelling and finishing the external surface, after completion of the work etc., complete.

(b) M&L for grouting and injecting two part, low viscosity, moisture insensitive injection-liquid, based on high strength epoxy resin (Sikadur®-52 LP (IN) of Sika/ Epojet LV 40 of Mapei) by pressure and using pressure epoxy injector with accessories till nozzle refused to accept the grout including mixing of grout having Mixed Density 1.1 kg/l (at +27°C); Viscosity ~ 250 mPas at +30°C and should comply according to ASTM C 881, Type II and IV, Grade-1, Class E+F and should have below properties. Compressive strength >= 70 N/mm² (7 days) according to ASTM C 579; Tensile Strength ~ 50 N/mm² (after 7 days at +30°C cure) (According to ASTM D 638); Tensile Modulus ~ 2000 N/mm² (after 7 days at +30°C cure) (According to ASTM D 638); Bond Strength ~ 10.8 N/mm² (failure in concrete) after 14 days at +30°C cure; Flexural strength ~ 50 N/mm² according to ISO 178. Seal the nozzle with thixotropic epoxy putty (Sikadur 31 of Sika/ Nitocote VF of Fosroc) after the refusal of grout material from the nozzle. Note: leakage through other nozzle or cracks are required to be monitored while grouting and such points to be sealed as and when required without any extra cost. Providing & injecting of Two-component moisture insensitive epoxy resin with very low viscosity for injection in micro cracks and Structural repair of beams, pillars and cracked slabs using NRV Nozzles.

Anticorrosive coating on steel bar:- M&L for application of zinc rich epoxy anticorrosive protective coating for rebar corrosion protection system (Sika Friazinc R® or equivalent in Fosroc/ Choksey Chemicals) in 2 coats @ 0.2Kg/m²/coat. The product should confirm carbonation resistance of 2 mm and bond strength > 1N/mm² according to ASTM C 882-78. Note: Surface area of reinforcement bars shall be measured for payment.

Replacement of bars :-

(a) M&L for fixing additional corrosion resistant hot dip galvanised steel rebar Fe415 or height grade as per required diameter in various structural elements such as columns, beams, and slabs etc. to replace the lost rebar section due to corrosion including cutting, bending and fixing the bar by installing new rebar with Epoxy Acrylate based anchoring adhesive complete all as specified and directed.

(b) M&L for rebaring of new reinforcement bars for structural connections in RCC columns including power drilling holes of appropriate diameters in reinforced or plain cement concrete upto depth as per drawings or as per specification of manufacturer, fixing the reinforcement in position using Epoxy Acrylate based anchoring adhesive at all height and level complete all as specified and directed. Note:-Rate shall include cost of labour, T & P for power drilling in concrete, epoxy cartridges, plastic nozzle etc. Complete including cleaning the drilled holes and loose dust by blowing air and excluding the cost of reinforcement bar.

(i) 8 mm (Shear Connector) 100 mm depth

(ii) 10 mm (Shear Connector) 120 mm depth

(iii) 12 mmx 120 mm

(iv) 16 mm x 160 mm

M&L for use and waste of formwork / shuttering for pouring of micro concrete. The shuttering/ formwork is to be made out of ply such that it is water tight & provide neat surface to the concrete poured in. The shuttering/ formwork shall be removed after the setting time of the concrete complete all as specified & directed.

M&L for mixing & applying two component Epoxy resin concrete Bonding coat @ 0.4 kg/m² on prepared RCC surfaces as per manufacture specification including preparation of surface by chipping and thoroughly cleaning of surface complete wherever required and as per directions of Engineer-in-charge. The product should comply with ASTM C 881 Type II Grade 2 Class B+C and bond strength should be 10 MPa complete all as specified & directed.

Jacketing of column & beam:-

(a) M&L for rebuilding the section of damaged RCC elements to its original size or as per consultants recommendation in thickness of avg 60 mm by providing and casting with ready to use non shrink, cementitious free flow micro-concrete having compressive strength > 60 N/mm² (28 days) according to ASTM C 1107-99 including providing and fixing of water tight foam faced finish shuttering of minimum 18 mm thickness and supporting formwork, all lead lift, mixing, placing, de-shuttering, levelling the surface by grinding off cementitious slurry or cementitious joints differences if any to satisfaction of Engineer-in-charge and curing complete all as specified and directed.

(b) M&L for rebuilding the section of structural damaged RCC elements to its original size or as directed by Engr-in-Charge in thickness up to 40 mm in layers of 20 mm each by providing and applying with pre-batched, one component fiber reinforced cementitious polymer modified mortar having compressive strength >= 50 N/mm² (28 days) according to ASTM C 109; flexural strength >= 5N/ mm² (7 days) according to ASTM C 293-79 complete all as specified and directed.

Anti-Carbonation Protective Coating for Exterior:- M&L for applying one part plasto-elastic coating based on UV-curing acrylic dispersion with excellent crack-bridging properties, protective coating system to achieve DFT (Dry Film Thickness) of 150 microns in two coats after application of one coat of Silane Siloxane modified Primer on concrete surface including Surface preparation by high pressure water jet or manually as per direction of Engineer-In-Charge. Consumption of primer: 0.2 kg/m². Plasto-elastic coating consumption: 0.2 kg/m²/coat. System requirements: Diffusion coefficient CO2 (µCO2) >= 2.5 x 105; Diffusion coefficient H2O (µH2O)> = 2.5 x 103; Crack-Bridging Capacity as per Class IT according to ZTV SIB 90-TL/TP OS. The Product should be in compliance with Standards Test according to ZTV SIBOS-D II from the Polymer Institute dd 16.10.01 Nr. P2438/P2436. Note for Item No. 1 to 7:- (a) The rates are inclusive of cost of scaffolding, trestles, ladders, cradles, etc. necessary for execution of work and protective measures and also providing necessary barricade with tin sheets and enclosing affected area by green cloth. (b) The work shall be got executed through original manufacturer or their authorised applicator.

Demolition of brick /stone masonry built in cement mortar including all quoins arches, pillars and precast concrete articles all as specified and as directed.

Demolition of concrete(reinforced) in ground floors and pavings n exc 15 cm thickness (below or above ground level) complete all as specified & directed.

S&F Steel work in tubular trusses including special shaped washer etc. complete using ERW or induction butt welded tubes conforming to IS 1161-1979 Grade St.-240 complete all as specified & directed.

M&L for preparing new or previously untreated surfaces, of steel and iron work of any description not otherwise described over 10 cm in width or girth and applying two coats of synthetic enamel paint over a coat of red oxide primer all as specified and as directed.

S&F painted galvalume aluminum zinc coating GI based corrugated steel sheet 0.45 mm thick of an colour having tensile strength of 550 Mpa as in roof covering/ cladding to wall, fixed with self tapping screws as specified

Taking down cement plaster on brick walls/ceiling, raking out joints locking for key, scrubbing down with water etc. all as specified

M&L for 15 mm thick plaster in CM (1:4) on fair face of brick or concrete surfaces of walls finished even and smooth without using extra cement and using Styrene Butadiene Rubber latex emulsion @ 4% by weight of cement complete all as specified & directed. ( SBR latex emulsion shall be measured and paid separately under item No. 26 of this Schedule)

M&L for 10 mm thick plaster in ceiling of CM (1:4) finished even and smooth without using extra cement complete all as specified & directed.

M&L for preparation of newly plastered surface of wall and applying two coats of oil bound distemper over a coat of primer over & including applying wall care putty to achieve even , smooth and uniform surface complete all as specified & directed.

M&L for complete removal of old treatment of surfaces of wall by mechanical grinder and applying two coats of Oil bound distemper over a coat of primer over & including applying wall care putty to achieve even , smooth and uniform surface complete all as specified & directed.

M&L for preparation of New plastered surface of ceiling and applying three coat of white wash complete all as specified & directed.

M&L for preparation of old surface and applying two coat of white wash on Ceiling complete all as specified & directed.

M&L for preparation of new plastered or unplastered surfaces of wall and applying two coats of Exterior Emulsion paint over a coat of primer over & including applying wall care putty to achieve even , smooth and uniform surface complete all as specified & directed.

M&L for complete removal of existing treatment from old surfaces of wall by mechanical grinder and applying two coats of Exterior Emulsion paint over one coat of primer over & including applying wall care putty to achieve even , smooth and uniform surface complete all as specified & directed.

M&L for preparation of New plastered surface and applying three coat of white wash on walls complete all as specified & directed.

M&L for preparation old wooden surface of any description not other wise described over 10 cm width or girth and applying one coat of synthetic enamel paint complete all as specified & directed.

M&L for preparation new wooden surface of any description not other wise described over 10 cm width or girth and applying two coat of synthetic enamel paint over a coat of pink primer complete all as specified & directed.

M&L for preparation old steel surface of any description not other wise described over 10 cm width or girth and applying one coat of synthetic enamel paint complete all as specified & directed.

Supply only Styrene Butadiene Rubber latex emulsion.

M&L for framed work as in doors or gates of angle or other section with gusset plates, rails, braces, etc., complete, drilled for fixing of steel sheeting or other covering. Doors, etc. to be prepared for hanging or sliding with and including either hooks and hinges or steel hanging door fittings (exclusive of steel sheeting or other covering, running rails and guides) and hanging; also fastening and fixing complete Fe-290 (Gde E-165) complete all as specified & directed.

M&L for Brickwork with sub class B bricks, old sized, straight or curved on plan exc 6 m mean radius, built in Cement Mortar 1:6 using old size bricks complete all as specified & directed.

M&L for RCC 1:2:4 type B1 (20 mm graded crushed stone aggregates) for Beams, bands, cantilevers, bressummers, lintels over 1.5 m span complete all as specified & directed..

M&L for framed work such as grills, gratings, etc., with ends of bars shouldered and/or riveted, or forged into spikes; framed guard bars; barred iron doors; ladders; framed balusters; walk ways; railings; framework of water tanks and similar work conforming to Fe-290 (Gde E-165) complete all as specified & directed.

M&L for use and waste of formwork for flat rough finished surface of concrete to sides and soffits of floor or roof beams, beam haunchings, girders, bressummers, lintels, cantilevers, shelves including sup- ports, overhangs, etc. also splays between floors and beams, etc. complete all as specified & directed.

M&L for MS TMT bars 10 mm dia and over cut to length, bent to shape required, including cranking, bending, spirally for hoping for columns, hooking end and binding with and including mild steel wire (annealed) not less than 0.9 mm dia complete all as specified & directed.

All as per serial item No. 34 here-in- above but 5 mm dia and over up to including 10 mm dia as in stirrups.

S&F 1 mm thick mild steel, plain, black sheet in wall cladding, steel gates and similar work, cut to size, holes punched; including round headed screws, clout nails or rivets and fixed to wood or steel framing with plain 40 mm lap joints with riveted or welded seams, including bending or turning up, mitred angles, etc. complete all as specified & directed.

Demolition of cement concrete (unreinforced) in ground floors and pavings n exc 15 cm thickness complete all as specified & directed.

Demolition of cement concrete (unreinforced) in sunken floors and pavings exc 15 cm thickness complete all as specified & directed.

Dismantling of brick tiles or terracing tiles of any description single layer on roofs complete all as specified & directed.

Demolition of mud in roofs, any thickness including plastering and leeping etc. complete all as specified & directed.

Cleaning the surface, remove dust dirt, loose particles and unsound substrate including M&L for providing 20 mm thick cement plaster in CM (1:4) mixed with liquid Water proofing compound(Sika Plastocrete Plus or equivalent in Fosroc/ Choksey Chemicals) @ 100 gram/Bag over bonding coat of Styrene Butadiene Rubber latex complete all as specified and directed. ( liquid Water proofing compound and bonding coat of SBR Latex emulsion shall be measured and paid separately)

Supply only liquid Water proofing compound (Sika Plastocrete Plus or equivalent in Fosroc/ Choksey Chemicals)

M&L for polymer modified cementious bonding coat , prepared and applied over plaster surface with I part of Styrene Butadiene Rubber latex emulsion (SBR latex) with 2 parts of water and 4 parts of cement by weight. Coverage of SBR latex-0.25 Ltr / Sqm for one coat complete all as specified & directed.

M&L for modified APP based polymeric membrane minimum weighing 3kg/Sqm and minimum 3mm thick reinforced with polyester non wove fabric (wt. not less than 150 gms/Sqm) land on primed surface by torch application complete all as specified & directed. Note:-The work for water proofing treatment on roofs shall be got executed through original manufacturer or their authorised applicator.

M&L for applying evenly a coat of industrial bitumen primer of IWL/STP/Shalimar at the rate of 0.4 ltr per Sq. m including cleaning surfaces

M&L for PCC (1:2:4) type B-1 (using 20 mm graded stone aggregate) as in roof kerbs ,or mud stops round or chamfered on edges complete all as specified & directed.

M & L pre cast PCC plain tile 20 mm thick and each tiles exc 0.02 sqm and n.exc 0.09 sqm machine made laid over & & including cement mortar screed 15 mm thick in CM 1:6 mixed with water proofing compound and jointed pointed in CM 1:3 mixed with 5% crude oil by weight of cement.

Taking down chowkhat with shutter (with out taking off shutters from the frame) n exc 1.5 Sqm each complete all as specified & directed.

All as per item 46 above but exc 1.5 Sqm and n.exc 4.00 Sqm each

Taking down shutters of any description exc 1 Sqm but n.exc 2 Sqm each including iron mongries

S&F PVC (SWR) pipes single socketed in any length with rubber ring joints, fixed to walls 110 mm bore of pipe complete all as specified & directed.

S&F PVC (SWR) bends any radius 110 mm bore of complete all as specified & directed.

Dismantling floor, hearth or wall tiles including cement mortar bedding(but not backing), removing serviceable tiles to store and rubbish off the premises complete all as specified & directed.

M&L for non skid coloured ceramic tiles of premium quality 7 to 8 mm thick , area of each tile exc 0.11 and not exc 0.18 Sqm, laid in floors, set and jointed in neat cement slurry and pointed in white or coloured cement to match over and including 15 mm thick screed bed in cement mortar 1:4 complete all as specified and directed .

M&L for glazed ceramic coloured, joint less, tiles 7 mm thick (Premium quality), each tiles exceeding 0.09 Sqm but not exc 0.18 Sqm in vertical surfaces and set and jointed in neat cement slurry and pointed with white or coloured cement over and including 10 mm thick rendering layer of cement mortar 1:4, complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for 18 mm thick granite (of any type) machine cut as in platforms, stage top , counters, reception area etc., bedded and jointed with grey cement slurry and pointed with white cement with admixture of pigment to match the shade of granite stone including grinding and polishing laid over & including 15 mm thick screed bed or bedding layer of cement mortar 1:6 complete all as specified & directed.

M&L for 18-20 mm thick marble stone in one piece (makrana white) machine cut as in stair case riser over and including 15 mm thick rendering in CM 1:4 and jointed with white cement slurry including cutting and polishing complete all as specified & directed.
