REPAIR AND MAINTENANCE OF ROAD AND ROAD FURNITURE AT RAYANG MIL STN

Scarifying or picking gravelled, macadam or bituminous macadam surfaces in area exceeding 400 sqm, depth exceeding 50 mm but not exceeding 100 mm and removing the material & stacking as directed complete all as specified and as directed.

M & L for applying tack coat on existing bituminous, cement concrete with VG 10 bituminus primer at the rate of 7.5 kg per 10 sqm of surface complete all as specified and as directed. Note:- Tack coat shall be applied with mechanical sprayer only.

M&L for premix bituminous macadam n.exc 75mm thickness or less, using hot mix plant and mechanical paver with 4% binder (Paving bitumen VG 30 grade) content by weight of total mix, laid/rolled and compacted to required gradient and camber using 8 to 10 tonnes power roller completeall as specified and as directed. Note:- (i) The minimum bitumen content shall be 4% of total mix. However, no price adjustment shall be made if bitumen content is more than 4% after design mix. (ii) Bituminous mechadam shall be laid using self propelled paver finisher. (iii) Preparation of the mix shall be done in hot mix plant and transporting in tripper maintaining the temperature.

Preparing existing black top surfaces by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc., sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surface with gunny bags to remove all loose dirt etc. complete all as specified and as directed.

M & L for applying tack coat on existing bituminous, cement concrete with VG 10 bituminus primer at the rate of 5 kg per 10 sqm of surface complete all as specified and as directed. Note:- Tack coat shall be applied with mechanical sprayer only.

M & L for applying tack coat on existing bituminous, cement concrete with VG 10 bituminus primer at the rate of 2.5 kg per 10 sqm of surface complete all as specified and as directed. Note:- Tack coat shall be applied with mechanical sprayer only.

M & L for semi dense bituminous premix asphaltic dense concrete 40 mm consolidated thickness using graded crushed stone aggregate premixed with binder (paving grade bitumen VG 30 grade) @ 5.5% by weight of total mix, rolled and compacted to required camber and gradient complete all as specified and as directed. Note :- (i) Semi dense bituminous concrete shall be laid using self propelled hydrostatic paver finisher and preparation of mix shall be using hot mix plant and transporting the mix in tipper. (ii) The minimum biyumen content is 5.5%of total mix. No price adjustment shall be made if bitumen content is more than 5.5% after design mix. (iii) Rolling shall be done in three stages as per Clause 5.6.2 of IRC 111:2009 using 9 to 10 tone dead weight or vibratory steel wheel roller, penumatic roller of 12 to 15 tone and finally 6 to 8 tone smooth wheel roller.

M&L for preparing biuminious surfaces of road and marking 2.5mm thick centre lines, stops lines, dashes, arrows etc. and the like n.exc 10cm wide on roads pavements with hot applied thermo plastic road marking paint of approved colour confirming to BS- 3262-1989 with special applicator machine all as per manufacturers instruction complete all as specified and directed.

Repair to potholes any depth, not exceeding 1 sqm each including sweeping free from dust and mud, or water, scoring sunken surfaces in roads, paths, etc., cutting around edges to at least 25 mm in depth, making good by filling in screened & graded road metal, watering and well ramming (including supply of road metal) and making good by applying tack coat of paving bitumen VG 10 @ 5 Kg/10 Sqm, putting in bitumenous mecadom, well rammed and sealed with bitumen binder VG 30 @ 9.8 Kg/10 Sqm blinded with 0.09 Cum of stone ships 6.3mm size and rolled and compected with 8 to 10 tone power roller to required camber/gradient complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply and fix in repair solar cat eye aluminium alloy shall (100% water proofing design according to 65) of size 125mm X 125mm X 25mm (shank 65mm) of high efficiency Mono rystafie solar panel 2.4 V/0.3 watt one NI-ed rechargeable battey (1.2V/ 1600MA) consisting of super brigh LED with 10,000 to 18,000 mcd complete as per manufacturers instructions etc. all as specified and directed.
