Dismantling & taking down existing street light / security light /flood light / post top lantern / high mast light / tube light / Garden light fitting of any type or wattage from the street / perimeter light on poles / walls including removal of old, damaged / corroded pipe-bracket, MS clamps, bolts, nuts, etc. for repair by replacement of burnt/worn out accessories and refixing in position after removing dust / foreign particles and cleaning top cover of the fitting completely including connecting of fitting complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-Charge.

NOTE for Item no 1 :- (i) Accessories/material wherever required for replacing shall be measured and paid seperately as supply only. (ii) Labour charges for taking down and refixing after repair including minor spares like nuts, bolts and insulation materials shall be deemed to be included in the rate quoted by the bidder. (iii) The maintenance/repairs of luminaries will be carried out as and when required by Engineer in Charge.

Supply and fixing street light mounting bracket, made out of Light grade GI Tubing 32 mm bore, bend into shape inner angle not less than 120° and overall length not less than 1.0 Mtr including suitable size clamps made from not less than 25x3 mm MS strip , Nut, bolts 12 mm dia with washers complete with fixing arrangement etc and duly painted with two coats of synthetic enamelled Aluminium paint over a coat of red oxide primer complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer in Charge.

Material & Labour for painting of pole steel tubular/rail type with one coat of aluminium paint for 9/11/12 Mtr long pole externally after removal of old paint, rust, dust, oil, grease or any other foreign deposits by wire brush, cleaning with scrapers for removal of rust for any width or girth with and including numbering of poles in 15 CM dia blackbase & 2.5 to 3 CM height white paint letters complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Material & Labour for dismantling existing unserviceable looping box alongwith clamps complete, and Supply & Fixing SMC pole mounted right hinged looping box of size 300 mm x 200 mm x105 mm with SP MCB 01 Nos, and 4 way connector suitable for upto 35 sqmm cable with HT, GI coating nutbolt and suitable size cable lug as per cable size for both cables complete with necessary MS clamp made of 25x3 mm MS flat, bolts, nuts, washers etc. for fixing to the steel tubular /rail /concrete pole complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Supplying & fixing MCB single pole (`C’ series ) 5 to 30 Amps capacity suitable for 240 volts having current rating 6-20A of 10 KA including Taking down old MCB SP any type & any capacity complete all as specified and directed by Engineer in Charge. Supplying & fixing MCB DP 40 amp rating 240 Volt including Taking down old MCB DP any type & any capacity complete all as specified and directed by Engineer in Charge. Cat No 408636 Make Legrand or equvailent from list of make as approved by GE.

Material & Labour for cross arms, bracings, supports, clamps, and back plate fabricated from structural steel sections including nuts, bolts, washers, weldings, bending cold or hot drilled holes for bolts of any shape or size as indicated or directed including of one primer coat, one under coat and one finishing coat of paint including dismantling of existing cross arms etc complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer in Charge.

Material & Labour for Dismantling of cross arms of MS fabricated complete with all accessories viz nut, bolts, washer etc. complete all as specified and directed by Engineer in Charge.

Restringing of LT OH ACSR conductor consisting of 03 or 06 conductors and up to height of 10 mts above from the ground level for Per span of 30-50 meters complete all as specified and as directed by engineer in Charge.

Dismantling of ACSR conductor LT on any type of pole complete all as specified and directed by Engineer in Charge.

Material & Labour for drawing, stringing and binding on isulators ACSR conductor on existing poles of any size as per existing or as required including jointing, testing, connecting complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Material & Labour for defect rectification for HT/LT cable laid in trenches by locating fault with the help of electronic fault locating machine comprising of surge generator pulse, ECHO fault locator with high frequency distance calculator etc. including additional excavation in any soil strata required for exposing the cable fault; removal of deteriorated portion of cable testing of cable and keeping the same ready for jointing work for cable of size up to 300 Sq mm 3 core HT Cable and 3.5 core 400 sqmm LT cable. The fault locating equipments shall be brought to site within the same day of instruction from Engr-in-Charge complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer in Charge.

Supply & fix cable jointing kit for 1100 volts grade cable for straight through joint complete with jointing material (epoxy based) and accessories suitable for 3.5 core XLPE of size 25 to 50 sqmm complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer in Charge.

Supply & fix cable jointing kit for 1100 volts grade cable for straight through joint complete with jointing material (epoxy based) and accessories suitable for 3.5 core XLPE of size 70 to 120 sqmm complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer in Charge.

NOTE - Cost of fixing jobs like drilling, welding, etc. required for fixing of strip and insulators on the any existing surface like PCC wall, asbestos sheet, etc. at site is deemed to be inclusive in the quoted rate.

All as per item No 56 above but of GI strip 32 mm x 6 mm.

Labour only for re-fixing in repairs/replacement air termination at any height, single pointed, aluminium rod 19 mm dia and 300 mm long to be screwed and sturdily fixed to GI pipe of 40 mm dia with and including two no. sets of suitable size nut, bolt, washers (02 Nos) complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge. NOTE :- PCC block and GI pipe required shall be measured and paid separately under relevant items of this Schedule.

Supply & Fix in repairs/replacement air termination at any height, single pointed, aluminium rod 19 mm dia and 600 mm long to be screwed and sturdily fixed to GI pipe of 40 mm dia with and including two no. sets of suitable size nut, bolt, washers (02 Nos.) complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge. NOTE - PCC block and GI pipe required shall be measured and paid separately under relevant items of this schedule.

Material & Labour for fixing and connecting in replacement test point terminal block made out of gun metal or phosphorus bronze size 75 x 75 x 25 mm thick drilled and screwed including 03 Nos 8 mm dia 25 mm long hexagonal head screws fixed to GI strip bracket fixed to porcelain insulator on wall as in repairs, complete all as specified and directed by Engineer in Charge. Note: Porcelain insulator required for work shall be measured & paid separately under relevant item of this schedule.

Supply & Fix in replacement GI strip 32 mm x 6 mm to be buried in ground as earth continuity conductor to be fixed from test point to test point complete all as specified and directed by Engineer in Charge. Note :- Earth work required shall be measured and paid for separately under relevant items of this schedule.

Supply & Fix in replacement at any height and on any surface vitreous china porcelain insulator with busbar support, white type to be fixed on wall or on roof (upto. 35 feet above GL) for fixing of GI or copper conductor earth continuity strip complete all as specified and directed by Engineer in Charge. Note :- Cost of fixing like drilling, welding, etc. required for fixing of strip and insulators on the any existing surface like PCC wall, asbestos sheet, etc. at site is deemed to be included in the quoted rate.

Material & Labour for earthing complete with hot dip galvanized steel pipe in pipe electrode, outer pipe 88mm dia medium grade and inner pipe 55 mm dia including testing, 3 mtr long and having 50x6 mm terminal on inner pipe to connect earthing strip with 14 mm holes for nut bolts, buried directly and vertically in ground with top edge at 30 cm below ground level after making bore hole of 100 mm dia and 3.3 mtr deep using suitable mechanical drilling machine (for drilling near the specified bldg) connected with galvanized steel earthing lead of 32x6 mm strip with minimum two Nos of GI nut bolits and connected to test point from earthing pit. The electrode pipes should be filled with 2x 25 kg bags of carbon based earthing compound. The resistance of the compound should be less than 0.1 Oms . The compound should be highly conductive, hygroscopic, non magnetic, non corrosive in nature and have best moisture retaining qualities with ph value between7-9. Connected to the earthing test point, Fiber reinforced plastic pit not less than 300x300 mm with pit cover, including necessary returning filling & removal of extra soil , to achieved earth resistance value less than 5 Oms including testing complete all as specified Make U-Protect or equivalent NOTE: IF the desired result not obtained after testing the contractor shall do re-eathing without any extra cost.

Demolition of Brickwork or stone/boulder masonry, built in cement mortar or cement lime mortar including all quoins, arches, pillars, etc, but excluding ashlar facings, dressed stonework and precast concrete articles and removing the debris from the site to a location as directed.

Material & Labour for PCC (1:2:4) Type B0 (using 12.5 mm graded stone aggregate) for block size form work as in grouting of GI pipe of air termination rod on the roof (appx. 35 feet above GL) and for making good to PCC pavement/road/hard standing complete all as specified and directed by Engineer in Charge. NOTE - (i) Size of PCC block required for erection of GI pipe-air termination arrangement is to be approved by ENgr-in-Charge. (ii) Quoted rate is deemed to be inclusive of arrangements required for fixing of PCC blocks at any height and on any surface.

Material & Labour for testing of lighting protection system & earthing (except new earthing covered under srl item Nos 65 herein before) of various Tech Accns in the presence of JE E/M & Engineer -in -Charge by removing all earthing connections and the resistance of earthing (if any) & lightning protection network detailing the defective earthings & lightening protection systems. Items to be repaired/ to be renewed must be noted down during record of test of lighting protection system. The test results should be kept on record after repairs/renewal and have to be get signed from Engineer-in-Charge alongwith the signature of Contractor. NOTE: (i) The earthing showing test result beyond 10 ohms are to be renewed and will be measured & paid for separately under relevant item of Sch 'A'. (ii). Earth Megger for measuring the resistance of each earthing and conncetd accessories is to be brought by the contractor.

Supply & Fix in repairs/replacement 01 RM long 40mm dia.light grade GI pipe with provision of two no. holes (at appropriate offsets as approved by Engr-in-Charge) on its body so as to fix 19mm dia aluminium air termination rod at top and 02 Nos. 12 cm long criss-cross welded 8mm dia TMT bar arrangement at the bottom and to be grouted in PCC block at any height complete all as specified and directed by Engineer in Charge.

Supply & Fix in repairs/replacement 02 RM long 40mm dia. light grade GI pipe with provision of two no. holes (at appropriate offsets as approved by Engr-in-Charge) on its body so as to fix 19mm dia aluminium air termination rod at top and 02 Nos. 12 cm long criss-cross welded 8mm dia TMT bar arrangement at the bottom and to be grouted in PCC block at any height complete all as specified and directed by Engineer in Charge.

Material & Labour for PCC Type B-1, 1:3:6 using (20 mm gradded stone aggregate) for coping, including form work complete all as specified & directed by Engineer in Charge.

Removing existing worn out CI cover with angle iron frame of earth chamber and supply and fix new CI cover of size 30 cm x 30 cm x 6 mm thick fixed in frame made out of mild steel angle iron 40 mm x 40 mm x 6 mm thick with and including locking and lifting arrangement, painting with two coats of synthetic enamel paint over a coat of red oxide zinc chrome primer on steel surfaces complete all as specified and directed by Engineer in Charge.

Note for all items above :- (a). Necessary safety measures shall be provided by the contractor to labours while carrying out repair works. (b) Proper Scaffolding arrangement/ladder(s) is to be used and the rate of the same is deemed to be included in the quoted rates. (c) Any damage/loss to govt. property shall be make good by the contractor at his own cost. (d) Labour employed shall be given all saftey equipments like saftey belts and connected items.
