CSA WORKS AT HPPL HALDIA DT & PANAGARH RT

DISMANTLING WORKS- PRT — ISMANTLING WORKS : Dismantling of existing RCC / PCC / Brickwork /Stone Masonry /Stone Soling/ Flexible pavements at all heights an depths including stacking of serviceable materials inside the premises & disposal of unserviceable materials at an unobjectionable p ce outside the premises for all leads as per direction of EIC. Necessary tools, tackles and staging work shall be arranged by the co ractor for safe dismantling and safety of other existing facilities. Demolition of RCC / PCC / Masonry Work / Soling/ Pavements will e paid in NET CUM as demolished. Reinforcement/Steel Structural Items (if any) from demolition to be handed over to HPCL without an additional cost."

VEGETATION CLEANING- PRT — EGETATION CLEANING : Cleaning bushes including uprooting of rank vegetation, green bush wood, trees and saplings of girth upto 30cm (measured at a height of 1m above ground), stacking the serviceable materials and disposal of unserviceable materials at an unobject nable place outside the premises including rubbish etc. upto any lead and all lift as per specification and direction of the Enginee in-charge. (Payment will be made for actual site clearance area only)."

TREE CUTTING- PRT — REE CUTTING : Tree cutting of girth more than 30 cm (measured at a height of 1m above ground level) including cutting of trunks and ranches, removing of roots and stacking of serviceable material and disposal of unserviceable material at an unobjectionable place i ide/outside the premises. Liasoning with the concerned Statutory Authorities shall be the responsibility of the Contractor. However, tatutory fees shall be paid by the Client."

EXCAVATION UPTO 2M AND — XCAVATION UPTO 2M AND BACKFILLING : Earthwork in excavation for foundations/site grading in ordinary soils for depth upto 2.0 m in th dry and wet conditions including pumping and bailing out surface and subsoil water, slush removal including backfilling in found ion pits and other places with excavated suitable surplus earth in all positions in layers of 300mm at all heights and depths wherev required, including reclaiming from spoil heaps kept elsewhere including dressing and levelling, watering and mechanical compaction tc., transporting surplus unserviceable soil within the plant premises and spreading in layers and as per specifications and direct n of Engineer-in-Charge. The Measurement for payment shall be for the theoretical volume only and it shall be the volume of the b ck of the excavation having maximum bottom dimension of the levelling course/PCC as per drawing and to actual depth. Note : 1. e Contractor shall take into account in his rate, the provision for excess excavation required for necessary working space, cutting slopes etc., which may be required for excavation, safety and other allied works and refilling the side slopes and working space i layers as per requirement. 2. Rate to include cost of all labour, tools, tackles, equipment, hire charges, bailing and pumping out ter etc. with all bye works and sundry works complete in all respects."

EXCAVATION BEYOND 2M — XCAVATION BEYOND 2M AND BACKFILLING : Earthwork in excavation for foundations in ordinary soils for depth beyond 2.0 m in both dry d wet conditions including pumping and bailing out surface and subsoil water, shoring, strutting, slush removal including backfilli in foundation pits and other places with excavated suitable surplus earth in all positions in layers of 300mm at all heights and de hs wherever required, including reclaiming from spoil heaps kept elsewhere including dressing and levelling, watering and mechanical ompaction etc., transporting surplus unserviceable soil within the plant premises and spreading in layers and as per specifications nd direction of Engineer-in- Charge. The Measurement for payment shall be for the theoretical volume only and it shall be the vol e of the block of the excavation having maximum bottom dimension of the levelling course/PCC as per drawing and to actual depth. te : 1. EARTH WORK WITH — ARTH WORK IN FILLING WITH AVAILABLE EARTH : Controlled Earth filling with available excavated earth in site levelling, site grading nd at other places as directed with special compaction using 8 to 10 tonne capacity roller in open area and by 1 tonne to 2 tonne r ler or wooden or steel rammers in confined area to achieve dry density of 95% Modified Proctor density reclaiming from spoil heaps a all heights/depths for all leads, transporting, depositing, compacting, dressing, trimming to required slope/gradient, complete as d ired, in layers not exceeding 30 cms including watering, consolidating, testing all as per specifications, drawings and instructions f the Engineer Incharge."

EARTH WORK WITH — ARTH WORK IN FILLING WITH IMPORTED EARTH : Supply of good quality imported earth outside plant (Plasticity index not more than 20 a liquid limit not more than 40 when tested according to IS:2720 (Part 5), free from any deleterious material, organic materials, non xpansive soil etc.) from approved source and controlled earth filling for site levelling and at other places in layers of 300 mm and ompacted up to 95% to its Modified Proctor density or as per direction of Engineer in charge up to required height and any plan dim sion for any lead including cost of all labour, tools, equipment, hire charges, cost of borrowed earth by way of royalties, right o way, taxes, transportation, testing, watering, rolling each layer with 8 tonne to 10 tonne roller in open area and by 1 tonne to 2 nne roller or wooden or steel rammers in confined area, and dressing / filling up ground depressions etc. complete in all respect as er scope of work, detailed construction drawings, as per technical specifications and directions of the Engineer-in-charge. Note : . Soil Sample to be tested at laboratory approved by HPCL/MECON. Rate to include minimum one test for compaction control.for every 3 0 sqm of compacted area in each layer of earth filling. 2. The contractor shall obtain prior permission from concerned statutory au orities as necessary for sourcing of earth required for filling as mentioned above and pay royalty etc., as applicable for the same. opies of receipt of royalty paid by the contractor should be submitted to HPCL/ MECON for their record before bringing the material site. No separate payment will be made by HPCL/MECON towards reimbursement of royalty or any other levies which shall be included i the rates quoted by the party.The contractor shall bring the earth and stock the same as per the directions of EIC.3.Rate to includ cost of all labour, tools, tackles, equipment, hire charges, cost of earth, royalties, right of way, taxes etc."

FILLING WITH SLAG SAND- — ILLING WITH SLAG SAND : Supply of good quality locally available Slag Sand from approved source and controlled filling for site lev ling and at other places in layers of 300 mm and compacted up to 95% to its Modified Proctor density or as per direction of Engineer n charge up to required height and any plan dimension for any lead including cost of all labour, tools, equipment, hire charges, co of slag sand by way of royalties, right of way, taxes, transportation, testing, watering, rolling each layer with 8 tonne to 10 to e roller in open area and by 1 tonne to 2 tonne roller or wooden or steel rammers in confined area, and dressing / filling up groun depressions etc. complete in all respect as per scope of work, detailed construction drawings, as per technical specifications and d ections of the Engineer-in-charge. Note: Slag sand of grain sizes 5mm to 0.075mm with 10% fines to be used to obtain dense to very nse layers."

FILLING WITH FLY ASH- PRT — ILLING WITH FLY ASH : Supply of approved Fly Ash and controlled filling for site levelling, site grading and at other places with c paction using 8 to 10 tonne capacity vibratory roller to achieve dry density of 95% Modified Proctor density with approved quality F Ash ( Geotechnical Properties as per Table 1 of IRC:SP:58-2001) including making temporary dividing bunds in ash pond if required, ading, transportation and unloading complete as desired, in layers not exceeding 30 cms including watering, consolidating, dressing, rimming to required slope/gradient, testing all as per specifications, drawings and instructions of the Engineer Incharge. Fly ash s ple to be tested at laboratory approved by HPCL/MECON."

SAND FILLING- PRT — AND FILLING : Supplying and filling approved quality coarse sand / m-sand/ river sand (Zone II or Zone III) in foundation, pavement flooring, trenches, pits and other places for any lead, at all locations in layers of 150 mm thickness including watering and ramm g as per direction of Engineer in charge for required depth and any plan dimension.Rate to include cost of all labour, tools, tackle equipment, hire charges, cost of sand, royalties right of way, taxes, and backfilling using sand in all conditions, etc."
