SCHEDULE 'A' PART-I [ ROAD WORKS]

Repairs to potholes any depth, not exceeding 1 sqm each including sweeping free from dust and mud, or water, scoring sunken surfaces in roads, paths etc., cutting around edges to at least 25 mm in depth and making good by filling in screened and graded road metal, watering and well ramming (including supply of road metal), complete all as specified and directed.

Scarifying or picking gravelled macadam or bituminous macadam by power or by hand picking, exceeding 50 mm deep and not exceeding 100 mm deep and area exceeding 400 sqm, complete all as specified and directed.

Preparing surfaces of WBM/WMM by brushing with wire brushes or mechanical broom or high pressure air jet for removing caked mud etc sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surfaces with gunny bags to remove all loose dirt etc and applying evenly a priming / tack coat with cationic bitumen emulsion (RS-1) complying with IS 8887 @ 10Kg / 10 Sqm complete all as specified in MORTH specification and as directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Material and labour for premix bituminous macadam with 4 % binder content of paving bitumen by weight of total mix using VG-30 grade bitumen, rolled and compacted to required camber and gradient using power roller 8 to 12 tonne capacity, consolidated thickness of 70 mm or less, complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labour for preparing black top surfaces by brushing with wire brushes or mechanical broom or high pressure air jet for removing caked mud etc., sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surfaces with gunny bags to remove all loose dirt etc., and applying evenly a priming / tack coat with cationic bitumen emulsion RS-1 complying with IS 8887 @ 5 Kg/10 Sqm, complete all as specified in MORTH specification and as directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Material and labour for Bituminous premix semi dense asphaltic concrete (SDAC), 30mm consolidated thickness with 5.5 % binder content of paving bitumen by weight of total mix using VG-30 grade bitumen, rolled and compacted to required camber and gradient complete using mechanical paver and rolled using power roller 8 to 12 tonne capacity complete all as specified and directed. Note : The contractor's quoted rates shall also be deemed to include the following element: (i) In case of variation in the binder content as per approved design mix in comparison with the binder content as specified above, the variation in qty of binder content on lesser side shall be adjusted through supply only rate of Bitumen VG-30.

Material and labour for applying 2.5 mm thick retro reflective painting of specified shade/ colour etc., either continuous or broken lines, to the required width and length over the existing painted surface/ new bituminous surface with solvent based road marking paint (Retro reflective paint) Brand : Road King or equivalent brand approved by MORTH, IRTC and AAI including supply of paint material at the rate of 5 Kg per Sqm and glass beads at the of 0.35 Kg per Sqm (Reflective Index 1.5) using semi automatic thermoplastic paint applicator machine fitted with profile shoe, glass bead dispenser, propane tank heater and profile shoe heater driven by experienced operator on road including all materials, labour, T&P and cleaning the road surface of dirt, seals, oil, grease and foreign materials etc., complete all as specified and as directed. (Note : Retro reflective paint shall be applied as per manufacturers instructions along with MORTH technology and specialty.)

Supply and fix in repairs Solar road stud having 3 LEDs of colour red/ yellow to a side (total 6 Nos ) housed in a tough pressure die casted aluminium alloy of any size (120x130 mm) and (125x125 mm) of height 20 mm with built in stem-nail 30 mm x 50 mm long for fixing with epoxy. LEDs solar -cells, battery & light sensor well protected in side under tough unbreakable polycarbonate transparent sheet roof System workable for 2-3 days (nights) after full charge in 8-10 hours complete all as specified and directed by Engineer in Charge Make:- Greenlite Cat Part No GPL - 03-01 or equivalent as mentioned in PS approved by GE

Supply and fixing in repairs, reflective cats eye with ABS material, body of size 100 mm x 100 mm, with honeycomb patterned base, twin molded shanks and two way retro reflective lenses, fixed with suitable adhesives on roads, complete all as specified and directed. (Make: Series 290C/ 290CE OF 3M or equivalent equivalent as mentioned in PS approved by GE)

Surface dressing not exceeding 15 cm deep, as in berms and getting out in soft/loose soil, complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labour for 75 mm thick (spread thickness) moorum/ red bajri, filling in roads by 8 to 12 tonne roller, spread, rolled and consolidated to gradient and camber as required, complete all as specified and directed.

Removing excavated material to a distance exceeding 250 Mtrs and not exceeding 500 Mtrs and depositing where directed at level not exceeding 1.50 metre above the starting point complete all as specified and as directed.
