NIT 27 Development of khandar fort as an Iconic tourist destination Distt-Sawai Madhopur

P & L Lime Surkhi Plaster lime surkhi mortar 1:2 (1 Lime : 2 Surkhi) including preparation of mortar by traditional practice (by grinding) in specified course for base coarse and subsequent course & Loi, tamping, beating, curing till the shrinkage cracks are disappear. The work is to be done with all lead as the work is of restoration nature as per Jaipur practice including adding gur, methi & gugal on old walls including removal of all old loose and decade plaster, each coat to be done after 3 days of previous coat. ( 33 mm thick in four coats)

Providing & applying Lime kara 1:2 (1lime cream : 2 Zikki powder) grinding mortar with grinding mill/manually on lime base, on ceiling and all flat surface in two coats. First coat applying 3 mm to 4 mm thick and curing properly at least 7 days, second finishing coat done after 7 days of previous coat as per traditional practice.(thickness not more than 6 mm.)

Removal of debries from the monument carefully without damaging the buried architectural parts of the monument and collect all the intact parts at proper place for reuse at the time of restoration work as per direction of Engineer incharge/site encharge and disposal of building rubbish with in 50mtr.lead

Flush and ruled pointing over joints of dressed stone cladding ,chajjas,jali etc.including racking the joints as per traditional practice including all leads and lifts with grinded mortar of lime putty and fine sand mixed in 1:2 ratioand gur,methi,gugal etc.are to be mixed as per traditional practice

Provision for Making the area workable by clearing weeds including removal of vegetation, grass, shrubs, bushes and disposal of rubbish up to a distance of 50m outside the periphery of the area cleared etc complete as per directions given by engineer-in-charge.

Removal/Taking out the dead weathered/cracked/damaged Plaster of thickness 25-30mm average thick very carefully & disposal of the unserviceable material lead up to 100 mtr etc complete.

Provision for water tightening on the top of fortification wall by lime concrete with 50% composite mortar 1:1:1 lime mortar (1lime:1surkhi :1coarse sand) and 20mm down gauge brick aggregate including ramming, compacting and curing etc complete.

Supplying and fixing stone lintels/bed plates of approved quarry rough dressed in cement mortar 1:4 : 6.18.1 Upto 15 cm. thick

Providing new /restoration of decorative sandstone columns as per the original details found on site of size around 2.1 to 2.5 metres in height & (square/ rectangular upto 200 mm x 400mm ). The damaged portions of the original column to be carefully dismantled without damaging the adjacent areas, & replacing the same with new detail of the same size & design. Sample of the terra cotta column to be shown to the Engineer in-charge for approvals before procuring & fixing the same on site. Item to include all necessary anchoring details, scaffolding if required etc. complete. Mode of Measurement: Item to be paid each restored/new column for using plain

Provision for R.R. stone masonry of missing /broken portion of fortification wall & bastion with collected/available old stone in 1:1:1 lime surkhi mortar (1lime : 1surkhi : 1coarse sand) mixed with adhesive material like Gud, Belgiri and babool gum including curing etc complete.
