REPAIR REPLACEMENT AND DAY TO DAY MAINT OF LT UG CABLE OVER HEAD LINE LT PANEL FEEDER PILLERS JUNCTION BOXES AND ALLIED WORKS AT OTM ACCN AND OMQ AREA AT AFS TAMBARAM

Checking/Repair of LT panel and LT cable in all camp once a week with one electrician and one helper as demanded by department to carry out jointly checking of cable and panels in the entire area under AF Stn Tambaram(OMQ area and OTM accn.) to ascertain the serviceability and repairs required. The item is deemed to be inclusive of the same. (c) LT jumpers shall be measured in the quoted rate. (d) The measurement for payment shall be made as per the actual replacement of accessories. (e) No extra cost will be paid to the contractor for T&P and tradesmen as required. (f) Taking down the cable and assy as required for maintenance for cleaning or minor repairs such as screws wires taking down etc the cost of same is deemed to be included in the quoted rate. (g) The contractor shall depute one electrician and one helpers on all working days in MES complaint cell for attending the maintenance of cable like nucked wire or LT panel, complaint regarding the external electric supply work . (h) Contractor shell be insure emergency complaint to be attended in Sunday/ Holiday also if contractor not attend the complaint within 4 hrs penalty will be imposed as per norms (j) Contractor or his accredited representative is responsible to receive complaints from JE I/C and feed back of the same after completion of the job on as per Job slip given by JE I/C complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Taking down old serviceable conductors any description and re-stringing/ tightening of ACSR conductor (size- squirrel/ weasel/ ferret) / GI earth continuity conductor/ cradle up to the permissible sag limit between any span length and binding the with new binding wire of the same materiel to insulators and complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Approximate span between poles are 45 to 60m.

Dismantling old and unserviceable ACSR any description of size conductor including disconnecting from the poles and depositing where complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

M/L for ACSR conductors of any size LT OH lines wire and making jumper connections complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Supply, fabricating and fixing repairs, cross arms (any type) supports, bracting, stiffness etc made out of MS channel, angle iron , flat iron of any size including drilling of holes, making clamps, eye hooks, nuts, bolts and washers etc, welding if required including painting with two coats of aluminium paint over a coat of red oxide paint complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Supply & fixing in replacement, shackle type porcelain vitreous white, green or brown insulators for working pressure 1100 volts, 90mm dia 75mm height including removal of existing insulators complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Make :- MYSORE/ BHEL/ PORCELAIN / JAIPURIA BROS.

M&L for pin type insulator, porcelain, vitreous, white, brown or green insulator of size 100 mm height, 65 mm dia for 1100 volts grade, including one galvanised mild steel spindle, two galvanised iron washers and one galvanised iron bolt including taking out the old unserviceable insulator and making good the complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

M&L for removing old/burnt out jumper connection in binding with LT lines from position including re-binding the same with new binding wire of size 3.25mm aluminium wire complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Supplying and laying synthetic Rubber insulated mats 2 mm thick for voltage upto 11 kv for electrical purpose as per IS 15652-2006, (superseding IS 5424) suitable for electrical shock safety of sizes 2m x 1m complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

M&L for servicing to indoor/outdoor LT panel board installed at AFS Tambaram, opening up all cubical doors, cleaning with air blower, removing the burnt out unserviceable instruments, copper wiring kit, and burnt out unserviceable extented copper terminals/ copper cable and replacing with new copper extented terminal bus bar with suitable size along with required nut bolt, washers, and replacing the measuring instruments like Ammeter with existing size of the CT, Volt meter, indicating lamps of LED type 'R Y B' cleaning with CTC to serviceable parts like MCCB's, all terminals, replacement of damaged aluminum lugs any description of LT U/G cables in coming and out going, welding of broken door with suitable hinges, replacement of deterioated copper wiring with suitable copper conductor with circuit indicator replacement of sheared rubber beadings to door of panels, including preparing the existing surface for spray painting to powder coated surface with two coat of synthetic enameled paint of approved colour, marking of incoming and out going feeder with fluorecent stickers incl preparation of the surface of panel complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.
