Providing and fixing Non-illuminated signs including all operations from fabrication to installation all complete as per drawings, technical specifications, signage schedule and to the satisfaction of the Engineer-in-Charge. All exterior signs should be manufactured considering harsh outdoor conditions, weatherproofing techniques and materials shall be used.

Sign Face Providing and fixing sign face panels 3 mm thick Aluminium sheet fixed to sign structure. White retro-reflective vinyl pasted over edge to edge aluminium sheet. Graphics in plotter cut red Pantone 485C and black Pantone 6C exterior grade opaque vinyl pasted over white retroreflective vinyl.

Sign Structure MS square post 50x50x2, hot dipped galvanized and P.U. painted to match RAL 9006 grouted in ground. The actual structural design of the sign for its stability shall be responsibility of the contractor. proper fixing methods should be used to fix parts together.

Foundation Providing and laying foundation for the sign including its compaction and all activities like Excavation, PCC base layer, providing and fixing in position electrical connection wherever applicable and finished as per drawing. The item cost includes cutting and opening the floor finish at location, and making good the location to the match the original finish after fixing and installation of sign.

Accessories: Providing and fixing all accessories such as thimbles, end connectors, nut-inserts, screws, rivets, bolts, washers, nuts, etc. complete as per drawing.

Providing and fixing illuminated signs including all operations from fabrication to installation all complete as per drawings, technical specifications, signage schedule and to the satisfaction of the Engineer-in- Charge. Sign Box The sign box shall be made in 18 gauge thick P.U.Painted aluminium in specified blue colour RAL 5013. Router cut, grooved and folded to achieve the desired shape as per drawing fixed with the internal frame structure.

Sign Face The sign face shall be made in 18 gauge thick P.U. Painted aluminium in specified blue colour RAL 5013, provided with backlit LED lighting and shall have laser cut profiles to receive milky white 3mm thk polycarbonate sheet from back.

Sign Structure M .S. square sections 25x25mm . Structure to be directly fixed to the hanging supports. Structure to receive the sign box and the sign face. Lighting All internal illumination shall be using LED of approved make with electronic controllers, having even spread and overlaps to avoid banding and dark spots. Cost to include all internal connections and Wiring, terminating and connecting the incoming cable laid by Airport contractor at the site.

Providing and fixing illuminated signs including all operations from fabrication to installation all complete as per drawings, technical specifications, signage schedule and to the satisfaction of the EIC.

Sign face Sign face shall be made in 8mm thick 040 white acrylic (as specified) having graphics pasted in Plotter cut Block out vinyl. Entire panel covered with a protective overlaminate. The films to wrap around the edge of the acrylic to a distance of 25mm on the back side. The Plotter cut block out vinyl shall match the specified colour (colour Pantone Black 6C) and vinyl for text Pantone yellow C or Cyan 311C as per graphics and of specified make duly approved by the Engineer-in-Charge.

Sign Frame Providing and fixing sign frame 50mm wide Powder coated, colour RAL 9006 special aluminium extrusion with inbuilt frame to receive the sign face. The sign face shall be fixed to sign frame with 3M brand dual lock system in one side and 3M both way tape from the other side. The panel should be made easily openable for maintenance.

Sign internal Structure Providing and fixing Frame work of Aluminium 25mmx 25mm x 1.3 hollow square sections. Shall be directly fixed to the sign frame.

Suspender Providing and fixing Stainless steel 35 x 35mm x 2 Hollow sections (assuming typical length of 1 metre) mounted on slabs/beams/walls. All hardware used for fixing of sign shall be Stainless steel.

Lighting All internal illumination shall be using Power LED Lights from Osram or equivalent (Edge lighting - 6500K, 24 v, with optimal homogeneous backlighting & light Throw of minimum 4 ft) with electronic controllers, having even spread and overlaps to avoid banding and dark spots and adhering to the LUX levels mentioned in the performance specification. Cost to include all internal connections and Wiring, terminating and connecting the incoming cable laid by Airport contractor at the site.

The actual structural design of the sign for its stability shall be responsibility of the contractor. proper fixing methods should be used to fix parts together.

The back face shall be3mm thick ACP fixed to sign frame with VHB tape in one side and signage sheet shall be fixed with Hook & Loop tape so as the panel be easily openable for maintenance.

Sign Box Providing and fixing sign box with laser cut Bent Fabrication in 8mm thick clear acrylic with pantone yellow C Vinyl pasted over acrylic with white diffuser film on inside face. Block out vinyl for text Pantone Black 6C. Complete box excluding bottom side is lited with internal LED lighting. Acrylic fabrication shall have transparent structural supports for obstruction free lighting. Box to be directly mounted on the sign structure.

Bottom Panel Bottom MS Panel powder coated in colour to match Vinyl Black of Pantone Black 6C.

Sign Structure: Type 2 All structural members in SS square post 75 x 75 x 2.5 mm (assuming typical length of 2.7 metre), brush finished. base plate embedded below the floor finish and provided with a floor trim ring. All hardware used for fixing of sign shall be Stainless steel. Post including SS base Plate and Gussets in 6mm thick SS Plate as per drawing with holes to fix it on holding down bolts anchored in concrete slab. The post shall closed with a 3 mm thick SS plate as specified and approved by the Engineer-In-charge. The Post shall be always be a single continuous element without any joints. Cost to include all activities and temporary props used for a perfect vertical in plumb installation, etc. required for fixing the sign in an internal location. Sign Face Providing and fixing Photoluminiscent signs made of screen-printing using artworks provided and with Photoluminiscent material as per technical specifications. Screen printing shall be done on selfadhesive vinyl and pasted on 2mm thick powder coated white (RAL 9016) aluminium plate and fixed at location using screws. as per specification and using provided artwork including all operations from procuring the correct materials and made to sizes as specified and approved by the Engineer-in-charge. including all installation activities like marking, alignment and fixing with screws into the wall/cladding/face to the satisfaction of the Engineer-in-Charge.

Sign Frame Internal MS structure receiving the signs faces using equal angles, hot-dipped galvanized and welded to the sign post.

Sign Post 100 mm OD MS post PU painted to match RAL 9011 grouted in ground with concrete footing as per detail. The actual structural design of the sign for its stability shall be responsibility of the contractor.

2.6d Emergency Signs - Fire life safety layout Drg No. Refer design drawing 2.6d-G

Providing and fixing all Photoluminiscent signs in the dedicated fire escape passages of the stations as per locations given in sign schedules, made of screen-printed signs on white vinyl pasted over a 2mm thick aluminium sheet powder coated in White (RAL 9016) as per specification and using provided artwork including all operations from procuring the correct materials and made to sizes as specified and approved by the Engineer-in-charge. including all installation activities like marking, alignment and fixing with screws into the wall/cladding/face to the satisfaction of the Engineer-in-Charge.

Manufacturing and supply of Facia sign board to be mounted on the facia of the building. The signboard will be made of micro prismatic type retro reflective sheeting confirming to Type IV retro Reflective sheeting of 3 M make, pasted on ACP sheet of 4mm thick of Eurobond make. The front side is to be covered with micro prismatic retro reflective sheeting with colored electro cut overlay sheeting as per approved colour scheme, to be fixed with the help of POP rivets, the board shall be riveted to the existing M.S. angle frame.

Dismantling of following signage boards from existing locations including their mounting arrangement including disconnection of Electrical supply line etc. and same to be deposited in AAI store within a range of 1 Km. complete as required.
